  1. Aura: There was enough suffering already. I had to take all those deaths away from my mind. It reminds me of...home.
  2. I was thinking about the past of my characters and, for some reason, I thought what would Aura do that she doesn't want anyone to know about. Then I realized that she is seen as someone really impulsive and reckless, and never shares what's going on inside her mind, but she put those feelings into paintings. Although, she's never been seen painting by anyone but her mother, Aulea, or her brother. I like how this came out. It shows a more tender side of dear Aurora
  3. - Rabiyu and Sifrei - Mystran Encampment - Apparently, Henry believed the same thing as Rabiyu regarding the potential threat that Yevgeni could pose, this was a good sign in her eyes, but there was also the fact that he knew of this mysterious assassin. Meeting with both Yevgeni and this assassin was a possibility, one that, at least her, wished to take advantage of. "It will be my honor to accompany you, Your Lordship," Rabiyu said while bowing slightly, "As for the city, it will remain protected in our absence by your spellcasters, if they follow my instructions. The arcane barrier guarding the city at the moment is strong and it will hold against a great amount of damage, but I hope Kilkis Seres do not try that kind of tactic." The Archangel gave the Lord of Mystras the same gesture as his elven compatriot, a small bow to signal his understanding of his mission. "It will be done, Your Lordship. I will try my best to avoid any confrontation with possible soldiers of Kilkis Seres, or anyone suspicious. I will give a report via astral projection when the time comes. I have an understanding of your arcane aura, just like I know that of the Judge Magister, so finding you will be no problem. As I said before, Mariel will be coming with me, but worry not, I will try my best to keep her away from harm's way, if possible." Sifrei then heard the familiar voice of Mariel and nodded at her comment. "We have our orders, when you feel ready, we can be on our way towards Lake Kresnik," Sifrei said to Mariel, "Our winged friend is outside, waiting for us."
  4. - Aether and Aurion - Outside the Palace - "What?" Aurion said, still confused, "What are you-" "Deal," Aether said, "Aurion tell the lady what she wants to hear." Aurion finally got up and dusted himself, this was getting weired and weirder with each passing moment. "W-Why? I do not have any interest in lea-" "Yeah, yeah. Just tell her what she wants to know." "W-Well, he introduced himself as Xilus, but I doubt that was his real name. Dark hair, pale skin. Not that usual from those who live in this world," Aurion said, "He seemed nice, for a noble, I mean. Nobles aren't usually that nice with us "peasants". He apparently didn't know this was a party for the emperor...and that's it. That's all I know. "There you have it," Aether said to the renegade soldier, "Now, before we go, answer me these two questions. Who are you? and what is your true purpose? If we are going to work together for the time being, I would like to know who am I working with."
  5. - Aura - Near Mystran encampment - With Helios - Aura felt tired for some unknown reason, she had felt strange since the time she woke up. First the amount of food she had eated was way more than she actually had before, she could listen and see better than before, she could smell scents in the wind. What was happening to her, she wondered. And yet the warm rays of the sun let her drift away into slumber. ---------------------------- It was another peaceful day in the town of Daenonia. Mother had said that it was almost time to harvest the crops, a couple of weeks at most. Since it was a calm day Aura had asked her big brother to read her a story, he was always reading those books in his spare time, so she was sure that he would agree, and agree he did. Under the shade of a tree Aurion began to tell the tale of the ancient creatures known as the Great Drakes, how they were created by the gods to watch over the world and the other creatures that lived in the world. Aura never really understood why Aurion loved to read about such creatures, they sounded scary! the other girls from town also told stories about how dragons kidnapped girls and took them to their towers. One time Aurion told her a very interesting story, one related to one of his favorite legends. The story of one of the first Great Drakes, of a dragoness called, well, he always made some weird sounds, but then he said that her name translated to Valdra. The story spoke of how Valdra had her first hatchling, who she loved beyond any spoken word. Happy were the moments she had with her small one, until one fateful day. Humans, the youngest of the gods's creations thought that slaying a dragon would bring them fame and fortune, such was the tale told among the young race. A human male waited until Valdra wasn't around and he took the life of the hatchling without hesitation, bringing back his small horns and a small fortune in gold and jewels as a trophy for everyone to see, all of it so the heart of a young maiden could be his. Aurion told her that Valdra was so heartbroken for the loss of her little one that in revenge, on one moonless night, she took human form and made her way into the room of the young maiden while she slept. With her control over magic she transformed the maiden into one of her own, and when the new dragoness woke up and destroyed her room on her confusion, her beloved saw no girl, but a dragon who had destroyed their home. The dragoness tried to explain who she was, but humans were not able to understand the tongue of the dragons, as she fleed, the young man swore that he would find the dragon and take its life, just like it had taken the life of her love. Through many months of travel, the Dragoness met with a young wizard who helped her reach the Northern mountains were the dragons were said to live. As they were close to their destination the man finally caught up with the dragoness and the young wizard, she was injured, but in the end managed to reach the council of the ancient ones, thanks to the help of the wizard, but the injuries were severe and just as the man was going to give the last strike, the dragoness returned to her human form. The man, who was ashamed of his actions, saw another dragoness approaching, the familiar sight of Valdra. For the first time in history the Dragoness spoke in the tongue of the humans. "You took my most precious treasure, and now, by your own hand, that what you wished was yours has been taken away." The human apologized for what he had done to her, and pleaded for help for the young maiden. Valdra had already healed the maiden, and she was horrified by what she heard. The man, ashamed of his acts, accepted whatever punishment he was going to recieve. Valdra used her fire breath to engulf the human, and by arcane means, the man transformed into her small one, her most precious treasure. Valdra, in her mercy, forgave the maiden and the wizard, she even apologized by her actions, but the maiden thanked her because she learned of her love's true colours, and, in turn, had found a real partner in the wizard. The Dragons saw the greed of humans and chose to leave the land, others choose to remain close, but never to interact with humans, unless absolutely necessary. By Valdra and the Council's arcane powers the land of the North was said to have raisen into the sky, never to be seen by humans again. Aura had gained a sudden respect for dragons that day. Maybe they weren't that bad, but it also made her think about the stories of the princesses that were kidnapped by dragons. Aurion always smiled and told her that dragons were no longer around, not since a long, long time ago, and only stories of such creature remained. The sun was already going down and Mother called both siblings for supper. Aura took her brother's hand and both began the trek back home. ------------------------------ Aura was woken up by the rays of sunlight in her face. The faint sound of rustling of leaves and the wind made her feel relaxed. She looked at Helios and smiled, he looked so peaceful in his sleep, which was a good thing in her eyes. Aura closed her eyes once again and allowed sleep take her, there was still time left, after all. Maybe, just maybe, she would dream of better times with her brother and mother.
  6. Maybe they buy new content so they have something to complain about.
  7. - Rabiyu and Sifrei - Mystran Encampment - "And even though it seems impossible, Yevgeni and myself met with these humans. Three of them, two males and one female, mercenaries by the look of it." Rabiyu said to Raiden, "I thought it was strange that they mistook Yevgeni for the Crown Prince, even though Prince Jynn's face is widely known to the dwellers of these lands. There is also the fact that I did not sense any kind of arcane energy around those three. No magic whatsoever. They just asked for job and Yevgeni was happy to oblige. " Rabiyu closer her eyes and tried to remember what the strange trio looked like. Sifrei, on the other hand, was concerned that these group was apparently unaccounted for. "If this is true and Yevgeni Malichite used this group to steal the Feyslayer then we should investigate," Sifrei said to Rabiyu, "Don't you think so too, Judge Magister?" "I have my suspicions. Yevgeni wanted secrecy, that the fact that he wished for that dagger remained unknown, but like Lord Raiden said, that is not proof enough," she said calmly, "The dagger could have been stolen from him, I didn't saw him again after that night when I asked for an audience with Lord Raiden. Nor am I completely sure that Yevgeni actually got the blade." Both Judges listened to what Raiden had to say, and both agreed that more information was needed to make him a suspect. Rabiyu began to think to the time she had seen Yevgeni on the battlefield. "I met Yevgeni on the battlefield for a moment. He said that neither your or Shiva's way were correct, but that there was a third option." Rabiyu said, "And, pray tell, what is that option? What does Yevgeni Malachite think?" Sifrei asked. "He said that his option would allow the peaceful and good humans a chance at true unity among fey, not a false dream of two worlds living in harmony. But," Rabiyu hesitated for a moment, "but what he said next worries me. He said that should the queen not conform to his ideals, he had means to enforce them." "Interesting, very interesting," Sifrei said, "It seems that Yevgeni Malachite has plans of his own regarding the feys and humans." "As you see, Your Lordship, while the act of stealing the feyslayer may not be enough to cast suspicion on Yevgeni, I have reasons to believe there is a connection between what happened to the Frostbearer and him," Rabiyu said while looking at Raiden, "Perhaps this assassin was sent by him, perhaps not, but there is something wrong with Yevgeni, we must keep an eye on him. Rabiyu remained silent for a moment, thinking about what she could do to learn more about Yevgeni's plans. "He said that we still had things to discuss. If I am allowed to accompany you to Kilkis Seres it is probable that Yevgeni will ask to see me. Perhaps we could use this chance to learn more, leak a small amount of information regarding our objectives to earn his trust and make him think that I am on his side. This, of course, is up to you, Your Lordship."
  8. Congrats on the newest addition to your family, friends! That was a surprise, but a great suprise to be honest! Take all the time you need, we understand that having a child means a lot of your time will be needed to take care of them.
  9. I wish you all the good luck I can muster, Sora! I hope you can find a job you really like.
  10. - Aether and Aurion - Outside the Palace - Aurion was very confused right now. Everything was moving in slow motion, he felt that he was being pulled backwards while watching as Aether began to run forwards. The Assassin keept her eyes on the first soldier before she began to attack her "companions" and she noticed that something was not right, her feeling turned out to be true. As she ran she watched as one of the two soldiers went down while the other managed to block the female's punch. "Wait!" Aurion said, "What are you doing?" When Aether was close enough, she threw a dagger that was hidden among her skirt at the guard. "Hey! Over here!" Aether said to the guard, "look behind you!" The young Assassin then performed a front flip, she was going to try and kick the guard from behind so the female guard could take care of the rest.
  11. Rabiyu: Do not try to make sense of chaos, Henry. Just embrace it. You will have more fun that way. Sif: *sprinkles holy water on Rabs* Rabiyu: I told you, I'm the real deal. Second Armor, you know nothing about the new generation! Sif: *bows* Please, forgive her. She is not in the best state of mind.
  12. Rabiyu: *reach behind her back and grabs her long braid. It's almost knee long.* Worry not, Henry! He is going to stuff it inside that empty can over his shoulders. A wig would suit him. The question is: Does white hair suits him? Besides, it's been centuries since the last time I had a pixie haircut. I kinda miss it. Sifrei: *pulling Rabs from behind* Come, Eli. It's time to take your meds again. Rabiyu: I do not need any meds, Sif! This is me! The real me! Better than the stuffy, quiet elf, if I say so myself.
  13. Rabiyu: Silly Armor, I do not have a soul anymore, but sometimes I like to pretend I do!
  14. What I want to know is this. We will be able to make deals? With backward messages and all that?
  15. - Rabiyu and Sifrei - Mystran encampment - A Feyslayer? Now there was a name Sifrei knew too well for his own good. Rabiyu on the other hand? knew little of these weapons. What she DID knew was when she had heard of of such weapon. Weeks ago, when the group sent by the Frostbearer arrived at Mystras, in a bar called The Flowering Hyssop, and a plan to steal a rather peculiar dagger from Raiden's vault. All of that planned by non other than Yevgeni. "A Feyslayer? There is a name I haven't heard in many centuries," Sifrei said, "I thought most of them were destroyed or sealed away, but for one to be wandering around in the hands of a mysterious assassin, it is worrisome." The augmented human was right, that could help them pinpoint the culprit, but it was not that simple. There were spells that allowed one to change appearence and if that was the case then it would be a dead end. "I think Master Henry poses a good question, Your Lordship," Sifrei said, "but let's not forget to take into consideration that a fey can change their appearance with the use of magic. His appearence may have been different." While all of this was being said Rabiyu was thinking about Yevgeni, he asked the humans to steal a dagger from Raiden, a dagger infused with lightning magic that could take down even the most powerful of fey. Apparently he was going to explain what was his plan for the weapon, until Baxter showed up, now it would remain a mystery. What would happen if Yevgeni was the one who killed the Queen? He would be considered a traitor to Kilkis Seres, he would be executed. She had to learn more about this, and the journey to Kilkis Seres with Raiden could help with such investigation. She could ask a wish to Rufus, a simple worded wish to reveal the true culprit, but she wanted to give him the freedom he wished for. She had only one choice, to share her knowledge with Raiden. "May I interrupt for a moment, Your Lordship, I think I have knowledge that could prove useful to this case," she said, "If you recall my arrival a few weeks ago, after the attack from a creature related to the Black Witch,a doom hound, I asked Master Alastor and the Infiltrator to permit me to have an audience with you. But before that, I told them about one other fey that was travelling with me, Yevgeni Malachite, who hired a stray group of humans to retrieve a weapon from your vault. Thanks to this new information I have a reason to suspect that Yevgeni Malachite of Kilkis Seres had something to do with the assessination of the Frostbearer. Either he comitted the murder or sent someone else. Perhaps you know of whom I'm speaking of. Was he, perhaps, the one who you saw last night."
  16. Mielinare: Perhaps you should work to obtain what you wish. Earn the right to walk among dragons, earn their trust and respect. Maybe one of them will deem you worthy of raising one of their offspring as your companion. You will find it will be worth the effort. Or so I've been told.
  17. Sif: I wish for peace between the two worlds. Aura: Really? Like, really? Sif: *shrugs* And the djinni's freedom, I guess. Aura: I just want a peaceful life. Nothing else. Oh! and the guy's freedom, or whatever it is that he wants. Rabs: So many candidates. Mielinare: And so little time. What will you do, Sapling? Rabs: Me? Nothing. I want to grant the poor djinni his memories and his freedom. Mielinare: There is a wish left. There must be something you desire. Rabs: I...wish...to meet my biological mother, if she is still alive somewhere. Mielinare: Oh? Is that true? Rabs: No, I want to know what happened to Baxter. The poor child probably never showed his face back in Kilkis Seres, ashamed after what he did back in Mystras. Aura: Who? Sifrei: I am curious as well. Mielinare: I could tell you, but the answer may not be pleasing. Rabs: Then I want Alicia back. She's been missing for a long while. Yes, bring her back. Or I could wish for a dragon's egg for Master Alastor, that sounds interesting. Mielinare: *looks at Rabs* Rabs: I jest.
  18. Rabs: should I give them the lamp? Mielinare: Should I keep it safe? No one would be able to get past me. Rabs: But then Rufus would be a prisoner for eternity. Mielinare: Such is the fate of all beings.
  19. Darn it. I want to make that wish, but if Rufus will be able to grant three wishes in the future then maybe Rabs will keep her hands on the lamp until that is possible. If there is a need for a wish then maybe Rabs will use it and see if there is someone else who can help Rufus. She could give the lamp to Aura or Sif too, after all.
  20. Each time I see Rufus appear my mind taunts me! Rabs wants to wish for his freedom, but she doesn't know that it takes the strenght of two wishes to help the poor djinni. Maybe I should try to wish exactly that so she can finally learn of the price for Rufus's freedom. Or maybe he just want to have his memories back and one wish would be enough to give him some amount of happiness..
  21. How about Ardyn from FFXV? I like his design.
  22. I would. I like pixel art.
  23. Not really. Actually, I'm fine with that too. I want to wait until Scrap comes back so Henry can have his chance to join Sif and Mariel, and ask Raiden whatever it is that he wants to ask. So, don't worry about me, Mariel can keep talking with Everyth if that's what you want.
