Guard, Counterattack and Sliding Dash are your best friends in this fight.

The "Ars Arcarum" (forgive my spelling) helped. I was around level 44. Also, As soon as the screen goes to dark, I jumped up high and glided in a circle. I also had Counterattack as well. Dodge roll helps as well. I also treated Riku like a swordsman as he treated me like one, so he attacks, I guard, or attack at the same time. Thanks to counterattack, I parry his attack and counterattack him. Oh I was using Shield and gave up sword.

I know. It would've been better if they either, A. took Hiatus breaks to prevent fillers and stay consistent and still air to the final Arc, or B. Create better fillers that are consistent.

I agree, the fillers suck somewhat, esp. when not transitioned properly like how Naruto Shippuden is done. The only filler I liked from Bleach was the Gotei 13 and it transitioned properly and entertained me well enough.
