Spore held his blade low and parried, the blow ringing off his weapon. Then he crouched and leaped past his opponent's right side, performed a neat turnaround, and lunged at the person's back. At the last second, he dropped into a roll, got right underneath his foe, and brought his sword up to slash them across the stomach.

A bald man watched the proceeding from his perch on a parapet of the Red Hawk wall. He wore a black cowl, and perched as if he were some kind of bird. His nose was rather hookish, lending itself even further towards giving him the look of a raven. "May God send a blight of ravens to eat the crops of the wicked." he intoned in a dull voice to himself.

"Thanks! I appreciate it." Ferro said as he pocketed the small object. "I suppose you should stand by and await further orders. I don't have anything for you to do." Ferro looked up at the sky for a second. "Well, why don't you go to the rock tunnel outside of Lavender Town to make sure nobody is traipsing around where they shouldn't be." Ferro nodded to them both again and turned away and started walking down route 7 toward Lavender Town.

Ferro strolled leisurely down route seven, his hands in the pockets of his fleece jacket. He mainly focused on his feet, but looked up from time to time to check where he was going. He saw two people standing in the road up ahead, one with a Lunatone and the other with a Solrock. He approached the pair, nodding to each of them. "You have the thumb drive?"

Spore stood stock-still, and as the blade neared, parried with his stance-improved sword behind his back. The force of the lunge carried his opponent past, sparks screeching off steel. Even by the light of the sparks, he could not tell who his challenger was. Spore whipped his blade around and made a passing attack at his opponent's back.

Spore was surprised when the challenge came. He squinted, trying to discern who his challenger was in the failing light, but he could not. Spore hesitated for a second, the touched the blue circle, confirming the duel. The countdown timer appeared in the air between the two, and Spore readied his blade. His first stance would activate in twenty seconds. . . Ten seconds. . . 5 4 3 2 1 START

Ferro's face darkened as the people spoke, until it was livid. "You- you dare tell me my cause is a poor one!?" Something seemed to click behind Ferro's eyes. Or maybe snap is a better description. "The masters are calling. They are calling for your blood. And I will have it. . . Soon." Ferro quickly teleported away, the tentacles retreating underground and the ice disappearing. Back at the safety of his wall, Ferro entered a trance-like state, going rigid and mumbling under his breath occasionally.

What about electric type moves? Are they also affected? I would say they recharge, considering they don't need to plug themselves into anything after fights. I would say they also draw on ambient electricity to use powers, so they should only have a certain amount of power. If the electricity still worked, they would recharge fast enough in battle to use moves many times, but because they can't, they are limited.

Ferro ducked and rolled past Orion's downward stroke, coming to his feet behind him. He did not turn and attack, however, but continued running toward the Gold Lion wall. He used teleports to gain distance, then gestured with his hand. He wasn't through with Akane yet. Tentacles grabbed her arms and legs, forcing her into the air and restraining her. Ferro used more tentacles to lift himself up next to her, and held a claw up to her throat. "Anything to say before a kill the girl?" he asked Orion gleefully. If he couldn't have one corpse, he would have another.
