  1. It's not so much "I need more sleep" as it is "I should go to bed sooner".
  2. Agreed. I would even be okay with them passing off the franchise to another developer made of fans that understand the series, which is what Sucker Punch did with Sly Cooper.
  3. I will believe this game exists when I am looking at the start screen as it sits in my Playstation 3-4.
  4. If we're basing this on our forum names I suppose mine would just be an Excel spreadsheet of some sort.
  5. I nominate Vanitas! (even though he's more connected to Ventus, I know.) Otherwise I'll go with the tried and true original Sora.
  6. Link to the teaser trailer: From Gameinformer: "Insomniac Games and Rainmaker Studios have announced that a Ratchet and Clank movie is coming to theaters in 2015. The film will feature the voice cast of the video games, with a script written by Insomniac senior writer TJ Fixman. Here is the plot description according the the official press release announcing the movie: "Ratchet and Clank tells the story of two unlikely heroes as they struggle to stop a vile alien named Chairman Drek from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy. Ratchet is the last of his kind – a foolhardy 'lombax' who has grown up alone on a backwater planet with no family of his own. Clank is a pint-sized robot with more brains than brawn. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets, they must join forces with a team of colorful heroes called The Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy. Along the way they’ll learn about heroism, friendship, and the importance of discovering one’s own identity." Rainmaker Studios recently released the film Escape From Planet Earth, but for the most part, its work has been straight-to-DVD films based on pre-existing franchises like Barbie and Casper. The studio has also worked assorted CGI animated television shows like ReBoot and Beast Wars: Transformers." What do you guys think about this? I'm personally excited that the Ratchet and Clank franchise is going to continue, though the plot synopsis seems to alter a lot of the established story. Still, I have hopes that this movie will feel less like an extended cutscene and more like a proper animated film.
  7. Nope, but I don't import anything so it's never really come up anyway.
  8. No. The central (generally unspoken) purposes of an always-on system is to prevent piracy or to eliminate used game sales. Piracy only exists in a fraction of the console gaming market, and used game sales are already limited by the online-passes and Day 1 DLCs out there. Nothing is gained through having an always-on console that couldn't be achieved through an "occasionally-on" console other than you being prevented from playing your game how you'd like.
  9. Childhood: Spyro the Dragon, Pokemon Red/Blue, Crash Bandicoot Warped Teenage-hood: Star Wars Battlefront, the "PS2 Trinity": Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter Young Adulthood: Mass Effect, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption Life: Kingdom Hearts
  10. Hmm. Well, I hope that the go back to the KH1 plot formula, where the plot of the movies is more alluded to than the centerpiece of the adventure or isn't strictly followed. I'd like to see how the worlds handle a resurgence of Heartless under Xehanort's return, or the big bads of the worlds uniting again in some fashion. More to your point, I don't think they'll mine many of the Disney movie sequels. They're not as iconic, and if they're desperate for plot devices they could probably just make up better ones than the events of the sequels.
  11. I mean, for a billion dollars maybe, but only because I would be set for life. You're basically asking to give up something that has altered every facet of modern human society in some fashion, and it's only going to become more prevalent in the future. It's like asking a person a century ago to never use anything with electricity for the rest of their lives in exchange for money.
  12. I never had the game, but I remember being oddly fascinated by it. I thought the art for the characters looked cool, and considered getting it. I think other PS2 franchises demanded my dollars at the time.
  13. I'm really hoping this gets fixed in KHIII. I feel a bit too much like I'm on an empty set rather than a brought-to-life Disney world. Agrabah should be bustling with street shoppers, Land of Dragons should have a full city of citizens, and the Colosseum shouldn't be home to a crowd of invisible spectators.
  14. It's been a long while, probably because I'm no longer living on a college campus.
  15. Since we don't have any official information about the next Xbox yet I can't rule out getting it, but I'm definitely going to get a PS4.
  16. I still play my PS2 favorites; Kingdom Hearts, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and God of War. I actually would be playing Kingdom Hearts right now if I weren't waiting for the HD ReMix.
  17. Whatever I'm playing at the time. I remember Mass Effect in particular provided a much needed stress relief/escape.
  18. I was just about to say... I seem to remember Ash specifically requesting a hamburger in one of the old episodes, so I'm guessing no.
  19. I've never been worried that Sony doesn't support variety. Just now I stopped playing some Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and was thinking "This game is great, and I don't think the other platforms would've supported it the way Sony has." Whether or not that's true I don't know, but I do know that I can count on Xbox for shooters, Nintendo for icons, and Playstation for both, and usually most things in between. (NOT bashing any system, just stating my personal outlook)
  20. Everything else in stores has an Angry Bird on it already, not surprised that TV is next.
  21. The only thing I'm apprehensive about is the lack of Rocksteady, though in the video Gameinformer made the developers said first thing that they realize they've been handed a series with excellent pedigree. Hopefully they'll live up to it. In other news, Deathstroke!
  22. I'll get one eventually, but my PS3 still has plenty of life left in it so I'm in no hurry.
