KHDays Why did the organization make Xion?
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Demyx.'s topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I don't think the Organization realized Xehnaort's purpose, so they were trying to create Kingdom Hearts unaware they'd all turn into Xehanorts. -
So I own Re;CoM, and beat it with Riku quite easily, and then proceeded to level him to max. I had a fair bit more Attack Power, and HP, but mostly my darkness had increased. I then fought Ansem and got beaten hardcore. Again. And again. And Again. It took me 6 tries to beat a boss I had beaten on my first try when I was less than half of my present level. So I'm wondering, does Ansem get stronger the higher my DArkness is, because that would make sense story-wise and explain how he got so strong. I'm pretty sure he has more HP bars than he used to, unfortunately it was basically a moth between battles, so I can't be sure, so I'm wondering, does anyone know if he gets stronger based on Riku's DP?

KHDays Why is Days generally disliked?

Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000105 EndHTML:0000017250 StartFragment:0000002295 EndFragment:0000017214 I’d just like to start with a thank you for replying in a clear, calm, and concise manner. -
What I really want to happen to Sora in KH 3.
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Raziel's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Roxas is not Sora. That's not cool. The rest is fine, but they are separate individuals. -
I know there are a lot of theories about who will be our Guardians of Light and who our 13 Darknesses, so I decided a poll of all the possibilities was in order. So please select the 7 Keyblade Wielders (or potential Keyblade wielders) you think will protect the light, and the 13 who will comprise the Darkness. I realize the Darkness includes known members, I consider it an easy way to see if people are being serious about this. I put it in alphabetical order so there's no bias in the list (or as close as I can come), and if I missed a realistic option please tell me, and I'll add it.

KH3D Is it possible MX knows that Lea...*spoilers*
Gambler'sApprentice replied to MyDixieRect's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I'd say it's a definate yes that Xehanort knows he can, sense the requirements for becoming a humaniform Nobody is the same for wielding a Keyblade, and he probably suspects that he will learn, but he might not have expected him to learn how to use it so quickly. -
KHDays Why is Days generally disliked?
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Abyss's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I'd just like to say I don't think Days is the best game, or that it doesn't have flaws, but it is pivotal to the series, and its plot and characterization always felt believable, if not what I necesarily wanted. -
Master Xehanort and Terra-Xehanorts completion
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Helios X's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I think Terranort is still out there, there was no point in Xehanort taking over Terra if he was going to go back to being his old self. -
What I really want to happen to Sora in KH 3.
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Raziel's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Xehanort might do something like this to 'prove' Sora's now on his side, and force Sora to fight his friends. And convince Sora his friends have turned against him for falling into darkness in 3Ds. -
Granted, but you forget that you are one. I wish for a batarang.

The biggest problem with this game is how long it drags out, without anything changing as you go through. The worlds all repeat the same message, 'Sora, this isn't a good idea' given in little 3 part chunks The card game style would be OK were it not for all the time that has to be spent constructing a good deck, which often won't work on the bosses. The actual CO plot is excellent though, and that's what drives it, watching Sora go from entering this castle to find Riku to ditching Donald and Goofy to find Naminé is amazing. But what does the most damage is its zero replay value. Some individual parts are fun and worth re-watching or fighting, but all the stuff that has to happen before hand makes it not worth it. And once you've completed Sora's story all that's left is to get some special cards and sleights. There's no extra bosses, there's no trophies to earn, there's no cutscene, you beat the game, and that's it. Rebirth is better, and is what the game could have been, and then a simple, but decent game. This game is quick, you enter a world, fight some Heartless, beat its boss, and that's it. The final floor only has like 4 rooms, as opposed to Sora's which had over 25. The worlds didn't have any plot, aside from the fact that Riku will battle the darkness. The card game isn't as much of a pain, you don't have to fiddle with your deck, or worry about having the right sleights lines up or getting a better one so you have to scrap it all, by the second floor you've got all your abilities, and it doesn't require any more effort. Again the best part is the CO plot, going from Riku trying to remove his own darkness, to accepting and embracing it as part, but not all, of himself. Unfortunately unless you are a huge fan of Zexion or Lexaeus there is almost no reason to replay this, which is a shame since this is the easiest replay option.

KH3D (Spoilers) Why haven't Ventus and Aqua aged?
Gambler'sApprentice replied to CJ Smith's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Ven not aging makes sense, he's asleep in a magical castle with his heart flitting about all over the place. But time passes in the RoD unless we're told otherwise, so maybe Aqua took a nap like Riku did in the start of CoM? -

I don't want Donald and goofy still, how about all the Keyblade wielders are sent to all sorts of worlds fighting Heartless, and you never know which one is going to be on your team when you go there. I'd like Wonderland to come back, as well as Shibuya/Traverse Town, the rest I don't care as much except as often as fighting the Krakken would be, Port Royal isn't much fun. Unless Luxord's there. then I am totally not leaving. Ever. Getting some Pixar worlds would be cool I liked KHII's Keyblades in general, throw out some of the wierd ones and give each character a few personalized ones and I'd call it good.

Axel has died once, watch the cutscenes and you can totally see him portal off in CoM and KHII.

KH3D Xehanort's Fatal Flaw? *spoilers*
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Gambler'sApprentice's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Well Xion didn't just die, she returned to Sora, so her heart is in there and Roxas was put in there by DiZ, so his notes should allow them to figure out how to undo that.Naminé joined willingly with Kairi, but if they can't think of anything else they could free Kairi's heart and allow Naminé to come back. -
Let me just say I am about as far from a Sora fanboy as you can get, but this theory is absurd. We do not know when Vanitas took on Sora's appearance, except that it happened before the final portion of Birth by Sleep, before that we've only seen him with his mask. We have seen young Sora (6 i believe) and Vanitas, who looks like older Sora. So unless he was waiting in hibernation until Sora was old enough to look like him, your theory is flawed. The Keyblade is the single greatest Deus ex Machina known to man, an quadriplegic could master it in a day if the plot required it* He was able to use three Keyblades because he had the hearts of 4 Keyblade wielders in him, Roxas, Ven, Xion, and himself, so he could probably use 4. Maybe he'll use all the Ultima Keyblades at once. And they knew when to enact the plan, because Yen Sid is predictable, he'll send them to free the Sleeping Worlds as soon as possible. Yay! my favorite part of your argument. Sora's the prison, not the imprisoner. The piece of scum who imprisoned hearts in Sora is DiZ. He's basically pure evil. But as for not caring about the Nobodies... Yeah, that's just plain evil, but I think it proof as it being Sora, Vanitas has more of a conscience. *Also, technically as Sora isn't a master he hasn't mastered it.

Creating a Nobody version of oneself is fairly common, it's just a fan thing if you saw it in a signature or similar. -
