  1. ...Good luck, Sikota. If not now, then surely, another time— you and she will have a happy ending. You're clever, she's persistent, I know together you'll be able to overcome this time. I wish I knew more, but nonetheless, know that you have another friend here wanting to look after her until you get back. Again, good luck!
  2. With consideration of the warning you gave preceding the 'joke'...you're probably right.
  3. "Indeed...." Morgan murmured after the King's comment, surprised that the use of lightning wasn't prohibited. It stood to reason that metalbending would be allowed, while energybending is left unknown as of now. Bloodbending, however, was directly forbidden, as Morgan herself needed to watch for such. She gazed upon the fighters upon a balcony high-up, but below the King. From the other side of the arena, Celsus oversaw the match with content observations. Quite interesting to see the easygoing Air Nomad against such an intense firebender. Even more so the gas of fire in collision with air, the fight was chaotic. He glanced to the King as well, then back to the fight, curious as to who would win. Sighing, Joshua sat against the wall of the gallery, not really paying much attention to the fight— nor to anything, really. Boringly, he continued playing with a small bit of water he took from his water bottle, he rested his head against the wall's corner, dreading his presence here, to an extent.
  4. Blue hair anime girl standing in water, actually
  5. That's all I expected when I saw you in my notifications
  6. So today I was in the bandroom, minding my own business (and eating a cookie), when my friends in pit and drumline decide to put me in a cardboard box (which no one else could fit in), close it, and take me to our band instructor."And he brought cookies!" Is what my band instructor replied with rather nonchalantly, as I ate about half of it while still in the box.So yeah.
  7. Three characters-- the last of which is not a competitor. Name: Celsus Kunrin Age: 31 Gender: Male Appearance: Nation of Origin: Earth Kingdom Life Story: Celsus, of the family bearing the name 'Kunrin,' keeps in mind at all times, that his family was once meant to rule the entire Earth Kingdom. As that had been passed onto another, Celsus' family keeps a strong grudge, despite being of the wealthiest families in the entire kingdom. Celsus took this lightly when he was younger, now having realized that he could have been king of an entire nation had it been passed onto his family! Now, he restrains himself, quite properly in fact, joining the competition in Omashu with hopes that he could display his bending prowess against that of other Nations, and hopefully well-rounded in his skills, even having surpassed the level of Earthbending. This is my main roleplay character, so what if I overuse him? Name: Joshua Akira Age: 11 Gender: Male Appearance: Nation of Origin: [Northern] Water Tribe Life Story: A child prodigy of water-bending for years, far too much pressure has recently been forced upon Joshua. His family, his instructors, his peers, his friends, all so expectant of a good future. For this reason, he was sent to the competition in Omashu, even if Joshua knew that he wouldn't win, whether due to insufficient skill...or otherwise. At the very least, Joshua is happy to be a part of it, in a sense, as a break from those who replaced his loved ones. Name: Morgan "Etiam Vinctum" (actual surname concealed to avoid any troublesome contingencies). Age: 24 Gender: Female Appearance: Nation of Origin: Fire Nation Life Story: Born of royal Fire Nation blood, Morgan's surname is hidden to avoid being so easily found after the competition. Regardless of which, her placement as an observer of the competition was ensured by her mother, and she is charged with seeing to prevent any outside quarrels of conflict, as well as ensuring that there should never be the use of any...unethical abilities, in or out of the competition. Morgan, herself, seems to be a bit peculiar, with an obsession over Spirits such as the Spirits of the Ocean, the Moon, Koh the Face-Stealer, etc. White Lotus
  8. "It's not a book...." Margaret glanced around, seeing all twelve erupted and carrying their respective books. "They're all...Phantoms. Not even corrupted humans...these are all phantoms of different books." Margaret gulped, and then smirked. She unsheathed her two weapons and brought them into their forms as firearms. She shot , only for the Phantoms to all scatter throughout the city, each in different places. There wouldn't be much time to handle all twelve alone.Dante paid no more heed to the auras of Enochian phantoms released, and focused all of his attention to Hiro. "I'm pleased to do so, Hiro, no thanks are necessary." He stated nonchalantly, just as he took his golden gun and fired it at the creature without hesitation. Shot at a non-lethal area, Dante's eyes glimmered gold, "Oxex raclir!" He chanted, as before with Lira, causing the thing to vomit and weep. A much more grotesque sight than expected, with this one, with all he ate and now with blood. Its gluttonous and ravenous demeanor was deprived, and the phantom returned to its book, the man corrupted alive, but sickened.Noah grit his teeth, the sounds from everyone around him were distracting and annoying. "Surely we could reach the end of a building by this point...!" He growled, still following Elda."You act as if my absence will stop the rest," The voice of Sloth rang in Aisling's ears, even as mere whispers, "I am curious, however, nothing is meant to occur until tomorrow...! The loss of many Phantoms today will bring you no avail. They will merely wait." I looked at Aisling hopefully, holding my hand up to reveal my key, then slowly saying: "I ask of thee: art--"My sentence cut off by the snakes around me, it had bitten in-- injecting mild venom into me. Mild, however, dozens of other snakes coiled around me, some possibly lethal, others not. Aisling began being bitten as well.
  9. Upon reading the text sent to him, Noah pursued the 'goal' he was given, vanishing into his shadows and searching. Alexander and Kasumi remained, appearing as if they were having a mild argument. By the end, Alexander fell silent again, and Kasumi walked to Rini and Astro, practically dragging him behind her. Not absolute on what to say either, dhe approached them a bit hesitantly, but confident in her speech, nonetheless. "......Do either of you know where we are?" She asked, glancing over to Alexander who was busy trying to find the site of the inhumane screech.
  10. Oh, I love VSauce, great videos. I agree with Reiku as for a standpoint, though.
  11. I JUST FOUND OUT THAT YOU'RE— Rrrrgh, why do I never know of these things...!? *sigh* ...Anyway, you know me. I can make as many characters as necessary, I've had seventeen of them, once.
  12. It may be late, but I'd like to join. As seen from what was said above, I'm concerned of my ability to do so.
  13. I really want kids— truly, but I do feel like I'll disappoint myself. My expectations for my future child are not nearly decided, and so I mean the expectations of how I raise him or her. While I would love to have either, or both, I'm hoping for a son when I'm.older. Having no brothers and three sisters may be a reason for that, I've always wanted one, so a son might be even better. That, and I already have my favorite boy name in mind (I better be the one deciding on the name, or a mutual agreement for that I mean seriously). Anyway, I feel as if I might disappoint myself with a child. I dearly want to raise him or her 'right,' basically how I consider the opposite of most kids I'm surrounded by everyday. I just feel like I might not raise them right, ir that he/she just might not listen to me, perhaps even bad influences around. I guess it's an insecurity or fear of mine. Nevertheless, I have plenty of time before I get to that point.
  14. We need people to post already
  15. "No idea...." Margaret said, unsure of what lied ahead. The presence was enveloped throughout a few homes, however...though, each were rather small. She grabbed Anthea's hand and brought her into the first home, finding the two Phantom books upon the floor, both with a golden and black design to them, and an ouroboros. Foreign symbols and runes were etched within and outside of the books as well. One read The First: Malice and the other read The Twelfth: Trouble. Upon coming only a few feet away from them, the books erupted into manifestations of Phantoms, both bypassing Anthea and Margaret, entering the other houses, and awakening all ten others in mere moments.Dante stopped in hesitation before continuing. He looked behind, distantly, as if towards somewhere else of the town. "Enochian Phantoms...?" He inquired, quietly, as Hiro was pounced and pummeled by someone appearing hardly human, as if to devour her. "Hiro!" Dante called, a golden barrier blocking her from the creature a few seconds."Aisling...!" I called eagerly, just before she fell to the ground as well. "You are not prepared for God's plans, young Joshua, nor are you for ours." I stopped, confused as much as he was exhausted from Sloth's incessant abilities. "...." I stopped, speechless and thoughtful. (What...what do you mean?) The voice of Sloth continued speaking, "All should know that God has a plan for everyone. But do you know who it benefits? NONE BUT HIMSELF!!" The voice startled me, I stayed down in absolute fear of the demonic voice. "What few know...is that we have a plan as well." The voice of Sloth dropped its might onto Aisling as well, whispering: "You, too, prove far too weak to save yourself or Joshua. And shouldn't you care about yourself for once as well...?" The snakes had reached them, beginning to slither across myself and Aisling, not yet biting. "You and your father always seem to have a false sense of invincibility...."
  16. "Even if w-- you don't want to...I think you'll find out, anyway...." Joshua pointed out, taking Walter's hand and strolling to Ryonne and Bronshu before Ryonne would say anything to them...again.
  17. Joshua's eyes drifted a little nervously, but he smiled optimistically, as he always did with other people. He was never pessimistic with anyone but himself. "Just...don't pay any more attention to them...! All that matters is now, right?"Noah continued observing the forest inquisitively as they strolled through it. While they were making a bit of noise, surely any potential predators would have shown by now. With the lizard creatures having battled earlier, why would any animals stray away? Unless, perhaps, they were controlled just as those reptilian warriors. Regardless, this was the most simplistic means of travel.Morgan sighed, "I'd prefer to not be referred to as 'Stiff.' In fact, I fail to see how that became a nickname of mine." She glared at Mes for a moment, such a pretentious young one she was. She gave a soft smirk to her then, having thought of the only memory she regained. Morgan then looked to Harry, "Southeast-- the exact opposition of our true goal. We must decide if reaching the mountain is of greater or lesser significance to the oasis...."
  18. "Truly...." Dante stated, observing the grotesque remains of whomever was tainted by the Book of Gluttony. As messy as it all was, there was no definitive trail left behind in the rather large building to easily locate the victim, but it should not prove to be all too difficult. "Stay beside me, Hiro," He called to her, proceeding up the stairs and doing his best to follow the sound of gnawing. As the first stair creaked, the gnawing stopped abruptly. He continued up the steps."Ugh, fine." Margaret stressed a bit, continuing off into the cul' de sac she was initially led to. The presence of corruption lied in each home, the same in all, but clearly having affected more than one family."Aisling...." Joshua called desperately, reaching out for Aisling as well. He gave a short cry as it was to no avail, and the snakes slithered about ever closer to him, along with incoming demise. With even more desperation, he stood up and nearly walked a few steps before gravity brought itself down upon him again with overgrowing prowess. "It is not worth the effort...." The essence of Sloth began whispering to him, unbeknownst of a location. "You cannot save your life. And when it ends, Aisling too, will die regardless of her will. You are not up to the task. The heavy burden brings you down."
  19. "Got it." Isaac stated darkly, with a bit of a grin. "I only do so on my even younger specimen," He smirked, and before Emaralda might be able to see that as an insult to age, Isaac injected anesthesia into her, making her sleepy and numb, to elude the pain of it. From within the laboratory, many other specimen were, awaiting experimentation. As Emaralda would fall asleep, Isaac quickly killed one, removing the tendon that was attached between its eye and its brain. Throughout the 'procedure,' Isaac's main purpose was connecting the tendon to the brain and to Kurumi's eye, which he placed to Emaralda's left rib."Alright," Yumiko said simply but a bit unassured. She and the others listened in to where they were headed, debating why they were even still there.
  20. "So be it." Morgan stated simply, her eyes looking darkly upon Shibuya now that the Reapers' Game had officially began. "I wonder if any of them are able enough to win the Game this time around."Elsewhere, the sudden buzzes and ringing of a few cell phones blurted out loudly, quickly awakening three new players. Noah awoke quietly, instantly silencing his phone and standing just as the first few Noise had spawned into life.Kasumi and Alexander awoke at the same time, doing the same as Noah, both silent, but looking at each other, confusedly. They had all died.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Three swords flew above Rini, and with a simple point, the three Noise were defeated. With the death of but a single Noise, a distant, small chamber, gave a loud sound of a shatter, and then an intense, demoralizing screech heard throughout all of Shibuya, ending abruptly. From the first of seven chambers, Sonitus had awoken. "The Game...has begun yet again."
  21. Before Joshua could think of anything to say to Walter, Ryonne stepped in abruptly, laying out all of her thoughts a bit harshly. He stood near them silently, and nervously. Ryonne didn't seem to take quietly to those who were a bit...dependent...exactly what Joshua himself is. Without...Aisling...he was defenseless. "I-It's okay, Walter...don't worry about me, I know not everything you remember will be...nice." Joshua looked down a bit, he was standing almost exactly where he awoke. Along with that single celandine near the spring, many of the lilies, daisies, and roses were blackened with Sylar's shadow and drained of life. A fitting sign of what he felt-- so much more than misery and self-pity, even if those were both present within.Noah remained silent, without any reason to respond to anything to neither Neena nor Ren. His gray eyes remained blank without emotion, and he drifted his eyes to the direction of the mountain. He examined the mountain itself, trying to anticipate an approximate distance between themselves and it, Evidently, it was a bit inconclusive, with an abundance of trees blocking his view, as well as the chirping and chattering of various animals and arthropods simply irritated him. All he knew is that the mountain was...far. "...We should start going. No time wasted. Even a single memory might be useful...."Morgan gave a smirk behind Mes and took her scabbard, latching it back onto her side with the blade still sheathed. She gave a quick look at Auron and began reading his thoughts based on expression. "I appear to strike a sense of familiarity with you...strangely, however, you do not have such with me. Interesting...."
  22. The moment Sylar's cage of darkness vanished, Joshua ran up to Walter, hugging him tightly as he seemed to experience a bit of trauma...again. By this point, the silent cry he gave for his own regained memory had stopped. Joshua stood quietly for a few moments, wanting to comfort Walter but unsure of how to. "...It's...okay to cry, Walter, just...." he gulped in a bit of nervousness, "don't be anyone but yourself...." he said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear. "Whatever happened..." he began again, "I'm sure you're capable of not failing anyone else again." In the forest, Noah quickly left the reptilian corpses to find the others. He may not talk with them, but he knew he could do very little without. Eventually, Noah slid down a tree near Neena, almost landing on her last slain corpse. Morgan couldn't help but laugh, not at any memory, but at Mes' misfortune of being ignored, as well as her immaturity to the matter. "Perhaps you'll get one later. I'm fairly certain this voice won't give anyone any memories again and again, despite any prowess of theirs." She stated, placing her scabbard upon the sand and examining the shadpw for a few moments. "The mountain— shown beacon of light is northwest of this location. If we are to find an oasis elsewhere, we must keep track of our direction."
  23. "My God is your's as well, Atlas." Morgan pointed out, looking down upon Shibuya. She smirked, "I am curious, however, as to what way said God has while looking at you." She remarked a bit magnanimously, her rapier sheathed into its black scabbard as she awaited the Players' awakening. "Be sure to remember we still rule over the Noise...no 'Sound' will disrupt that fact. Make sure of it this Game."
  24. As long as everyone here doesn't abandon it, yes. Also, some people tend to join soon after the RP itself is created.
