Name: Lukkel Vancin Age: 19 (Looks 30) Race: Human Appearance: 5' 8" medium build with short spiked white hair, green eyes with soft facial features. Wearing a shoulder backpack which carries a spare set of clothes, long sleeve shirt with a sleeve missing, a jacket vest with an X on the back and a necklace with a small jar with powder in the jar, black jeans with a white stripe on each leg, and tennis shoes that are red with white strips. Personality: Has a kind heart willing to help with anything he can, he communicates with his team, rarely going on his own. He looks for adventure wherever he can find it, while also sticking with what he knows in the world, he likes to teach what he knows during adventures, but he wants to learn what he can about new things. Biography: Lukkel was born with a younger sister and an older brother, and his parents were geniuses and decided to do genetic tests on their kids to show off their genius. At the age of 8 his parents started to do the genetic tests on him, after speeding his growth and adding his special abilities. The only person that was not tested on was his younger sister, he made sure his parents wouldn't touch her. After 3 years on testing they did one more test to his brother, before showing him off to the science and development, but the test went south and Lukkels' brother was ripped apart for the inside out. So, after the test failed they took Lukkel to science and development without doing any further testing. When the science and development team saw what the parents did, the team had the parents arrested and took Lukkel and his younger sister to an orphanage to have them find a better family. Lukkel and his younger sister got separated and he lost connection with his younger sister after 3 year. Lukkel got picked up at the age of 16 and learned as much as he could with his new family and learned that there are so much more he missed out on for 13 years and wanted to leave for an adventure. Before he left his family gave him a small jar of dust as a necklace and told him that it was something that was in him and his brother's room, thinking it was his. He remembered his brother showed him his ability of fire and burned some wood from the desk. Lukkel thanked the family and went off with what was given to him. 3 years later he got to the safe haven with money and training looking for a new life. Ok I added a little bit more to it.

You traverse a futuristic land called Istila gathering hearts from murderers and criminals, you are part of a group of investigators called the UCCA (Unprecedented Criminal Correction Agency) that deal with unprecedented criminals. There are eye witnesses that say the criminals do things out of fantasy books and movies, thankfully with the help of the government you are able to do such things to catch these evildoers and to insure no criminal escapes is to encasing their hearts in captivity. But you feel an uneasiness in the air as criminals start coming out of the wood work, your job is to find out how this is happening and stop it on top of doing your other duties. (This is something I came up on the fly and in a hurry if you want more info I will put some in after work tomorrow.) Varius nodded, "Yeah I'm ready." He grabbed the box and took the pieces out of the box. 'If it doesn't fit one way, sooner or later the piece has to fit somewhere, somehow." He rotated, flipped, and placed the pieces into the box trying a kinds of combinations. Until 30:01 minutes later puts the Red block in the box shutting it smiling. "To answer your question I like to practice my swordsmanship as a hobby not just as a necessity." He commented "Also, how did I do, I had to have gotten it for you to nominate me as sheriff right?" Giving him a grin, closing his eyes and tilting his head excited for the win.

Varius nodded "I think I can handle this, I do have to be able to swing a sword with high velocity and speed so I should be fine." He starts climbing up the rope, Varius thinks to himself 'If I was part monkey this would be a hell of a lot easier.' He finally reaches the top and wraps the rope around his hand and grips it tightly, he reaches out with the other hand to grab the next rope and using that same hand, does the same thing, and let go of the first rope. He hangs there for 3 minutes and moves on to the next one noticing slight muscle pain he kept going, and he slid down the last rope happy that it was over. "Man, Gumshoe sure know how to give his cadets a hard time." He said rotating his shoulder and rubbing his forearm. "But we have one last test so let's get this over with so I can take a cat nap." Varius says moving his cat ears, chuckling.

Varius, using his speed dashed to the key on the floor. Quickly going back to the door, he hurriedly put the key in the key hole and noticed it did not open . 'Crap, wrong one.' Varius thought. 'Then there is only one key left. Varius pushed off the wall giving him a small bust of speed. He got to the front of the moving wall, Varius reached for his sword to pull the key from the wall. Varius after a 4 minute struggle he pulled the key off and unlocked the door just as the wall was closing. "Man... That... Was... Close." Varius stated breathing heavily.

"Yup, lets get this under way!" Varius stated with excitement taking a running stance already looking around the room seeing the 3 keys 'The one on the nail is to easy and obvious, so I will go for the one on the floor.' He thought to himself. "Oh, quick question... What if I brake the moving wall?" He asked.

Drawing in some of the man's energy, Varius commented, "I'm always prepared, but people like me an animal-human hybrid are usually hated... Aren't you afraid of your reputation? If not, then let's get these tests started I'm ready to protect and serve, whether people hate me or not."

"WHAT?!? No, that can't be right... He was just fine when I helped him take down a thief yesterday." Varius stated in shock. As he listed to the officer he heard 'Take on the role.' And his eyes went wide, " I will take on the role of sheriff just teach me the job and I will do it whole heartedly." Reaching out for a handshake. "I look forward to working with you... All of you in fact, and before you decline my offer I would like you to think about it, you have no recommendations from the late sheriff Gumshoe and no one is stepping up, so I think I am your only option now." Varius says with an innocent smile on his face.

Varius woke up after sleeping for practically 24 hours, he noticed he was still in the library but didn't notice anyone there so he got up a little weak in the legs but continued forward. He opened the door to the outside and looked around, to find out if anyone he knew was nearby. He then realized he hasn't looked at his Journal, he opened it up and read 'Take on the role.' "Take on the role?" He asked himself, well I guess I should head to the sheriffs' department. Be headed there and opened the door walked up to the first person he saw and ask, "Hello, is Gunshoe available?"

Varuis disappointed by everyone he has met so far since no one wants to shake hands with him, but he takes the book, heads to a table, sits down and collapses on top the book almost like he fell asleep with his valuables still in his messenger bag that is on his shoulder. (Sorry this is a short one, but not sure what else I can add to it.)

Varius weakly held out his hand for a hand shake going in and out of conciseness needing life force really badly now, and said exhaustively "Do you have... Any ... Books... On... Animal people?"

Varius looking at his hand somewhat disappointed that Jynn didn't shake his hand but shrugged it off, 'I guess he is scared of me since I have animal features and I just used magic.' He thought to himself, he smiled and waved at Jynn, his horse, and Fennel and turned around to head to the library wanting to learn more about his heritage and why animal people were and still are hated. He does feel the pain of using to much of his life force and knows that he needs to find someone to get some energy from before he collapses from exhaustion. He reaches the library slamming the doors open and calling out "HELLO!?!?" Using all of his upper body strength to keep himself up leaning against the info desk.

Varius bowed "Thank you, I might just do that." He headed towards Jynn and reached his hand out to shake hands, secretly needing to drain someone's life energy "Sorry about that, I was just trying to help out the detective to catch the thief, I didn't mean to get innocent bystanders caught up in the damage, I hope you are ok."

It's fine... Not like I am trying to catch a thief or anything, JK JK. No rush, do what you can.

Varius noticed the sheriff going around the corner hoping to help the sheriff as another way to apologize he followed him as well as the thief to take the thief down. He turned the corner and pulled his sword out and charged his life energy into the sword he swings the sword following the path next to the thief hoping to slow the thief down with the debris caused by the force of the cut.

Varius looked at the sheriff somewhat disappointed his the sheriff's reaction and bowed his head, "I am terribly sorry, I meant no harm... I was hoping it might brighten someones day. If I disturbed you in some way I have some bread for food if you want some." He takes out the piece of bread and held it out for the sheriff to take with a big smile on his face showing he has no ulterior motive. "It was a journal entry, to assert yourself to law enforcement. I decided 'what better way to assert yourself then to yell good morning', but I guess I went about it the wrong way, and I wish for your forgiveness. I hope you all have a wonderful day and wish the best of luck to the rest of your life." He hopes that is enough to get him out of trouble even though he didn't mean to and wants to read up on the history of humans with animal features, so he begins to head to the library hoping someone has written a book on something as important as that.

Varis woke up from the hard ground, and looked into his journal for an entry 'Assert yourself to law enforcement'. 'Seems easy enough' He thought to himself as he began walking towards the city. He knew he had to take care of the journal entry before almost anything else, as he was walking he decided to eat some bread for breakfast. He felt the nasty looks that people were giving him just like everywhere else he went, but he just smiled and waved at the people and as he did that they turned there heads away. He headed to the law enforcement office and slammed the door open shouting "MORNING EVERYONE!!!!" Making sure that he was noticed by everyone.
