Case in point: I was ringing up a family recently (I'm a cashier) And the mother was carrying what I assumed was the couples daughter. (Little girl shoes/ clothes, etc. ) But I upon striking up a conversation, the mother made a point to mention that their (daughter)? was actually their son. I thought asking why he was dressed up as a little girl would be prying, so i didn't ask, but it just goes to show that you really can't assume anymore, eh?

I can sympathize with you there, Merilly. It really is difficult to tell what gender some people identity with, unless you ask them. Things aren't like they were in the 1920s or earlier, when any woman who didn't wear a dress to her heels was judged harshly by society, and a man had better look "manly"! In this age, people are more free than ever to express themselves the way they want to, and although it's beautiful thing, it can sometimes be...rather confusing.

Father? Doubt it. Parents aren't really a focus point of the KH series.... Past/Future incarnation of some sort? Most definitely.

Really? Huh, well it only makes sense, right? I mean a person who identifies as both Male and Female, would feel more at home with a specific pronoun, I would think....It seems somewhat De-humanizing to just say "them" or "they" all the time.

I wonder how much grammar will change within the next 50-100 years...With so many people identifying as gender fluid, transgender, bigender, etc., I wonder if new pronouns will be created for those who identify as such? Would be interestiing..
