Scattered Dream

Rachel tried to reach Tachytito as she saw him disappear into the dark portal, but it was no use. She wished they had seen this coming. Her thoughts were interrupted as she barely raised her keyblade in time to block an overhead blow. Right, she remembered, we are in the middle of a giant battle. She dispatched the soldier quickly, trying to stay by Crix. Then she began a flurry of combo attacks. Three dark warriors lay dead at her feet, and she felt a twinge of remorse before remembering that they would have killed her or a friend if she hadn't stopped them.

Rachel ran silently alongside Tachytito and Crix. There was no need to talk, as they kbew what was expected of them. She blocked a blow from her left, following it up with a thrust. It still felt like something was wrong. Xiath had to have something up his sleeve or he wouldn't meet them in open battle...

Well written!!!! I love it when people stick up for Xion.... And Axel, but he doesn't need it as much. As for how none of the trio handled the situation right, they are Nobodies, and unaccustomed to emotion, not to mention Roxas and Xion haven't existed even a year yet. Good job!!!

When the Ruler of the sky's goes crazy and stars using guns try to go underneath it, it's "heart" is exposed and it can't hit you.

Hmmm, since Roxas Axel an Xion quit, so don't really count, I am going with Zexion.

Rachel knew she wasn't going to be able to sleep again tonight. All the recent excitement had pulled her manic-depressive disorder back to the surface. She had found what she wanted in the library, so she lay in bed with her mind racing through tactics and scenarios. She couldn't see everything, but for now the disorder was on her side. It boosted her imagination too help her guess at the most unexpected things. If there was a single good attribute to Xiath, it was his imagination. She only wished she knew more about this Baal person Ignis had mentioned. He was an unknown variable to this equation, and she didn't like it. Then there was Zane. Twisted as he was, he had to have some reason to respect Xiath. It wouldn't be the first time Ignis had told them partial truths, and it seemed like he was avoiding the topic of his former friend. They needed to have complete confidence in each other to stand a chance.

Rachel nodded. This did match up with what she had found in the library, but still, she wasn't sure if they were playing into Xiaths plan. Tachytito had a good heart, he was honest and courageous, but all of these good attributes could be turned into weakness by someone as twisted as Xiath. She shook her head as if to clear it. They had trusted Tachitito this far. Now was no time to start doubting. Rachel looked over at him. "Good luck." She tried to sound confident.

I'm sorry if you thought I was accusing you of anything. I was being silly too.

Roxas won't be dual wielding if Ventus comes back, but it would be great to see him.

But still, bad plan posting it on this thread. If Oswald is correct and you are to then trey will be splitting your soul 14 ways instead of 13. Either way is pretty bad, but...

Disney loves killing their characters. Ex-Bambi, Junglebook (implied), the Rescuers, Lion King, Tarzan, Cinderella (also implied), The Fox and the Hound. May I mention that these are all kids movies? I am pretty sure it isn't Disney.

Rachel was pretty sure that Tachytito couldn't have made the X-blade in his heart without wanting it at least a bit. She was shocked that he would even contemplate it, but also saw that there was nothing she could do. There were very few things Rachel liked less than not being able to do anything, so she slipped out of the room without making a single sound to alert anyone of her absence. She decided too make a visit to the library to find anything she could on Kingdom Hearts and the X-blade.

Rachel backed away from the phantom, casting two fira spells at its heart.

Rachel couldn't get out of the way in time, so she used a fire spell and followed it up with a few basic attacks. She couldn't help but wonder if there had been any reason at all for Zane's move. "Xiath, righteous? Bit of an oxymoron, don't you think?" She really needed to stop talking...

(I'm dead... :0) Rachel figured there was nothing wrong with retreating if she was just buying time. She did another couple of dodge rolls, staying just beyond the Phantoms reach. "The only thing darkness has ever brought me is sorrow. The wisest people are those who learn from the mistakes of others. Haven't you seen what Xiath is doing?" She thought sadly of the day her mother had died before dodging again.

Rachel laughed as she threw a blizzard spell at the phantoms heart (sorry, what color is it?). "Anyone in this castle could be considered A host, so long as they belong here. As for my name, I don't think you'll be here long enough to need it." Rachel wasn't sure if she had enough magic to last till Ignis got Tachytito back, but she would need to try.

Rachel recovered quickly, dodge rolling backwards and drawing her keyblade. She then tilted her head, and frowned mockingly. "Didn't anyone ever tell you that it's rude to hit your hosts?"

Rachel ran over to Crix, shaking him awake and silently motioning over to where Ignis and Tachytito were. No need to wake up the whole castle, after all.

Rachel woke with a start, feeling like there was something wrong. She looked around the room to find Tacytito's body glowing with power. He wouldn't have summoned kingdom hearts power without good reason... Rachel tried shaking him awake, and when that failed she ran out of the room to find Ignis. He would know what to do. She knocked on the big door at the end of the hall.

(Ummm, they are in Tachytito's heart.)

Rachel walked over to the side of the room, thinking on what Tachytito had told them. It was nice, the feeling of unity here. She wondered if all these people knew their fate. It was worth it, she decided, to loose her life to protect her friends, her family, the world. She wondered what would happen to her heart after she died. It was strange, but she didn't worry. Like Tachitito had said, they would fight till the end.

Rachel had to think about that for a second before saying "I'll be glad when this whole thing is over. Xaith's mind is more twisted than a rubix cube. How about you?" She paused, "Other than declaring revenge or death, that is."
