  1.    Silent reacted to a post in a topic: Sewer Rats - Noire
  2. I always wish they had done that. I hope the next game actually makes the world seems like...WORLDS. It's weird wandering around the Mulan world and no one is around except for the main characters of the film. It's ancient China! There should be people walking around and interacting. I want each level to feel like a living, breathing environment.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBRaP_4kvk8 I'd love it if you guys checked it out!
  4. This is great stuff guys. I think there's a lot possibilities for people to learn new language by merely interacting with certain passions they have (such as video games) and then discussing the passions with other people. It's another way to look at education and video games, not merely as playing games that teach language but learning new linguistic tools as a byproduct of another medium (video games, online forums).
  5. It doesn't have to be anything specifically from this forum. But I've found research in which a Chinese student was able to perfect her English by writing fan fiction stories from her favorite pop culture and video games. I wanted to see if anyone has found that here perhaps through socializing with one another and maybe through the Role Playing section on this forum.
  6. Hi, I'm studying language acquisition in college and I wanted to probe the question as to whether you guys feel like you have acquired or learned aspects of the Japanese language through interaction with Kingdom Hearts and interacting with other fans of the series on forums? Perhaps you've picked up some Japanese terms by discussing videos before they're translated or have wanted to find more aspects to the Japanese culture. Please let me know. This is exciting and new stuff and I'd love to illuminate the educational purposes online forums can create.
  7. It's a mixture of love for Ellie and pure survival instinct.
  8. I really want to dive into this anime and everything about it. I'm sick of watching crappy sci-fi with no depth in terms of story and character. Can anyone link me to where I can find the episodes and give me a list of which movies to watch in order?
  9. So I recently got the new Devil May Cry game but I haven't played any others in the series. Is this new one related the other games at all or is a Western spinoff?
  10. I wish Kingdom Hearts had a little more logic to it. However, I think sometimes, to really enjoy the games, you have to suspend your disbelief. By that, I mean just go with the flow. Plus, I think a lot of things also get lost in translation.
  11. There's a lot of potential for this world. Dream Drop Distance left it pretty open.
  12. Name: Floryn Age: 19 Race: Demon Affiliation: Military/Kura Weapons: M4 Carbine Powers: Ability to produce small maggots that can be used to induce hypnosis. Can create small tornadoes. Bio: Not much is known except for her infatuation with memories. Upon killing certain victims, she is able to mind-meld with them absorb all of their past experiences. Appearance:
  13. I loved Dream Drop Distance so much so I think it'll be a good job. Plus, with all the capacity the PS4 has, it'll be awesome to see what they can do.
  14. Do you think we'll ever see anything more from Agni's Philosophy? I'd love to see more of this universe.
  15. Shadow of the Colossus. That ending, man. THAT ending.
