  1. Well, duh -- he's running into all those spikes and he hasn't lost a single ring.
  2. Ghosts! Because they're 2 spooky 4 u
  3. My interests in things come and go. I ever find myself seriously invested in a work, there's a good chance I won't be leaving it behind for good, but I can put it out of my mind when another fandom is catching my attention. It was actually only a month or two ago that I got back into KH. Before that, I was focused on Final Fantasy (mainly VII), and before that it was Megaman X, and before that it was Megaman Classic, and before that it was Pokemon, and before that it was... Kingdom Hearts. Yeah, I have a few fandoms on rotation. For some of them, KH was either on the side or dropped off my radar entirely, but I never found the desire to drop it altogether. I just got interested in other things. But I can understand leaving a fandom behind if you've legitimately just lost interest in it. Personal tastes change, or maybe a series has taken a direction you just don't appreciate. I'm aware of the flaws in KH, but they don't bother me that much -- either I'm good at finding things to like about a work, or maybe KH is just one of those series where you have to focus on the positives unless you want its (probably numerous) flaws to ruin the experience. As it stands, I spend more time writing fanfiction these days, usually AUs, over focusing on the actual games. Since there are so many dry spells and I'm unable to (and somewhat uninterested in) playing Chi, I don't have much choice if I want my fill of KH stuff.
  4. Y'know what's also mandatory? Useless nerd stuff. Speaking of which, I'm not sure why the box says Birth By Sleep when none of these keyblades/symbols even appear in BBS except for Sora's crown.
  5. Was at a geek store and impulse bought a set of KH keychains. For anyone afraid of growing up, take solace in that there are indeed grown ups who will choose to spend their money on useless nerd stuff.
  6. According to a bookshelf at this Barnes & Noble, Daring Do and the Eternal Flower is apparently a "Life Story." I guess ponies really are a way of life.
  7. KH/Silent Hill is another crossover that I'm pretty sure we all need. At least I have better luck finding such works than FF/SH stuff.
  8. The Silent Hill part or the boinking Sephiroth part?
  9. But yes, a proper Silent Hill for Cloud would be a very interesting read.
  10. I remember coming across an FFVII fic inspired by Silent Hill 2 (don't remember if it was AU or not), but unfortunately it was a Cloud/Sephiroth pairing, and from what I managed to glance through it seemed like a lot of Cloud's issues stemmed from not boinking Sephiroth when he had the chance. Or maybe that was another fic.
  11. I'm disappointed by the lack of Final Fantasy/Silent Hill fanart. Clearly it's a crossover everyone needs. Mostly I just see Cloud filling in for Pyramid Head (big swords 'n all).
  12. Your school hosted the test? Damn, I needed to shell out like $300 to get my A+ certification.
  13. If you ever have problems you feel like you can't deal with on your own, at least, AT LEAST talk to DC or Lea or pretty much anyone else on the current mod team. They are all wonderful and supportive and lovely people who can at least lend an ear. Trust me on this. I've witnessed this support from them myself. It always reminds me of how friendly this community can be, and that's not something I can say about a lot of forums on the internet. No one is judging you on any health issues you have, and if they are, firetruck 'em -- it's not like there are many if any of them wandering around here. But the thing is, no one will know anything's going on if you don't reach out to them. You don't have to make a public spectacle out of it, maybe just a PM asking if you can talk. It looks like you've already done so with Steve, and that's great. That's just more proof there are people here you can turn to.
  14. Osaka made my favorite gameplay in the KH series (BBS and its command deck). DDD's gameplay seems floaty from what I hear, but I don't have any complaints when it comes to the team.
  15. I honestly thought you meant that BBS novel about Vanitas. Considering this is a KH fansite, you'll probably get that kind of confusion a lot around here.
  16. So I was at the coffee shop/Barnes & Noble watching all the high school kids study for chemistry and physics and whatnot, and there I was after work writing a Kingdom Hearts fanfic. I love being out of school.
  17. And now I'm listening to Dearly Beloved while I imagine getting my teeth drilled.
  18. I WISH they'd play Dearly Beloved at the dentist. It might make the experience somewhat less buttpoop.
  19. If you're that curious, I noticed my butt in the mirror and thought, "Wow, that thing sure can jiggle." I'm not sure how to feel about this.
  20. My butt is jigglier than I thought.
  21. It feels like I should do a thing, but I don't feel like doing a thing.
  22. The only smartphone I have is my iPhone for work. I wonder if my boss would care if I used company property to play vidja?
  23. tmw the people who try to defend your viewpoint just end up proving the other side right and make you look bad. But based on what I hear about IGN, I don't particularly care about what they think of KH. I personally love turning things-that-aren't-JRPGs into JRPGs, just like a lot of people can indeed like pizza with pineapples. And hey, shouldn't the size of the fanbase speak for itself that Disney and Final Fantasy's lovechild can appeal to people?
