It's easy to say something just to appease some people. He's the creative director for the whole series, he might not 'show interest', but I can 100% guarantee that with all these flaming spin-offs, it certainly was a factor for him.

I literally feel the only point of having Coded in there was to keep Nomura's promise of a game every year until KH3 (another thing i'm annoyed about because without all this faffing he could've made the wait much shorter).

oookay okay okay you know this morning, I woke up happy. I got a solid 10 hours sleep and I was feeling fresh. Now I see this "2.8" crap and MAN OH MAN am I vexed, and y'know i'm supposed to be Demyx, he's chilled out right? RIGHT?! Now there's some stuff i've gotta get off my chest, feel free to argue against me (but only constructively I don't want any defensive peeps in my thread). First things first, let's talk about the games that have already come out: Okay Kingdom Hearts, I actually have no qualms about this game, in fact, it's probably my favourite. Well done. Kingdom Hearts II. In my opinion it's good but it's overrated. The Disney worlds have now become a gimmick rather than integral to the story like KH's was, likely to be used to pawn games over to the market (which, as i'll explain, they do a lot of during the current course of this series). I thought the fighting in Kingdom Hearts actually had some strategy to it, especially with dem boss fights (Cerberus) but noope, now they resort to a crappy triangle button mash which magically decimates all your enemies, yaay for satisfaction? Granted there were a lot of things I liked about KHII, such as the organization, but there were some absolutely crappy moments - EG What the heck was the Goofy death scene? WHAT A WASTE OF MY LIFE-FORCE. What the heck was the battle of 1000 Heartless which was, and I maintain to this day, the biggest dogcrap button-mash boss battle freaking dissappointment in the whole series. Plus where did the difficulty go, bro, too lazy to make complex AI in your game mechanics? Before I move on to Chain of Memories (HAHAHAHA CoM) i'd just like to make a passing comment on the Final Mixes. STOP WHORING MONEY. DON'T MAKE GAMERS AND YOUR FANS, WITHOUT WHOM YOU'D BE IRRELEVANT FORK OUT AN EXTRA LOAD FOR CRAP THAT SHOULD'VE ALREADY HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! IN THE UK THAT WOULD BE LIKE 80 firetruckING QUID OR NEARLY 200 DOLLARS FOR THE SAME GAME TWICE. Hahahaha Chain of Memories time hahaha, so i'm not really sure what was going through Nomura's head when he originally planned this crap out. So he decides to make an essential-to-story game on a freakin' Gameboy, where the technology was so underdeveloped and the game so freaking dreadful that they decided to make a remake of it (see this money whoring coming into play again), where they should have made it in the first place! Indeed, this was a chance to resurrect the game and re-work it to make it into the classic formula that was the first. BUT NO, KEEP THE WANK GAME MECHANICS BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO FULLY REWORK IT. And when KH2 rolled around a few years after the Gameboy Advanced crap, was anyone else lost? Because I was, so I had to go and buy a gameboy (warning: I do alot of buying new consoles just to play this series) and play the game just so I could know what was going on BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO RELEASE THE PS2 REMAKE IN EUROPE. Next we come to Days, don't really have any qualms with the inclusion of this either except I do because 50% the game was awful and had no relevance to the story, just repetitive grind because you had to fill the game because you needed enough content to whore another £30 off of me yet couldn't create enough actual genuine story. :). MONEY SPEND COUNT (INC. NEW CONSOLES SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DAMN GAME): £165 (roughly) Next comes Birth By Sleep, y'know this was actually a good game and I really liked it. Just have a few problems with this as well: A) The AI are still awesome and actually have no intelligence in their play. B) I HAD TO BUY A WHOLE PSP FOR THIS ONE GAME BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS A MUST-HAVE FOR THE STORY. C) Really the whole existence of this game was completely down to the fact that Square wanted even more money and did KH1 and KH2 really need it? D) This game spawned more questions than answers, which leads to... (are you ready) EVEN MORE MONEY WHORING!@!@!@! Coded: I'm not even going to waste my time on this crap. MONEY SPEND COUNT (INC. NEW CONSOLES ): £395 (roughly) 3D: Good but not great, the whole concept of this game was based on a gimmick sellpoint. By this time we've waited 7 freaking years and only now do we have an advancement in the plot... BUT NO WAIT YOU'RE GOING BACK TO YOUR YOUNGER SELVES IN THE DREAM WORLD. By now the plot has become completely screwed up it's own butt in it's own cute-sy little way and in what has become the most awesome gaming move of the century, AXEL/LEA NOW HAS A KEYBLADE WELL DONE REALLY CLEVER I SAY MARVELOUS (still love the series though I promise) The main advertisement for this game was "The true sequel to Kingdom Hearts II." If that's so true, why don't you make it on the console. MONEY SPEND COUNT (INC. NEW CONSOLES: £425 And now come the HD Remixes.. *breath, breath*.......... The money whoring has finally come to fruition ladies and gentlemen. Because, y'know, when I originally heard about this I actually thought it was a good idea when I first heard about it... BUT WAIT, THERE WAS A CATCH AS ALWAYS. Y'see they could've done a kind thing and put both Kingdom Hearts's in one nice little box to tide us over for Kingdom Hearts 3, because the purpose of this was to 'attract new fans' which it really failed at, because 95% of the people who played it were already fans who are waiting for a game that should've already have come out 5 years ago. BUT NOPE, Y'SEE THAT'S NOT CORPORATE ENOUGH FOR SQUARE-ENIX. INSTEAD, THEY GIVE US CHAIN OF MEMORIES A 3RD TIME. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'VE ACTUALLY MANAGED TO WHORE NEARLY £100 FROM ME FOR THE SECOND MOST CRAPPIEST GAME IN THE WHOLE SERIES. They also give us a Days movie, therefore admitting that the game was so crap and devoid of content that they didn't even bother making a remake for it. And a year later, out comes the second one for yet another 40 quid. So that's £80 i've spent playing the same crap i've already played before in slightly better (but not really) graphics. It's funny that they add in BbS to beef it up a bit, but the fact of the matter is, if they weren't whoring for money they would've put it on a console in the first place. AND NOW HERE'S 2.8 YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY FOR THAT. Containing content for: 3D, WHICH IF THEY WANTED THAT SO MUCH, SHOULD'VE ALREADY HAVE BEEN MADE ON A CONSOLE IF IT WAS THAT IMPORTANT. X, which I have no idea about since it's only been released in Japan for a decent period of time and been on the European market for about 5 minutes, way to alienate your fans. AND YES 0.2 YES WOW TIME FOR QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED IN A GAME THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN RAISED SAID QUESTIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU WEREN'T SUCH MONEY-WHORES. Also why if KH3 is for both Xbone and PS4, would you only make 2.8 for PS4? Clever, real freakin' clever. TOTAL SPENDAGE: £505 (roughly) I'm just going to be blunt about this, if you have any monetary sense you wouldn't buy 2.8, i'd advise you just to read up about it instead because they've already mentioned that KH3 won't be the last, which i'm completely dumbfounded about since the whole series gravitates around Xehanort and his mis-deeds. They're going to do this to you time and time again, because i'm afraid, in the end, all companies care about is your money. One of the main reasons i'm so angry right now is because I love this series so much and i'm just so frustrated by it, I'm starting to feel I only play it now for the nostalgia, because the fact of the matter is, this series probably should've ended long ago. It could have been a perfect PS2 trilogy, but now it has been extended long beyond and into the future purely because Square see the starry lights of the numbered paper. I'm tired of waiting for KH3, I was 4 when I played KH for the first time, and it was one of my first games, probably why I love it so much. I'm now nearly 17, 17! I feel sorry for casual fans now, because they're not going to have a clue about KH3 when it comes out it's been convoluted that much. Good day.
