The smartphone title Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] has been announced to be released in Taiwan on January 25, 2018 with an exclusive dedicated server. This announcement comes right after many advertisements were shown for the game in Ximending in Taipei, Taiwan earlier this month, which you can take a look at the gallery below thanks to Twitter user @yura_zatta. These advertisements also show a never before seen Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]-styled character model for Sephiroth, which seems to be hinting at his possible future appearance in the game. Promotional advertisements for the title will continue to be up in Taipei until the end of the month. An announcement also revealed that the first to visit the dedicated booth D710 and download Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] at the Taipei Game Show 2018, taking place between January 26 - 29, 2018, will receive an appropriately themed bag to celebrate the game's release. With this announcement, Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] will now be available to download in Japan, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Taiwan. Amazon Japan and Square Enix Japan are now accepting pre-orders for Kingdom Hearts Lighting Clocks. There are two different versions to choose from. The first clock can light up and features all 13 plates that were featured on Kingdom Hearts series memorial stained glass clock that was showcased in Japan last year. The main plate is Sora's Dive to the Heart. You can view the gallery below: The price for the Lighting Clock is set for ¥10,584 (approx. $95.36), and will be available on May 27th for Square Enix Japan and May 31st for Amazon Japan. The second clock can also light up, but comes with a radio. The layout is the same as the other version except the main plate is the alternative version of Dive to the Heart, which features the characters from the cover of Kingdom Hearts. In December 2017, Twitter users @Keytotruth, 13th Vessel, and @Xeeynamo uncovered many of the game files from Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A fragmentary passage- through hacking. 13th Vessel has now reported that they have uncovered "almost every model," including untextured character models for Riku in his Kingdom Hearts original outfit, Donald, Ansem the Wise and Terra; he has also found Riku's and Mickey's suitcases model. He has also found the files for Ventus and shirtless Mickey and many more, but there are no images available for those yet. In the mean time, you can view all of the assets available in the gallery below: UPDATE [Jan 2, 2018]: 13th Vessel has uncovered the untextured character model for Terra-Xehanort's Guardian, which you can view in the gallery above. He's also found Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key D, Donald's weapon, and effects for the previously reported on Water magic, which were not viewable. Some maps and textures of models are still there even after having been deleted. For example, in the NPC folder, 13th Vessel found some folders for Daybreak Town, but they only had textures of scrapped models in them. (Note that there he didn't find any maps for Daybreak Town.) The next step would be to find a way of seeing these textures to identify them, but 13th Vessel says that that's a very complicated task. He states that because of this, there could be many things that are scrapped that we are not able to view. UPDATE [Jan 2, 2018]: 13th Vessel has uploaded the soundtrack's file names from Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A fragmentary passage- that he pulled from the game's assets. This list does not contain the game's opening song, "Simple and Clean (Ray of Hope Mix)." UPDATE [Jan 5, 2018]: We had another chance to speak to 13th Vessel about the NPC folders and the textures (with no models) found in them, and he explained to us, in detail, that some of the characters' models are found in folders whose names are identifiable with the code of the area those characters are seen during the game. For instance, the untextured models for Yen Sid, Riku, Riku's and Mickey's suitcases, and Kairi, were found in folders with the code "yt" - for Yen Sid's Tower. Similarly, the models for Aqua and Terranort were found in Dark World ("dw") folders; and the models for Luxu and the box he carries, as seen in the Keyblade Graveyard, were appropriately found in a Daybreak Town ("db") folder. Japanese brand K.uno has announced a new Kingdom Hearts Sora Stained Glass watch for its U-TREASURE line of customized pop-culture inspired products. It is scheduled to release at the end of February 2018. This product follows the Kingdom Hearts-themed watch (which sold out in only 1 minute from the start of pre-orders) and some Kingdom Hearts-themed jewelry previously announced by the same brand. The watch features Sora's stained glass motif, and the Kingdom Hearts logo at the back. It also comes in a special case featuring a silver imprint of the Kingdom Hearts logo on top. Back in September, HdHereidme uploaded a video showing off a hacked version of Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. The video contains the free exploration of sections with limited accessibility in the game, such as Destiny Islands and The World Within in Dwarf Woodlands. The video showcases the beauty of the Unreal Engine 4, and definitely leaves the viewer wondering how Kingdom Hearts III will look like in 2018. Square Enix held a Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary Commemorative Campaign Preview Night at the Square Enix Café Osaka in Japan today (October 13th, 2017) to celebrate the Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary, as well as to celebrate the Square Enix Café Osaka's grand opening in Japan, which is happening tomorrow October 14th, 2017. The Preview Night was held from 18:00 - 21:00 JST, and the meeting place was Osaka Umeda Yodobashi 1st Basement. There was no entry fee. Instead, 40 Square Enix Japan members were selected by lottery to be invited. The series director Tetsuya Nomura, executive producer Shinji Hashimoto, Kingdom Hearts III co-director Tai Yasue, and lead character modeler Mr Yamasaki made a surprise appearance during the event. They some comments about Kingdom Hearts III as well as the future of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]. The main attraction of the night was, however, the introduction of the Kingdom Hearts themed menu which included various food items and drinks. A variety of art was also showcased at the event including original artwork drawn by Nomura, and exclusive merchandise, including previously event-exclusive merchandise, has been made available for purchase for the duration of the campaign. This event precedes the collective campaign event between Square Enix Café Osaka, Square Enix Café Tokyo, and ARTNIA for the Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary. This will be held at both Square Enix Cafés plus ARTNIA. ARTNIA will be holding it from October 14th, 2017 to December 14th, 2017, and both Square Enix Café Osaka and Square Enix Café Tokyo will be holding it from October 14th, 2017 to November 10th, 2017.
