  1. Pause buffering is your best friend for the DM mini-game. Three of the O's should be easy enough to get without pause buffering, but you can still do it. The fourth however... when you pause, you want to see the X while paused. That way, when you unpause and mash the X button, by the time the game you physically press the button and the game reads your input, it should be a O, getting you the fourth one to pass the mini-game.
  2. Sadly, Ultima Weapon outclasses Fenrir. If you equip all of your abilities, including Combo Pluses and such, you'll realize that you'll deal more damage from a full combo with Ultima than with Fenrir. Yes, I am factoring in Fenrir. If you add a "Combo Plus" to Fenrir, you gotta do it to Ultima as well for a better comparison. And also, Ultima Weapon is outclassed by Decisive Pumpkin a lot of the time, simply because Decisive Pumpkin has Combo Boost.
  3. Like I said, I wouldn't want to "ruin" my LV1 file. And I'm sure others would feel the same.
  4. Well, I just said it's because of stats.
  5. Mysterious Figure. Because he obviously has the greatest boss design ever. *end sarcasm* Even with the ideal strategy, it's still possible for him to say "NOPE" and then you're just dead. Lingering Will gets easier once you figure out how he works.
  6. ...so saying to hit the one piece with a Finisher? Wouldn't it be simpler to just... go Fenrir + Negative Combo? Like people already suggested above?
  7. If you're playing casually, then it wouldn't matter, would it? But if you're like me, who feels it defeats the purpose of being LV1 AND/OR may also consider speedrunning certain portions of the game, then you may feel it'll ruin the LV1 file because you're not "truly" LV1 anymore, in a manner of speaking.
  8. He didn't say that (at least not the last time it was brought up); he and all of the other LV1 Data Org RTA speedrunners just choose not to skip it as it doesn't save enough time in the RTA to be worth doing. The only truly unskippable ones are Demyx and Final Xemnas (if you consider the Water Form mini-games and laser rooms to be DMs).
  9. Slightly incorrect. Three mushrooms are just impossible with LV1 stats. That is... you can do them if you use stat boosts, but that would defeat the purpose of being LV1, wouldn't it?
  10. I'd like to point out that Vexen's DM is skippable. Here:
  11. Marluxia for me. And only the first Xemnas battle.
  12. Here are my two cents, when playing MF and No Heart as Terra: > Mysterious Figure: "Welp. He just said "NOPE" and I was dead. Just like that. Let's try again. Nope. Dead again. Try again... Seriously? Lasers... Meteor... AND Doom?! ALL AT ONCE? WHY. WHY IS HE ABLE TO DO THIS?!?! ...Why does Once More not work here? WHY. Why does he still have all these insane moves? There I am. Dead again. Uuuuuuugh. I just wanna kill this guy and move on!!! *cries*" > No Heart: "Wait... what? Not everything has kill potential? I can ACTUALLY take a couple hits and still have more than 1 HP? HOLY MOLY. WOW. Did I really just almost beat him first try? I can TOTALLY put up with this! Let's go, No Heart! Time to have some fun! :D" So yeah. No Heart easier? I would say so.
  13. It's not even a glitch. It was added to your Stock but it doesn't immediately transfer to the Moogle until you enter the Synthesis menu again.
  14. After you give the Moogle the items, you will receive the Orichalcum+. Then you have to exit and re-enter the Synthesis menu to give that Orichalcum+ to the Moogle so you can use it in Item Synthesis.
  15. You could literally equip a different Keyblade and nothing would change. The fact that more items dropped after equipping Wishing Lamp is pure coincidence.
  16. Jackpot has nothing to do with item drop rates; it only increases the amount of orbs dropped.
  17. I think Lucky Rings have to be synthesized. If you don't have the recipe for it, you'll have to settle for just having Lucky Lucky equipped. Keyblade doesn't matter since none of them have Lucky Lucky attached to them.
  18. Then you just have to keep farming until you get them. Equip all the Lucky Lucky abilities you can and even Lucky Rings, to further increase your odds. If you have to, synthesize more Lucky Rings. The Remembrance Crystal you used will still count.
  19. Then it's going to be a bit difficult to help you. All I can say is that there is four kinds of every item (except Orichalcum and Illusion, which there are only two of each--Orichalcum and Orichalcum+... and Lost Illusion and Manifest Illusion). There is a Shard, Stone, Gem, and Crystal for every Synthesis type. (Blazing, Frost, Thunder, Dark, Dense, Power, Twilight, Serenity, Energy, Mythril, Remembrance...) I might be forgetting some.
  20. Mythril Items must be synthesized. Serenity items are dropped by Bulky Vendors depending on the Reaction Command you use. Alternatively, for any Serenity Item, except Crystal, they are dropped by Heartless in the first Cavern of Remembrance room (they just have a very low drop rate, so this may not be advised unless you have every Lucky Ring and Lucky Lucky ability possible equipped).
  21. Doesn't really help because we don't know what materials you have.
  22. I can think of another place that is possibly more optimal for Leveling Up Master Form. (Note: This assumes you're at endgame.) First, have Sweet Memories and Damage Converter equipped, and also have Follow the Wind equipped on Master. Also, have all of your Jackpot abilities equipped. Go to Yen Sid's Tower and go to the room with the Gamblers. Spam mini-games. Normally, they drop lots of Munny, but with Drive Converter, most of the Munny becomes Drive Orbs. (You can also do this without any Drive Converters equipped to farm Munny easily.)
  23. Wanna know why Anti Form appears when you Drive? Here's the breakdown: > Using Valor, Wisdom, Limit, or Master Form: +1 Anti Point > Using Anti Form: -4 Anti Points > Using Final Form: -10 Anti Points > Get a new Form: reset Anti Points to 0 Likelihood of Anti Form: > 0-5 Anti Points: 0% > 6-10 Anti Points: 10% > 11+: 25% Multipliers: > Scripted Battles: x2 > Battles with non-party allies (Leon, Hercules, etc.): x0 > Organization XIII: x4 > Armored Xemnas: x10 Note: You cannot trigger Anti Form if: - you're not in a battle (Command Menu is blue and not yellow or red) - it's a solo battle - you only have one party ally in battle (example: Sora & Riku vs Final Xemnas) - you have two party allies, but one or both of them are KO'd So to answer your question: You keep getting Anti Form because you've used Drives a LOT.
  24. My thoughts, before I finally managed to beat it. The next one that felt the longest would have to be the cutscene before Larxene II in Re:CoM (assuming you didn't want to skip).
  25. This was probably the most painful thing for Re:CoM. At least in KH1FM, you had something else you could do at the same time, assuming you didn't get all the non-difficulty trophies in a single run...
