As a child Ash Ketchum was a prominent character for me as he was fearless, determined, pure-hearted and generally cool. Belle was also a childhood favourite because I liked her kindness, courage, desire for adventure and the fact that she most resembles me physically out of all the Disney princesses. As a teenager (and still now) Hinata affected me a lot because I identified with her shyness and aspired to be like her as she learned to overcome her weaknesses and never gave up. Naruto for similiar reasons to Ash as well as his ability to change the people around him for the better Finally Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle as he was completely selfless, kind, polite and willing to suffer any pains and give up everything he had to save the person most important to him. I could go on and talk about Kairi, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Honda Tohru etc. but I don't want to take up the entire computer screen.

I always watch subbed animé series these days (though I first got into animé by watching Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh etc. in English) however if it's a Studio Ghibli film I tend to watch the newer ones in English, eg. Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away, but the older ones, eg. Laputa: Castle In the Sky, in Japanese. Partly it depends on how good the dub is and which version I watched first.

Nomura has also described him as being an 'ordinary boy' in at least one of his interviews: Nomura : I thought a lot about whether Sora was to become Keyblade Master or not. But because I always wanted Sora to relate to the players, if he became Master, it would have meant he would have really reached a very high level and it is not yet ready for it, and we do not want that to happen. The decision to not make Sora a Keyblade Master was not really difficult, but I thought it was better that he remains an ordinary boy to be closer to the players.

As I expected. Oh well, second place is still something I can be proud of Congratulations FurySpark! Sadly though I won't be here for next year's competition as I'll be in New Zealand from next month until October 2015 on a church teaching mission with very limited internet access (which is going to kill me!). But I hope to participate in the 2016 one! Hopefully by then we'll have kh3 footage to use as well

Almost didn't think I'd make it in time! I hope you're going by an American time zone Sora96 because it's already 1:30am on Sunday morning where I am! Here's my entry for the finals anyway. It's not quite as polished as I'd have liked because I ran out of time and I very much doubt it's enough to beat FurySpark but I did my best so I'll be happy whatever the outcome. Hope you like it!

Nice choice of songs! Though I would personally add in Beauty and the Beast. I just have to hear the beginning music and my heart melts Other suggestions would be I'm Still Here (Treasure Planet), When Will My Life Begin Reprise (Tangled), Hawaiian Rollarcoaster Ride (Lilo and Stitch), No Way Out (Brother Bear) and Just Around the Riverbend (Pocahontas). I can't do a top ten because they're all so good!
