Could they have? Sure. Except it's entirely possible they can't give an exact date of release yet. Would you rather be kept in the dark? Or keep hearing that the release date keeps getting delayed when they realize they can't finish by the date they last announced?

So I just finished compiling a roadmap for Lightning Returns that includes completing 60 non-Canvas Side Quests and the Main Quests by the end of Day 9, leaving three free days to screw around... and now I'm curious to see if anyone here is interested in using it for reference.

I totally agree with this. In my personal opinion, this is probably my favorite out of the trilogy to play in terms of battling. Also, an interesting perk about the Lightning and Sazh episodes is that you can access them the moment you go to the Historia Crux and before you travel to Bresha Ruins 5 AF. You know, if you want to just screw around. (Although, Lightning really is only OP early game and it begins to balance out around when you get to Academia 400 AF, assuming you only play the story and don't go for all the side quests.)

No. I didn't equip Light Guard to Knight of Etro. It has only ever had Guard, Steelguard (briefly), and now currently Mediguard. And it still perfect guards against light attacks.

So. Not knowing how I pulled this off is making me feel like an idiot. I decided to be that noob that plays the game using only Guardian Corps, Knight of Etro, and SOLDIER 1st Class (except when forced to do otherwise for specific quests, of course). On each garb, I equipped an Attack and some Guard ability. But I'm not here to ask how to not be stupid with customizing abilities. What's eating at me is... with the Knight of Etro garb, I am somehow perfect guarding against light attacks. No. It's not perfect timing on the Guard. I would literally hold the button down, and it would perfect guard against all light attacks. And it only happens with the Knight of Etro garb. So I checked the Auto-Abilities, and all I have on it are two Strength Abilities--one of which increases by percentage, the other by a fixed amount--another with 100% resistance to Daze (before I had one that resisted Defaith and forgot it was there afterwards until recenty--no change in the guarding thing), and another boosts maximum HP. The only thing I can think of is that the Strength boosters have something to do with it, but I doubt it. I could be completely wrong about that, though. I did something, but I don't know what it is. DX

Because all that matters is that you get the good stuff. It doesn't matter what troubles. As long as you think it's conceivable to get a good game, nothing else matters, because these hurdles developers have to get over don't exist. *what troubles there are *what troubles there are

I can see why it could potentially work and not work. But I do certainly hope it'll be implemented. I would enjoy it so much.

I'm hyped for being able to play KH2FM and BBSFM. I'll be even more hyped if they get the Mirage Arena fully working online.

Eh. I had trouble with the KH2 Gummi Ship missions. But if it's a trophy requirement in 2.5, then I'll do it. What I do hope for... is that the Difficulty trophies stack, unlike in 1.5... or if they don't... they don't make a trophy for every single difficulty in KH2FM... and for every single difficulty for each character/storyline in BBSFM.
