  1. - Rabiyu - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - "And what gives you the right to end all life? What gives you the right to meddle with the way others think," Rabiyu said to Nergodin, The white haired elf's bow reappeared in her hand while in the other was an arrow, she was already aiming at the new being in front of her. Odin and the Queenslayer were gone, that could only meant that this person was, in fact, both of them fused through arcane means. Rabiyu knew of such magic, although she was unable to use it, most people tended to stay away from such kind of magic. She knew that dragons used to be able to fuse together to obtain more power, or at least the ancient dragons of the frozen lands of the north could. "You will not be allowed to remake this world, nor its inhabitants. Forced unity at the cost of individual thought would only lead to a hollow life," Rabiyu said as she glanced at Aura and Sifrei, "Life is full of hardships, of sorrow, dispair, but it also has happiness and hope, you cannot have one without the other as they are two sides of the same coin. If you take that away, then life would be meaningless for everyone. But this is not a riddle isn't it? This is not about what drives us to keep moving forwards." Rabiyu looked at those around her, each and every one that had come into Isopolis to help save the world below the Sea of Clouds, each one of them had a reason to fight, the only thing that this person wanted was an answer, not an explanation. "I will stand against you and anyone who shares your goal."
  2. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - Aurion was surprised that the creature glared at him, but more importantly, it seemed that she was trying to say something, although Aurion did not understand. The chains had managed to stop the creature, or at least make her struggle for a moment. Aurion toook this opportunity to look at the Noxling more carefully. "What can I do? This is not going to stop her forever," he thought, The Noxling moved between Shala and him, as if she was trying to...protect him? But why? The creature's skin and fur stopped smoking just as the chains made contact with her. Perhaps this was a sign? She also looked as if she was trying to get under them for a moment. As a being of Darkness, or deeper into the Darkness, Noxlings would prefer the dark instead of the blinding Light. On that moment Aurion's mind made a connection. Before the Noxling transformed, sunlight had come through the clouds. Maybe that was the reason she transformed, and why she was trying to get under the chains of darkness. "Don't attack! I think I understand why this happened," Aurion said to Shala, "It's the light. She needs to be away from the light. It causes her pain and, perhaps, was the reason she transformed." From the tip of the keyblade more chains came out trying to wrap the Noxling. With enough time the chains would surround her whole body, and maybe, just maybe, make her return back to normal. - Aether - Twilight Town - "Sorry, I have the right of exclusivity with these toys. One of a kind and all that," Aether said to Kira, "My contact is, for a lack of a better word, a recluse. They like to tinker to make new stuff, but when it comes to people? That is a different story." Aether looked outside once the rear hatch was opened. The structure outside looked as a clock tower, it was interesting. "And here I thought this was a uniform," Aether said while checking the gear, "but I do not want to mess with your style, so I will take it off the moment we finish this job." The ex raven watched as Kira jumped from the shuttle and landed on a platform, a couple of seconds later she did the same. The moment she landed she took cover and scanned the area for any potential watcher.
  3. I hope we can have a Night Mode in the future.
  4. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Rabiyu managed to hear the sound of footsteps getting closer to them, and the moment she turned around she saw how Eclaire hauled Yev up. She was about to say something to Shivas's former retainer but the girl did something Rabiyu though would be impossible, she asked Yevgeni for help before letting him go. The white haired elf listened closely to what Eclaire was saying and, to some point, she was slightly impressed by the change she had. "You are a brave soul, Retainer, no, Eclaire, the Pale Mistress would be honored to guide your soul beyond the Divine Gate, I am sure. It takes a lot to push one's feelings away to do something important for the good of all. To discard hate and rage to fulfill a common goal," Rabiyu said as she dismissed her bow for a moment, "Raiden or Odin or whoever that is must not be allowed to possess the Source of All Life, no one should, but we are in need of its power, and to complete our goal we must work together to succeed." Rabiyu walked towards Rhea, a person she did not know, nor she was interested in at the moment, though there was something familiar about her. She pushed that thought aside and instead touched the spear, her mind focusing on the weapon. "I will offer you the remaining three of the four elements. Earth, Wind, and Water," She said as she closed her eyes. Something deep within the mind of the northern elf stirred from its slumber, something that only wished to return to the outside, something dark and powerful, something that knew that if the elf perished it would perish too. Instead, it tried to reach out, tried to snatch control to offer power to the foolish girl with the hero complex. Thanks to Rabiyu having her eyes closed no one would notice the change in her eyes as they turned a scarlet red color. "And you can also have my Darkness. Let its cold embrace help you succeed in that that you have planned to do," Rabiyu said as she clenched the spear, " Mond! Come here!" Before anyone could even realize it, the Archangel was already at the side of the Elf, it was like he had been there always. "Eclaire needs our help. I do not know what happened to you, or what you gave up in order to access this place, but I need you to help her. Anything to help once she is up there will suffice. The Archangel turned his head towards Eclaire and looked at her for what felt like a long time, until he walked closer to her. Sifrei reached his hand out, almost making contact with Eclaire but stopping mere inches away. While he couldn't speak, that didn't mean he couldn't perform magic, a glowing rune appeared between his stretched hand and Eclaire, it remained there for a few seconds until an almost invisible barrier formed on top of Eclaire, slowly making its way down until the former retainer's whole body was fully surrounded by it, after which it disappeared from view. Sifrei, feeling that he had done his job, disappeared and returned to Aura and the Princess. "I see...He created a barrier around your body to protect you from harm. Mond's magic is powerful, I am sure that barrier will prove useful, " Rabiyu said as she opened her eyes, now back to the normal blue tone, "We do not know what could happen once you begin, so protection, however little or much it is, should be appreciated. That is all we can offer for you and your plan. I truly hope that you are successful, and that we can stop whatever Odin is planning to do with the source. Good Luck."
  5. Final Fantasy. Wish he could have delivered his Versus Epic.
  6. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - Aurion watched as the creature, as the girl launched herself at the strange girl that appeared out of nowhere. There was little time to do something. "Watch out!" Aurion screamed, "Get away from her!" The ex-delivery boy pointed his keyblade at the creature and focused. He didn't wanted to hurt her, she looked like she had been in pain before. Instead, from the tip of his weapon multiple chains made of dark energy were shot towards the creature in an attempt to stop her from reaching Shala. - Aether - Twilight Town - "Well, there is a first time for everything," Aether said, "Am I right?" Apparently she wasn't going to get the welcoming package for joining, or attempting to join, this group, and that was fine. She preferred Luna's toys anyways. "Oh, don't worry about me, Kira," She said as she put her hand on the girl's shoulder, "I can use my own toys for the time being." A faint glowing light was blinking from her small wrist watch and continued to do so for a couple of seconds before she let go. The ex-raven then pressed two buttons at the sides of the device and her clothes slowly changed into gear similar to those that Kira was wearing, helmet included. "You have to love Lunatic's toys, they can do wonders, " She said with the same modulated voice, "A little tight, but I can get used to this. Alright Kira, I am ready to move."
  7. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Sifrei watched as Mariel charged at Odin, followed by Alastor. She looked fine now, mostly. That mean that she didn't need his help anymore, which meant he did whatever Aura had told him to do. He took a quick glance at where Aura and the princess were and quickly moved from where he was standing to behind the two girls. Aura screamed before throwing a punch at whoever stood behind them, said punch being stopped by the Archangel. "Who is-" Aura said while trying to focus her sight, "O-Oh..it's you Sifrei. Is the person who was injured safe now? Did you help them?" Sifrei offered no verbal response, only a slow nod. Aura sighed and nodded. Rabiyu listened as Soren walked closer to Yevgeni, his words giving away the way he felt towards her fellow elf. "This squabble can wait until we take care of the current threat. Raiden, or Odin, is not himself, or perhaps that is his true nature. Whatever it is, we need to put a stop to him," Rabiyu said flatly, "We can deal with each other once the bigger threat is taken care of." Rabiyu then listened to Yev as he spoke to the Prince, telling him to not get to close to Odin, as he would be needed by both humans and Kilkis Seres. Although she didn't had the Prince in high regards, she agreed with what Yevgeni said to him. They would face Raiden, Odin, themselves. The white haired elf followed Yevgeni while reaching out her hands and focusing on a spell to use against their new enemy, but the sudden winds made her lost her focus, instead she watched both Odin and Nergal. "Impossible," She said as she watched the blue aura, "Did he used the Source for a wish?"
  8. - Rabiyu and Aura - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Aura listened to the king and princess bicker about if the king should go near the battle that was happening at the moment, with the princess telling him that it would be dangerous in his current state. Aura agreed with the princess, it was certainly dangerous for the king to get closer, and without his eyesight it could prove fatal . She also could hear Helios's voice calliong Henry's name, which made her worry about both her partner and her friend, until Helios said he was fine. This made Aura let out a sigh of relief. Aura heard an unknown, yet familiar voice, and as she turned to look around she saw the figure of a woman, an old woman, judging by the voice. Apparently this was Everyth, if what the princess said was to be believed. Apparently she had also lost something, her youth. "I may not be of much use at the moment princess," Aura said, "but I will try to protect you, even if my sight is limited." Rabiyu's bow sloly went down as Yevgeni stopped next to her. She listened to what he had to say while also watching Raiden's movements. What had changed inside the once fair lord of Mystras that made him attack one of his own allies without any sign of hesitation. "Whatever his goal is now, he attacked his own ally. I am sure Henry will see that as a treason, and I do not blame him," She said to Yevgeni, "I will accept your help Yevgeni, but know that I haven't lost the hope that you can change your path. I do not want to see more bloodshed. My mind has already seen enough of it." The last part was barely a whisper, something that was only for her. With the loss of her happier memories Rabiyu only had the bad times to remember, times where others would insults her, children that would throw pebbles, or worse. It was for those reasons that she left her life in the city. To escape the pain of not remembering what she had done to deserve such hate. But she had to focus at what was going on at the moment. Raiden and the Source had to be her priority. "We will fight together for the time being, as I fear Raiden will be a tough opponent. It would be unwise to fight him alone," She said, "Let us stop him before something that we won't be able to change happens."
  9. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - What at interesting sight. The person, the girl looked like a, what was the word? Noxling? Something not that common to the Realm of Darkness, and even more so in the Realm of Light. She looked like she comprehended that he wasn't going to hurt her, and was actually reaching out her hand, a hand that was missing a finger, only for her to scream in pain as the clouds overhead gave way to some sunlight. "Woah! What is going on? She is changing!" Aurion yelled as he jumped back, "Wait! We must't hurt her. Her transformation is being triggered by something. We should find that and perhaps she will go back to normal!" Aurion took a defensive stance, just in case the creature, the girl, tried to attack him, but he was looking around the place to try to find out what caused the girl to change, and see if he could think about something to make her stop without hurting her, too much. - Aether - Private Shuttle - Lanes Between - "I suppose it is. I'm usually the one dealing the final blow to people instead of trying to find out who is the one responsible for such thing," Aether replied to Kira, "It's kind of exciting really. Now I get to see the other side." Aether looked at the light above the cockpit winked on, something about it made her try to remember something. What that was, she didn't really knew. "Well Kira, it seems that the two of us will have to solve this strange mystery," she said calmly, "Let us find out how deep this hole goes. Unless it is only a simple plot for revenge, of course. That would be boring."
  10. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - The moment Aura heard Helios calling for Henry she turned her head around to look in his direction. She squinted her eyes to try and focus what little eyesight she had left. Henry was down and people were gathering around him. "That can't be happening," Aura said, "Henry can't be gone" It took a moment but Aura did managed to hear the voice, and hint of relief, of Elia as Henry came back to the world of the living. What a surprising turn of events they were living at the moment. Raiden, for some reason, had decided to attack Henry. Was that his plan from the very beginning? To use them to find, and claim, the Source for himself? Sifrei helped the Guradian Angel to get up, he also noticed how her eyes were focused on her hands and the red veins running through them. He knew of the source of such strange condition, as he had seen it many times millennia ago. The strange condition simply dubbed "Sanguis vindicta". A condition that, more often that not, drove angels into a frenzy madness, making them more agressive, more pysically powerful, but at the cost of sanity. Watching Raiden, or Odin as Mariel called him, made Sifrei stare at his form. Even from this distance he could feel his powerful aura. He was not an opponent to take lightly, unless you wanted to met a swift death. The Archangel followed Mariel from behind. Rabiyu was surprised that Aqua dared to put herself between Yevgeni and those who he was fighting. Aqua was trying to change Yevgeni's mind, Rabiyu only hoped that could work. At some point Yevgeni looked like he was considering chanching his mind, as he asked Rabiyu what would it mean if he decided to relent to their cause. Rabiyu was about to answer him when the voice of Helios made her turn around only to see Henry laying on the ground and Raiden going towards Nergal. Yevgeni's voice made ehr turn to look at him. "That is a question that we won't be able to answer. Whatever he gave up to enter this chamber must be the reason for his current behavior. That is what I hope, at least," Rabiyu said to Yevgeni, "Unless this was his plan all along. Nevertheless, it seems that the situation has change."
  11. - Rabiyu - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - "Everyone here has lost so much to reach this point. Memories, feelings, senses, people. A whole world ended because you choose to honor late king Alexander's will to the best of your abilities," Rabiyu said as she stepped away from Eclaire and the Prince, "But what gave Alexander the right to choose the fate of those not under his reign." Rabiyu was still aiming at Yevgeni, although her eyes moved slightly towards Eclaire, in case she decided to attack him. At this point it wasn't possible to fully comprehend what was going on inside Yevgeni's head, but Rabiyu didn't wished for him to perish at the moment. "Do not continue with this senseless cycle, Yevgeni. Surrender and hand over the source," Rabiyu said quietly, " Let the human world be restored. Let us work together with the humans so we can truly attain peace. This doesn't have to end with the death of any more people. You included."
  12. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Aura was staring at the princess as she spoke. It looked like the poor girl really believed that her wish to return to normal was a mistake, which Aura didn't agreed, the princess had the right to use that wish to cure her from her curse. "You shouldn't worry about that wish, Princess. You did nothing wrong with it," Aura said to Athena, "I do not think Rufus' magic could have helped any of us inside this strange place. It seems as if it had a mind of its own. Whoever build it, and hid the Source of All Life, really wanted to judge the worth of whoever dared to face its trials." Sifrei watched as Mariel's few remaining injuries began to heal by themselves. Something inside the guardian angel allowed her to heal those wounds. Such a strange being the guardian was. Sif was unable to say that, of course. Instead, he offered stood up and offered his hand at Mariel. Rabiyu saw as Yevgeni summoned beams of light from the sky, the beams falling all around the area where Nergal was standing, obviously directed at their enemies. But something was strange. The white haired elf noticed that none of the beams of light was falling anywhere near her. It was as if...no, she was not that close to the Queenslayer, that must have been the reason. She witnessed as Alicia's spell attack hit Yevgeni on his stomach, making him collapse to the ground and rolling several times. A strange, yet familiar light surrounded the elf, the sign of a healing spell. Rabiyu aimed an arrow towards Yevgeni as she slowly made her way towards him. The Prince and his daughter were already getting closer to Yevgeni as he was healing himself. The Prince asking Yevgeni to surrender one final time. Yevgeni wondered of the Source could split both worlds so they could have peace, and the Prince said that was how the whole mess began. She did not spoke a single word while Yevgeni and the Prince talked, but her eyes never left Yevgeni. Was it because she was waiting for him to suddenly attack the Prince, or was it because she had hope that he could change his mind in the end.
  13. Eclaire will realize that Yev was right. She needs to grow up.
  14. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Aura followed the princess until she made sure that they were in a safe spot, then she asked her what she had sacrificed in order to enter the final chamber. "I...I don't...I don't really know, Princess," Aura answered Athena, "My sight is not what's most important to me, that's for sure. But I feel like I am forgetting something, something very, very important." The princess explained what her own sacrifice had been, the person she most cared about, and apprently he was not there with them. "I can't say that I've seen him, Princess, but," Aura turned to look at Athena, "If he really cares for you, just as you care for him, then he will find his way back to you." Sifrei listened to the Cyph's explanation about what the small bug he had released on Mariel would do to help her heal. At some point that would have been interesting to hear, but not at the moment. He knew that he couldn't talk, and the cyph obviously couldn't see, so there was no way of effective communication he could offer. The nickname Chicken Wings would have been funny. Rabiyu noticed Yevgeni casting a spell, and she was about to turn around and shot him, but a beam that looked like a shooting star was coming her way, the only thing she could do was to dodge it. She quickly flew away from the attack, dodging a couple of these "shooting stars", one of which managed to get really close to her foot. Yevgeni had revealed that he was the brother of the Frostbearer, which came as a surprise to her. How was it possible for Yevgeni to get rid of his own blood, only to follow the wishes of the late king Alexander. The way he spoke with Aqua, the way he ran a finger across her cheek only to run to the Queenslayer's side, that made her feel something strange on her chest, something she had to ignore in order to avoid getting hurt in the fight, but was that the fight that was going on at the moment? or a fight within herself? "Spirits of the Air!" Rabiyu said as her hand pointed to the sky, "unleash thy fury and bring forth the thy power to defeat mine enemy!" The white haired elf pointed at the direction of Yevgeni and the Queenslayer, a loud booming sound coming from the sky as a flash of light illuminated the spot above her targets. A powerful lightning bolt made its way towards Yevgeni and Nergal, ready to incapacitate those she had to defeat.
  15. - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - Aurion was surprised for the sudden opening of a portal, likely linked to the Realm of Darkness, but what was more suprising was the fact that something, someone, came out of the portal before it closed and dispersed. "Is that fun enough for you?" Aurion asked Shala. The Realm of Darkness was a dangerous place, most parts of it, at least. So the obvious question was: should they approach the being that came out of the portal? Shala seemed to look at him to look for an answer to that question. The person whimpered and curled into fetal position, perhaps they needed help, and while hesitant, Aurion would try to help. He just hoped that trying to help someone wouldn't come back to hit him later. The former delivery boy slowly walked towards the person, being careful about his surroundings, just in case something else decided to come out. "Hey, are you alright?" Aurion asked, still a few steps away from the figure, "are you in need of assistance?" - Aether - Private Shuttle - Lanes Between - "Greedy individual from a greedy family? That sounds familiar, but at this point it is the norm in the Light, I suppose," Aether said, "Those kinds of people are often targeted and, also often, not mourned by those they extort. Which is all good and all, but it still ruffles a few feathers to merit an investigation." Aether wondered how many times she had been part of such situation, but at the same time it would be hard to remember her past jobs. Kira asked the former assassin of this situation could be the work of the Silver Ravens which made Aether think about it. "A good question, Kira. I guess if there was someone with enough munny to pay for such service then it can be possible. Usually targets are from higher places in the chain of command, but it is not impossible," Aether answered, "What would be the point in taking care of a tax official if he is not important in the bigger picture? He stole munny for his own benefit, that is all. Unless there is something else going on that the people of Twilight Town aren't aware of."
  16. - Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Aura was a little surprised when she heard the voice of princess Athena. Apparently king Alderon had suffered the same fate as her, the loss of their light, although she still could somewhat see. "Thank you, Princess," Aura answered Athena, "your help is appreciated." Before Aura followed Athena, she turned her head to look at the Archangel who was staring at nothing in particular at the moment. He was not the same, Aura could tell that, but he still made an attemp to protect her, just like Eli had said to him. Maybe, just maybe, that was the key to...Ugh! the noise made by a powerful scream made Aura cover her ears for a moment. Who was the source of the scream? she couldn't tell, but the scream ended as quickly as it began. "Sifrei, I have a favor to ask," she said while blinking and looking in the direction of Mariel, "I want you to help the person who screamed just now. Do not let them get hurt." Aura then held Athena's hand and waited for the princess to lead the way. Sifrei stared at Aura before turning around to face Mariel's way. He remembered the guardian angel, and he also remembered he offered his help before when she was trying to find clues about the assassination of the Frostbearer. If Aura told him that he should help her, then perhaps he should do it. Everything around the Archangel slowed down to such extent that it looked like time itself had stopped. He walked towards Mariel and Yevgeni not really paying attention to anything else. Once close enough he picked Mariel up and moved her out of harm's way, he took her some distance away from Yevgeni before putting her back on the ground as time reasumed its normal course. Sifrei put his hand over Mariel's wounds as his hand began to glow with a faint light, the sign of a healing spell for the Guardian Angel.
  17. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Rabiyu listened to Yevgeni's words, and, as much as she wanted to deny it, those words hurt her, because deep down she knew that there may have been another way to deal with things. However, this was reality. This was the moment the fate of the worlds would be decided. Yevgeni had given Nergal the source, which meant Rabiyu was going to follow the source, not Yevgeni, she didn't dared to do it, for reasons unknown to her. The glyph in the sky quickly shrunk into a small orb that flew towards Rabiyu's bow, the moment it made contact with the string the orb took the form of a glowing arrow, an arrow of light. "Yevgeni is not my concern, not now. I need to focus on getting the source," Rabiyu thought, "the others can have their revenge if they want, but our main priority is to recover the source so we can restore the world below." The white haired elf aimed at the Queenslayer's hand as fast as she could, taking a deep breath before releasing the arrow. If the the arrow managed to hit Nergal in his hand, then he would most surely lose it, thanks to the sheer amount of arcane power contained in the arrow of light. Aura was trying to figure out what was going on, she could only hear what the others were talking about, and the sounds combat, but her eyes were not working well. "Sifrei, we need to help them," Aura said to the Archangel as she took a step forwards. The Archangel looked at the young woman, he listened to what she had said, but the moment she took a step forwards, he put his hand on her shoulder, effectively stopping her from taking more steps. Aura looked like she wanted to argue, that she had to do something to help Helios, to help Eli, to help everyone, but looking at the blurred form of Sifrei made her realize that she was useless at the moment. She was not used to her new abilities yet, she could heard the sound of combat, but she couldn't predict how or when an enemy would attack. At that moment Aura's shoulders fell and she took a step back. "I understand." she said quietly, "I won't get in their way. Not as I am now."
  18. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - Aura was trying really hard to focus on what was going on in front of her, but her poor vision was making it quite hard to do so. Was this the price she had to pay to pass that strange chamber? At this point, it didn;t really mattered. She was slightly worried when she heard the sound of attacks, and even more when she noticed the blurry figure of Helios transform into that of a huge creature. "Helios, be careful! Do not lose focus or it could be dangerous!" Sifrei looked between Yevgeni and the rest of the group. He knew that the Source was important, so important that he sacrificed something dear in the process, but at this point he didn't cared. "Sifrei, I want you to take care of Aurora. It seems that she is unable to see well at the moment," Rabiyu said to Sifrei, "I do not know what you lost, but I need you to focus on protecting Aurora. Remember, Aurion is counting on us." Rabiyu slowly raised from the ground into the sky while Sifrei turned around and walked towards Aura. This surprised the young woman, as she barely could identify who was next to her, and even when she asked, she didn't get a response. Rabiyu on the other hand had stopped at Yevgeni's level, watching him with a strange expression, strange in the sense that she barely showed much emotion to begin with. "Things could have been different, I think. Back in the bar, when you asked the humans to get the feyslayer. I should have asked what your plan was back then. Maybe, just maybe, things could have been different, and we wouldn't be in this situation," Rabiyu said to Yevgeni, a faint hint of regret in her voice, "I suppose it would be foolish to ask you to give up the Source now. This is the path you have chosen, a path that you have to see until the very end. Whether you succeed on your endeavor, or we stop your plan, the fate of both worlds will be decided today." How did things came to this point, Rabiyu wondered. What started as a probable treason by the Lord of Mystras had turned into a treason by one closer to the Frostbearer. Rabiyu wished things could have been different, because, deep down, she felt that Yevgeni was just as lonely as she had been for hundreds of years. "You gave us a warning. I will do the same. Stop this, Yevgeni, and you may keep your life," Rabiyu said, "Kruziik ekrah do dinok, gaar lotzu'ul gral voknau dii paal, ahrk bex skuld do Ausul!" The white haired elf raised her arm towards the sky, sparks of electricity ran over her body seemingly at random, a single beam of light shot from her hand straight up into the sky where it formed a glowing glyph right above Yevgeni. At the slightest sign of an attack from Yevgeni, Rabiyu would unleash another powerful beam of light from the glyph that would turn Yevgeni into ashes in a matter of a couple of seconds.
  19. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Isopolis: The City of Isolation - It looked like everyone had made their way into the final chamber. What their sacrifices had been, only them knew. Rabiyu was looking around, only to instantly notice the bodies of a human and the Black Witch laying on the ground. What was the meaning of that? "Sifrei, Aura, are both of you alright?" Rabiyu asked "I-I'm fine. But I feel like I'm forgetting something very important at the moment." After waiting for a few seconds Rabiyu looked at Sifrei, waiting for his response, a response that never came. The Archangel only looked in front of him, barely paying attention to the the two figures ahead. Rabiyu quickly recognized one of the faces, the face of Yevgeni. "Yevgeni, what have you done?" She said as Eclaire, Mariel and Jynn rushed towards Yevgeni and Nergal, "Wait, don't be reckless!" Aura someone holding her hand, and she turned around to see the face of Helios, or at least, a blurry face. He quickly made hi way towards what looked like to bodies and then walked towards Yevgeni. She could barely see anything. Why? She didn't knew, but maybe it had to do with the strange feeling she had on her chest. Sifrei simply watched, Rabiyu asked him if he was alright, and he was, or, at least, he felt fine, but he could manage to say those words, it was like something took his voice away. Not like he really cared to respond the elf.
  20. The human king had managed to take a gem inside the body of the fallen dragon and Soren had taken it and put it on top of the pedestal. After what seemed like an eternity they found themselves in a white, endless room. Completely alone. Well, except for another person. - Rabiyu - The Final Trial: The Gate - The moment Rabiyu's vision came back she looked around only to find a large gate with engravings in many different languages. Some known to her, while others completely unkonwn. "To gain is to lose, and to know thyself is the absolute truth." She muttered. At that moment a mirror image of herself appeared before her. The doppelganger explains that, in order to enter the final door, must surrender what is most dear to her. Also saying that she mustn't lie, as both of them know what it is most important. "A sacrifice to enter the final gate. That which is most important to us." Rabiyu said, "In which case, I will surrender this." As she kept her eyes on the double in front of her, Rabiyu took out a worn looking book from inside her cloak, she then gave it to her doppelganger, not without letting to book fully go. "After all these centuries, what I've come to cherish the most, are the happy memories I have made. I may not leave my forest often, but those times I do get to travel around the floating lands I feel free, I can keep learning, see a purpose, see the beauty of our world," Rabiyu said to her double, "I will gladly give my happiest memories so I can help save the world below the Sea of Clouds." (Rabs will lose the happy moments in her whole life, leaving her to only remember the bad and slightly bad ones. Not that she would tell that to anyone.) - Aura - The Final Trial: The Gate - Young Aura was staring at the person if front of her, a perfect double of her image. Asking to give up that which was most important to her. The question was: Was she capable to give up that? "Is there no other way to pass?" Aura asked, not getting an answer from her double, "Nothing? Damn it..." What she could give up in order to pass through the gate? The more she tought about it, the more she came to realize that she already knew what she her to give up. "The most important thing to me is...being able to remember my mother and my brother, to see their faces every time I close my eyes at night, to remember the days I spend on the farm with both of them," she said as tears appeared in the corner of her eyes, "You can take that from me if it means we can restore our world." (Aura will be unable to recall the name and faces of both her mother, Aulea, and Aurion. Partial blindness.) - Sifrei - The Final Trial: The Gate - One moment Sifrei was offering to help Elia and the next he was in a white room with nothing buth a huge door and a copy of himself. Made him wonder if they had failed the test, but the copy said that the Source was close, he only had to give up the most important thing he had. "The most important thing to me? That is something hard to give up, me," Sifrei said to his double, "But if there is even the slightest possibility to get the source and use it to help the humans, well, that is something that I'm willing to sacrifice." Without saying another single word Sifrei grasped the hand of his double, a smile on his face. "The feelings I have for those around me. My allies, my friends, my family. Take them and let me move forwards" (Sif will be mute after this. He won't be able to express anything, as he will be without any feelings. He will be able to cast spells or use his abilities, but he will not help willingly, to some extent.)
  21. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Third Trial: Xeno'jiva fight - Finally, the dragon was dead. It had taken the conbined might of the group to bring down the beast, but they had managed to succeed. It took a moment, but with Mariel's help, both had managed to get Elia out of danger. Sifrei carefully took the lead and floated slowly into solid ground. "There you go," he said to Elia, "You are out of danger now. Do you have any injuries that may need healing? I can help you with that." Sifrei heard the sound of metal near him, the sword that had been created by Alastor before was close to him. Apparently it had served for something after all! He looked at the prince and gave him a slight nod. The moment Aura noticed that the dragon stopped moving she ran towards her white haired friend, being careful not to fall into any of the fissures. "Eli! Eli, are you alright?" She asked Rabiyu, "Just peachy. Nothing to worry about. Everything will be just fine in a moment," Rabiyu answered as her hand immediately moved towards the wound on her abdomen, "Lend me your aid. What that creature said worries me. Let's take a look around to see if we can find a lead." Aura was about to protest but she saw as Rabiyu's hand glowed faintly with a pale white light. She was worried that her friend's injury was dangerous, but if she said that she was alright then she was going to trust her, even if she was really worried for her. Aura put Rabiyu's arm around her neck and helped her move around the chamber, looking for any kind of hint as to what they had to do to move into the next part of their journey. After a moment of finding no leads Aura heard the voice of Arthur and Helios, apparently they had found something. As they moved closer, Rabiyu heard the words of the ancient tongue. "Nicely done, Helios. With enough practice you could learn the ancient tongue. If you don't mind, let me take a look at it," Rabiyu said to Helios as Aura helped her to get closer to examine the writing, giving Helios a nod as if to say 'good job with the dragon', "Kril sil wo geblaan daar untak, wah bex borii ven, gein kent zahrahmiik sogaal do krinaan sivaas wah palaar." It took a moment for Rabiyu to actually give meaning to the words, as the ancient tongue was different that the modern one. Words could have different meanings depending on the context, but after a few seconds Rabiyu understood what those words meant. The words mean 'Brave souls who completed this trial, to open the next path, one must sacrifice the gem of the slain beast to the pedestal.' It is a rough translation, but it's the best I can offer for now." Rabiyu said calmly. "So...the creature, the dragon has the key to move forwards? What is the "gem" of the slain beast? The beast is made of crystals. Could it be talking about something inside the dragon? Maybe its heart?" Aura said while looking back at the corpse of the dead creature.
  22. - Aether - Private Shuttle - Lanes Between - "That is fine with me," Aether answered, "At least it won't be as difficult as it was to infiltrate the palace. That place was a chore, that's for sure. " Aether kept her eyes on Kira for a while, something told her that the woman was not happy with her current situation. Perhaps it was the tone of her voice, or the look on her face, that gave that away. Aether didn't bother to ask either, as Kira probably wasn't going to answer such questions. "Do we have any important information regarding this target, Kira?" She asked, "Who was this local lord? Someone important in the bigger picture? A top brass, perhaps?" - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - The aura around the place kept on growing and growing the closer they got, with the shadows also growing until they mixed together. It was strange to look at. The clouds above made the surroundings darker, but it was to be expected. Aurion's hand had black mist swirling around it, as the bubbling shadows only meant one thing. "I don't know about a race, but I agree that we should be swift," Aurion said as he summoned his keyblade, "Something is coming. Something that could cause lots of troubles."
  23. - Rabiyu, Aura and Sifrei - Third Trial: Xeno'jiva fight - Aura watched as the prince's wings materialized on his back before giving her back Rufus' lamp. She said nothing about the wish the prince had asked for, he had his reasons. Before she could voice her thoughts the prince took into the air with incredible speed. Aura didn't had much time to think since the cracks on the ground caused by the dragon were threatening to swallow her if she didn't back away. She focused on her surroundings as she began to run in the opposite direction of the dragon, jumping over any crack on the ground. Sifrei had managed to destroy most of the falling crystals that were coming in his direction, and turned just in time as the prince called for everyone's help to finish the dragon. It was time to unleash everything he had against the creature to finish it off. "Under the shining name of the Creator, may the light of judgment fall as rain upon those impure souls who crawl in the world. Sacred powers, cast your purifying light upon-" At this point Sifrei heard the cry of one of his allies, which quickly made him fly towards the source of the scream. Apparently he was not the only one who noticed, as Mariel also came to help Elia, who was falling in one of the cracks on the ground caused by the dragon. "Don't worry," Sifrei said to Elia, "we won't let you fall." Rabiyu reached both hands out towards the dragon and focused. The prince had given them the chance to strike the creature and there was no way that they would miss that chance. The elf noticed that the Frostbearer's retainer's sword was creating ice around the spot it made contact and she decided to do the same but from underneath the beast. "Heed my call, Spirits of the north. Let the flame of life be extinguished, and the cold embrace of death fall over the living!" From beneath the dragon a glowing glyph began to glow with a pale bluish light, glowing brighter and brighter with each second. If the dragon didn't manage to move in time then it would be impaled by the several ice spikes that would come out of the glyph and would freeze it completely from the inside out.
  24. - Aether - Private Shuttle - Radiant Garden orbit - Aether looked and listened to Kira with a slightly amused look. For some reason she found it funny that she had been trying to get rid of her, only to be ordered to work together. "Understood, partner," Aether answered while giving a quick salute, "I suppose I will find out the meaning of that at some point." By what she managed to hear the next destination would be town of eternal sunset, Twilight Town. She knew about what made the town special, being a place between Light and Darkness, but she wondered if she had ever been to the place before. "Sounds like you have a pretty exciting life, Kira," the assassin said, "we will see what life has in store for us in the future." - Aurion - Radiant Garden - Raising Falls - While Aurion was used to speak with others, he wasn't used to be the center of attention. Shala made him feel slightly nervous, although he barely showed it. "Focus on the present? I understand that, I think," Aurion said. The young girl that was now travelling with him sure was a curious one, that was for sure. She was asking lots of questions, which was not a bad quality to have. As the two got closer to the Raising Falls Aurion was paying extra attention to his surroundings, being careful about whatever thing that could pop out to attack them. "I just have to take a look around the grounds of that old castle, nothing more. As for the place being dangerous..." Aurion shrugged, "your guess is as good as mine. People don't come often around these parts, as the castle had some bad reputation in the past. I guess we will find out sooner or later."
