Ferro watched her run away. He didn't try to stop her at all, since she couldn't possibly know anything about him. The Espeon would only be able to tell what kind of person he was, and not what any of his plans were. Ferro kept his pace on the road back toward the power plant.

"So this is what you do every morning. Come out here and, and selfishly raise your own level!" Severa stared with eyes that looked angered, hurt. Betrayed, even. "I thought you cared about the team. I - I thought you. . ." Tears came to her eyes, and she turned around furiously.

Ferro combed through the folders at lightning speed. 700 folders, 500 folders, 100, 10, 1. . . There it was! The virus, in all its lethal perfection. Ferro suddenly had an appreciation for just how amazing and powerful the virus was. He spent a millisecond admiring it, then grabbed it, and unleashed it. He felt it move through the station, the blast itself outward. And Ferro felt it move through him. Deleting things. Deleting Ferro. All he could do before he ceased to exist was create a small transmission and lodge it in Alex's holo-comm, for him to find later. And then, 11010101011010101001010011010101011 010111 101101 "Goodbye."

As the tentacle came for Ferro, he side-stepped, dashed to the base of the tentacle, and cut off the whole thing. The second tentacle going for the Boulder was simply grabbed. Dane kept his hold on it, but soon began to be dragged around. Then, with a great jerk, the tentacle broke free of his grasp and sank under the ground, as did the rest of the tentacles. A loud hissing filled the air, then a sound like an elephant being strangled. Maybe a mile off to one side, a great shape breached the earth. It was perhaps the size of a large building, covered in bony plates, with numerous tentacles trailing from one end. The other end had a vicious point. Two rows of strange tube-things sprouted out of either side of its massive bulk, and as it arced skyward, the tubes spit out globs of black stuff. The globs hung in the air a moment, then began whizzing toward the small group as the Sutherrus slipped into the soil once again.

Harth leaped the last few feet from the mountain pass to the wide stone circle he now saw. This must be the House of the Joker, he thought. Other Alices would be here soon. . . Harth licked his lips. He pressed his hands together so the two diamonds imprinted on them touched, and when he opened them, a single metal diamond floated in the air. Then there were two, four, eight, sixteen, thirty-two, sixty-four, one-hundred-twenty-eight, two-hundred-fifty-six diamonds. They followed Harth as he strode onto the circle. <><><><><><><><><><> Grantham saw the end of the path up ahead, and a stone circle beyond. He took his shield off his back and strapped it onto his left arm. Proceeding shield-first, Grantham crept onto the circle.

All three of the older men stopped dead in their tracks. Ferro's bow was in his hand faster than anybody could follow, and the twins had their armor transformed the next second. Ferro launched himself up and began scanning the area around them. From the ground, the group could see him turn his head, then tense suddenly, grip his bow, and whirl it in a circle as a black shape flew at him. The shape was cut in half, and the parts began to dissolve as the fell away. Ferro quickly landed. "Sutherrus." he said breathlessly. Mike and Dane got horrified looks on the faces. Suddenly, behind them, huge black tentacles erupted from the ground. One of them rose up and then prepared to slam down on the pyro-twins. Another swept along the ground to slam Aria and Joshua. A third made for the Boulder and Bullet, and the fourth attacked Ferro.

Harth was making his way down the mountain pass away from the House of Diamonds. He went at a leisurely pace, looking around him and observing the scenery. He was planning on making a documentary of the whole deal after he came out victorious, as he knew he would. <><><><><><><><><><><><><> Grantham kept up the ground-eating pace he had maintained after leaving the castle grounds. He was not fatigued in the least, even after marching for an hour and a half. He gripped his sword in his hand, with his shield strapped onto his back. As he walked, one could observe (if indeed anybody was there to observe) that he occasionally rippled with color. He stared grimly at the road ahead. (Quick question: do these people know they are in a nightmare?

Gift: Grantham has the gift of multiplicity. He is not, as it seems, comprised of one body. He actually consists of six semi-real bodies and one real one. Each of his colored bodies can interact with the physical world on a limited scale. The bodies can only be a few feet from each other, so he cannot send them out to do different things. All the bodies can phase through each other and also exist inside each other. Only the real body can be harmed. The next Alice was a white(red[magenta]blue[cyan]green[yellow]) one.

Ferro sensed Rija at the top of the elevator shaft. He sent the elevator up for her, once again at high speeds. "Get in and brace yourself!" Meanwhile Ferro continued to race to find the virus. He had narrowed its location down to several hundred folders. . .

Ferro sensed an incredibly large amount of energy being gathered between the SA flagships. He closed the doors and accelerated the elevator down the shaft. Faster than it was supposed to be moved. So fast the Alex was thrown upward and held against the ceiling. Near the bottom, Ferro slowed the elevator so that Alex's landing was soft-ish. Then he retracted his data down the shaft. He quickly began racing through the computer systems to find the virus he needed. "Alex! Get Genesys up and running!"

I has a question. Some of these powers seem like they could completely shut down other players cough telekinesis cough. Will my diamonds, for example, be able to be grabbed by somebody, like, for instance, completely hypothetically, using telekinesis?
