I kinda of feel similarly, but I can do my best to contribute quality posts, as you do. We need more late night Final Fantasy Philosophy discussions.
All in all, I truly don;t know these golden days of KH13 everyone talks about. As far as forums go, and I've been through a bunch, this is the best one I've ever seen. Almost all the members are nice, or at least respectful in their own way. There is little out right hostility between members, and when there is the mods seem to take care of it promptly. Even the admin is highly accessible when it comes to resolving issues.
Sure there are some people who post and they're...less than promoting the well being of a thread, but you'll get that no matter where you go. The mods are also very good at cleaning up threads of unnecessary posts (I'm looking at you Genn) to make the thread higher quality.
Personally, when I log onto this site during work or when I get home, I don;t really want to worry about if what I am posting or saying is returning KH13 to some Silver Millennium period of the past. I want to come here, talk to some people about some stuff, be myself doing it, and have a fun time in the process. If I have to start analyzing everything I post to some unknown standard, it becomes tedious and I feel as though I ma having to censor myself. I understand the desire for quality discussion, but to constanly want things to be like 'the good old days' itself is excluding people in a way.
I do, however; support the call to arms of members to try and be respectful to one another and have more polite interactions with each other. If the environment itself can be kept fair, it should reflect in the posts themselves.
This is all just the personal opinion and feelings of one little hedgehog though, so don't take it as any sort of way but that: an opinion.
