Quick question that I wanted answered for a long time. Maybe it's a dumb question, but I'd love to have an answer to it >< So about young Xehanort and the time travel thingy. One of the rules of time travel say "you have to leave your body behind to do it", but young Xehanort did not leave his body behind, did he? Or did I miss something?

I didn't play the game, so I searched the wiki. Apparantly a piece of Ansem SoD still remained in Riku during CoM and after a while in CO, he meets DiZ, who gives him a card to give Ansem physical form, so that Riku is able to defeat him once and for all. Not sure if the wiki is entirely trustworthy, but I guess that's it.

I'm guessing you speak only of the KHFM one? If so, then there, I stolefound a list somewhere of some heartless you might be missing. About the characters I don't really know though.

Congratulations. Well no, there is nothing definite I think, but this person said something pretty nice. While this is not entirely correct, as young Xehanort was speaking of himself and that the objective of his future self is now etched into his heart or more precisely his "path", he will take from his time in the past to the present is now part of him. The part that is nice here though is, that the same can be applied to Ansem SoD. Xemnas had either a part of or no memories at all of his two selfs at the start, I think that was mentioned somewhere. He regained most of it through visiting the Chamber of Repose. So he possibly had a basic idea of what his somebody's objective was. Another possibility could be he was visited by young Xehanort at some point, or this could've just happened additionally to the former. As for Ansem SoD, he is the heart, so it is likely that, since heart and memories are tightly linked, that he had full access to the memories and made use of them through time travelling and telling young Xehanort about what to do, giving him the same ability to travel through time. About Sora, tbh that one kinda confuses me. I don't remember much about that instant when he turned into a heartless. But about Roxas and Xemnas. I mentioned before in this post that Xemnas had not all or even none of the memories of his two original personas. Roxas didn't either. But there are still differences between the two nobodies. while they are both special cases, they are not exactly the same.

About the thing with the Ansem's body. I think it was a little different. I always understood it this way: Ansem SoD and Xemnas are the heartless and nobody of Terra possessed by Xehanort aka Terranort or Apprentice Xehanort. So when AX turned into heartless and nobody, Xemnas was the left behind body and soul, while Ansem SoD was merely a heart without a body, thus he left his body behind and was able to travel through time. He was then seen as the robed figure talking to young Xehanort on destiny islands. Later he was seen again on DI in the KHI timeline where he talked to Sora. Only when he possessed Riku, he gained a body of his own until he was then defeated by Sora, Donald and Goofy. I don't know whether this is confirmed to be like this, but I'm pretty sure that's how it actually is.

Not exactly. At first Ansem was that brown robed figure we see at the start of Kingdom Hearts. he only gained a physical form due to possessing Riku. (I got that right, right? lol) Edit: I'm simply too slow with posting..

Well we don't know how much Xemnas actually knows and what not. He isn't called enigmatic for nothing. And if he knew about Saix and Axel's plan, I think he didn't care. All the Norts are not exactly defensive about their objectives in a way. Xemnas probably didn't think of those two to be a hindrance to his plans. The fact that saix already was a Nort might be a big reason for him not to care too much, because he was probably sure Saix wouldn't do anything funny anyways.

Yeah, but Xigbar was a nort before he became a nobody. After becoming one, it was pretty clear he was still on Xehanort's side, and whether he had a fragment of Xehanort's heart at that time doesn't really matter and I didn't say it does.

So you say that while he had no heart himself, he instead got that part of xehanort's heart, turning him into a nort? Could be a likely possibility. About Xigbar though, that was not really the point. I was pointing out that since he got norted before turning into a nobody and lost his heart when he became one, were was xehanort's heart fragment? And I meant the same about Saix, if he was norted before becoming a nobody. But it could, of course be as you said as well.

Okay, the title isn't very concrete, so I shall explain! I was thinking about this lately. I always understood it like that if Xehanort put a part of his heart inside of someone (in this case Braig and Isa), it would slowly consume their own hearts until they become a full Xehanort clone. We know that Braig got his part of Xehanort's heart between his fight with Terra and the end of BBS. When Isa got it, we don't know, but it was most likely before he became a nobody. That leads us to the problem I was thinking about. When you turn into a nobody, you lose your heart. That is fact. So I thought, when Braig and Isa, now Xigbar and Saix don't have their hearts which got seeded with Xehanort's heart, how can their hearts be further devoured? And yeah I know about what Xemnas said in KH3D. I listened to his speech million times over and over but more out of a different reason than simply understanding his words better lol. So yeah the both had no hearts, at least for some time. So if the grew new hearts, what happens with those, when the nobodies holding these hearts disappear? Do they disappear as well and simply get replaced by their old hearts which were, in this case, still seeded with Xehanort's heart? Or do they retain them and they even fuse with their old hearts (which are also in this case still seeded)? I think this last case seems very likely. I'm pretty sure Axel regrew a heart while he was a nobody. We learn that he has his memories as a nobody when he became normal again and we learnt that memories are strongly connected to hearts. Which makes me believe that the reason why he remembers his nobody days is because his new heart became one with his old heart. That's also why I strongly believe that every one of the organization somehow was able to get a new heart, even Xemnas. And now I totally got lost in writing this lol, actually I just wanted to say that stuff about Xigbar and Saix. So I'll just continue with that. So were these two, even if just temporarily, free from Xehanort while they had no hearts after they became nobodies? This got pretty complicated I think, haha. Sorry, I got carried away Anyways, any thoughts on my text wall here? You don't need to take it as a theory or anything of that sort, just some stuff I was thinking about out loud..

I didn't really mean because of the graphics. If it were only about the graphics, hell yeah throw it in, but it isn't. I just can't imagine Sora and co. in such a world with dinosaurs as company. I don't say it's impossible. I say I need to see it, before I can judge. But I doubt it will be in KH3.

How could I forget the two nightmares Vanitas' remnant and MF?! I almost smashed my PSP because of Vanitas (lucky I can control myself..) and I gave up on MF for now haha 8D Demyx was nothing against these two..
