  1. Nora felt a small bit of relief at seeing the Kokiri boy alright. Pixi was correct, he had been gone for quite a while. His embarrassment was quite adorable. "It is nice to meet you, miss Malon. I am Nora Paulson. You may call me Nora. How long have you known Kai?" Rabiyu was right, they really needed to move on. Things would likely get even more dangerous from here, so it was even more important to get to know everyone very well.
  2. Nah, school tried to drown me in homework and finals, but other than that I'm fine. Apparently my sense of humor is a bit too morbid. Sorry. And thanks, Xiro.
  3. Aello had been slightly zoned out. 'The man in the cloak.' A seeker? All the ones she had seen had summoned heartless. Heartless were creatures of darkness, why would they use something they hated so much? And how? And could they summon taco heartless? And then Zar... She wanted to trust them. If Zar had left voluntarily and wasn't hurt, she would trust him to come back to them safely soon. If he was gone for more than a day, though, she would retrieve the secret weapon from Joel and give both cookies to Saki. Raz would probably give up and force Zar to take control within a few minutes. Aello was finally snapped out of her reverie when Master Zion started shouting. "Hmm?" Wait, someone was being mean to Allit? She should have paid more attention. And ten pages of homework... That was just cruel and unusual. She would be lucky to get through one without too much distraction, but... "Wait, what?! You can't lock Allit up!" Umm, they needed reasoning. What had Master Zion said again? "You said you need to keep an eye on her, and Master Sora didn't save anyone by throwing them in a cell! Please, Master Zion?"
  4. Hi everyone, I'm not dead! I was just surviving another one of life's murder attempts, but I'm back now.
  5. I would like to apologize for my extended absence and request permission to jump back in at the next opportunity. I promise that I will not disappear for a month again unless I have college applications, five tests and three projects in one week, then go out of the country for a week, then come back to a week of tests every day right before finals week, all while trying to prepare for an orchestra concert and arrange a piece of music for a friend of mine. Since these circumstances were all pretty irregular, hopefully this works out to mean I will not abandon you all again.Thank you for your patience.~Key
  6. Nora found herself smiling again at her comrades antics. These people were all so strange, but it wasn't really bad. It was more like a breath of fresh air compared to the stuffy, bureaucratic, power-hungry idiots she normally had to deal with. Alright, maybe they weren't all that bad, but at least a few were close. Still, she couldn't believe that they had slept till seven. Normally she would wake up around five. She tried to think if she had done anything to strenuous yesterday, but drew a blank. 'Maybe I really do trust these people, to be so at ease as to abandon my normal tight schedule.' No use dwelling on it. Finishing checking all her gear, the knight followed the enigmatic ranger out the door. "I don't have a favorite time to travel, really." She stated. "Time limitations due to level of light and strength of monsters aren't useful, so I ignore them and deal with the consequences as they happen."
  7. "Double idea!" Aello shouted. "I vote we keep your idea, but we both do it, switching off in a pattern of flashy attacks and movement!" Confusion tactics, one of the plans that had worked best for them in the past when they did partner spars. "Of course, anyone else is welcome to join!" Without waiting to see if her friend would follow, she knew he would, she blasted herself forward with wind magic around her feet, hurling an aero at the place the monster had been, but carefully making sure that it wouldn't hit Joel. As her feet hit the ground, the acrobat used her momentum to shoot herself up higher into the air, coming down with a speedy vertical slash. "Dodge that, invisomonster!"
  8. Irene brushed a hair out of her eyes as she ran through the rain. She had narrowly escaped some White Noise by tricking them into a building and locking a door to delay them as she got out, but she wasn't willing to slow down yet. The noise were getting worse, and if she could help anyone else get out before she had to leave, she would. Just as she turned a corner, she heard a crash. "No!" She sprinted forward as the Red Noise lunged. Crashing into the black haired girl, she managed to push both of them out of the way, just a hairs breadth under the claws of the noise as it crashed by. Gasping slightly as she hit the ground and bounced a few times, Irene quickly pulled herself back to her feet. Red Noise were dangerous, it would be safer to run, but this girl looked like a fighter, and she didn't want to abandon anyone, even someone she just met. "Do you want to fight or run? Either way..." She started to hum as she trailed off. The melody was soft and calming, but slightly bittersweet, the notes almost melting into the pattern of the melancholic rain drops. Music was dangerous in places like this, as it attracted noise, but they would need to move as fast as they could to survive this encounter.

  11. Nora was on her feet with her sword fully drawn a half second after her eyes snapped open. She really couldn't be blamed, though. She had just woken up, there was a loud noise, and there was an unfamiliar person standing in the room. Another half second later, she recognized Pixi's voice. Smiling apologetically, the knight sheathed her blade and picked up the blanket she had dropped. A healing fairy? That would be useful, and Pixi's seemed quite excited about it, so, "Congratulations, Pixi. You look very nice." Calmly folding the blanket, Nora walked neck to the closet and put it where she had found it.
