Despite it being mostly filler, I absolutely loved this part of the story. I mean it dives deep into Sora's heart and show's us just how strong and pure-hearted he is (because, unfortunately I do feel the other games portray him as a rather 2-Dimensional character, well at least when on Disney worlds, KH3D and KH1 give him a lot of character in his strife, because he faced more emotional turmoil which I felt was lacking in KH2 since his main goal was mostly to defeat the organization, even after saving Kairi he wasn't that vibrant) and I was very impressed by it, I mean this incarnation of him literally went to Hell and back for friends he hardly knew, lost his memory and did it again while being emotionally tested. People don't realize how strong a person Sora is, even if he were to lose Riku and Kairi I'm sure he'd still move on for their sake, and even fight God to make things right.

Wait how would that be a punch in the gut? Regardless 2.5 will have different content than 1.5 (Because I seriously doubt they'll put the same games in 2.5 plus everything else) If anything that's be great because then you could just dive straight into it, it's not like buying 2.5 and 1.5 will suddenly become obsolete, that's like saying buying KH2 will take away any reason to play KH1. I mean yeah the final mix versions make their originals obsolete, but what you're saying makes absolutely no sense, in fact it would be smart for SE to dive right into 2.5, people will buy regardless. And trust me, though Japan may get 2.5 when 1.5's only been here for a little while, it will be translated, at least I'm totally sure, anyways.

Going to have to play devils advocate here, all those beings he's beat are magical which he would've been stomped by if it weren't for one magical weapon, the keyblade. Though he's been shown to be very resilient, with great defensive capabilities I doubt his offense would be anything without it and guess who he's fighting? A senior keyblade master who's keyblade is most likely way more powerful than his, as an old man Xehanort was able to hold his own against Terra, who I'm pretty sure is physically superior to Sora (but outclassed in speed and magic, with Ven and Aqua outclassing Sora in their specific area) just imagine him at his peak, and yes I know Riku beat a youthful Xehanort, but that incarnation lacked a lot of experience and doubt was anywhere near his peak. Also with Kingdom Hearts, which manifests literally the power of millions of peoples' souls (which even at their minimum like in Fullmetal Alchemist a single soul as been shown to be presumably equal to a freaking mountain, which by the way outclass skyscrapers; Sora's main strength feat; at least ten times, and I'm pretty sure they're much denser) if Xehanort finally managed to control it he'd easily outclass even the combined might of all the current keyblade wielders, or the seven lights. Not only will he be fighting someone with the potential of a genie, but without the crippling weakness Heartless, Nobodies, and various magical beings share of the keyblade. Everyone Sora's fought were either at least mountain buster or very power but magical. Sure he's beaten most the Organization on his own but remember they were Nobodies, not to say I'm not confident Sora could also beat their original incarnations which I am, but Xehanort said he wants to make them him which'll make them potential artificial keyblade wielders, Sora actually has a lot coming for him.

Having to play the gummi ship mini game EVERY TIME I want to go to another world, that and if we can't skip cutscenes, battling Dark Riku and Ursula (original, not giant) hated having to watch that 10 minute cutscene EVERY TIME I rematched Dark Riku.

Idk, I guess I just wanted a numerical order, which would be that way. As well as which would be the best way it'd probably be III, because 1.5 and 2.5 won't be original games like KH and KHII, KHIII will so it categorizes with the originals better. If there's a KH3.5 then that would categorize with 1.5 and 2.5. Also doesn't KH have an entire organization dedicated to roman numerals? lol

Well think about it, which one of these is symmetrical: a. I-1.5-II-2.5-3 or b. I-1.5-II-2.5-III Well obviously b. so I think it'll most likely be a roman numeral, that and I mean they do it for Final Fantasy so why stray off the path?

Yeah, I believe all they did was update some models with newer ones, which they did for KH1 too, at least I think, I'm not entirely sure, oh that and HD.

Well it's definitely not "natively" backwards compatible which means anything that's a disc not made for PS4 will not play, meaning unless you bought all your games on PSN you're not going to be able play them in the future, at least unless Sony decides to be cool and make it so your PS3 can register what games you bought and make a digital copy for your PS4, but there'd be so many issues with that I really doubt it.

Well I really hope so, I want the whole Xehanort saga to be on PS3, and maybe remade on the PS5 in HHDD after a few sagas lol but in all seriousness, I'll be okay if KH3's on the PS4, since it'll just build my incentive to buy one (even though not being backwards compatible is really irking me) but I'd really love for it all to be on the PS3 taking advantage of almost every feature/memory/power of the PS3.

KH3 will most likely be for PS3, I just hope KH4 can see light in the PS4.

I severely doubt KH will be making it to the PS4 anytime soon after it's release, I mean did Re:CoM make it to the PS3? No, which honestly was a good idea, a lot of people bought the PS3 hoping to someday play KH on it, and with KHHD 1.5 coming for the PS3 hopefully having a good chunk of KH games on it will drastically increase it's lifespan. I don't want to buy a PS4 just to play KH (even though I've done similar before; I'm looking at you BBS) saying I won't though is an understatement. I just hope after KHHDs 1.5 and 2.5 and KH3 they take a semi-short break before working on a new saga, which I hope'll be on the PS4. KH2 didn't get a proper sequel for nearly the entire life span of it's next-gen main console, so I just hope KH4 can plant KH's foundation for the PS4 early.

Okay so as many of you may know the PS4 has recently been announced, and it has been pointed out it will NOT BE BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE with any PS3 games, well there goes the chance of me buying it before the price drop So yeah my fellow fans before buying the PS4 it will most definitely not be able to play KHHD 1.5 which actually had me VERY disappointed Would've loved to have been able to play KH in HD on the most up to date console. Also does anyone think KH3 will still be made for the PS3? I wish it'll be for PS4 just so it could take advantage of the up-to-date technology, but I just know it'll be PS3 and that's also a little disappointing save I don't have to buy a PS4 to play it. I mean the same thing happened with KH Re:CoM with it coming out right after the PS3 and I already sold my PS2. All I know is if KHHD 2.5 is made it better be for PS3 because I've bought a console solely to play KH (PSP for BBS) but I don't want to do it for the PS4 because I already have negative feelings about it. Welp it looks like I'm stickin' to the good ol' PS3. Honestly I wouldn't mind paying a couple hundred dollars extra for the hardware added to a PS4 for the PS3 but I guess that's just greedy business, I don't know, I just feel Sony's already making a couple of mistakes and they just announced the thing. I think there's a chance some PS3 games'll work, but only off the Playstation Network, and last time I checked Square didn't exactly like putting their games on the virtual market (I.E. KH BBS and the PS Vita) and even then the chance is slim. All I know is Sony's already making some big mistakes like not making the PS4 "natively" backwards compatible, because otherwise I'd have no problem any possible way, but I want the KHHDs to be on the same system as KH3, I don't have the money to splurge nor do I want to deal with the hassle of using two different consoles of the same family, it's more Sony's fault for this dilemma than Square's but I have a bad feeling Square's going to get a lot of blame for either having KH3 on the PS3 or having mixed games (the KHHDs and KH3) on different consoles. Also a little side note, but does anyone else kind of find it sad that KH2 didn't get a proper sequel throughout one of its main system's generation's entire life span? tl;dr: PS4 won't play KHHD 1.5, how do you feel about it?
