Amina unequipped her Keyblade armor as the figure left, but kept Ascent out just in case. 'How convenient that the 'bad guy' left a trail for us to get exactly where we want to go.' She couldn't help but wonder if this was a trap. Ah well, they were already in the dream so they might as well try to fix it. Amina quickly followed Kiru though the rip.

You didn't believe me when I said I had good luck? apparently even when someone else is controlling it...

Aello's attention drifted for a moment as she watched a tumbleweed float across the jungle, mouth open in shock and amazement. This was not a place she had expected to find one of those awesome plants in... She quickly snapped back to reality, shouting her agreement to Joel's decision. "Alright! To the temple!" She pointed randomly like a dramatic adventurer before pausing. "Um... Which way is it again?"

Maggie looked over the remaining enemies. She and Lenord could probably handle the first Mage... "Alright, now it's my turn!" Attack: Maggie decided to go for a head on attack against Mage 1, they probably didn't have a strong enough defense to stop her.

Amina tried moving different parts of her body to see what she could still do. Her arms weren't too restricted, but her feet and core were much harder to move. Obviously physical attacks were out of the question, so... She switched back into Wisdom Form, charging up a Graviga spell. "If enduring pain is what it takes to preserve others' lives and happiness," the light warrior cast the gravity spell on Derik, trying to lower him back to the earth before releasing it and beginning a Curaga, "then I will take that path with pride." The Curaga she sent to Kiru. She finished with a Thundaga at the black cloaked figure. "As for giving up, that has never been an option."

For perhaps the first time ever Aello couldn't come up with something to say. Taco heartless would be insanely cool, but this... This was a talking llama. And that was the most amazing thing she had ever even heard of. So, very eloquently, she could only say "Woah!" Naturally, after she got over her initial awe her curiosity won out, and the student started bouncing a tiny bit in contained excitement. "Excuse me Mr. Llama. Could you tell me how you can talk?"

Amina took a second to observe before acting. She was no longer in valor form, Derik had used an upward hook that would send the new enemy into the air, and Kiru was attacking close range already. She didn't want to get in their way, so it would have to be magic. That wasn't her strong suit, but it she figured it would be effective if she used her Wisdom form. Plus, a bit of extra speed might be nice. She switched forms, gliding across the ground to reach a better angle, sending blue sparks up around her feet as she moved. 'What spell?' Thundaga was slightly less accurate, she didn't want to affect Derik. Bizzaga might be more useful, it could slow the black cloaked figure down a bit for her allies. She needed to get slightly closer, then. Amina pulled in to about three meters from the other combatants and fired one Blizzaga. This one would hopefully hit from the right. Just in case, though, she fired two more as she moved forwards, one behind and one to the left. The one in back was aimed slightly higher, an attempt to cut off a vertical escape route. Then she pulled away a bit more, waiting to see what else she could do.

Aello couldn't help but laugh a tiny bit at Saki's antics. "Umm, Ms. Heartless, dragging them is probably louder than having them walk..." She pointed out. "Oh, and Saki, what is your Heartless friend's name again?" She figured it would be hard for the poor monkey creature to tell who she was talking to if she continued addressing her as Ms. Heartless all the time, but she hadn't caught the name Saki used for it earlier.

"Self defense sure, making an opening in defense of the heartless over there," Amina gestured toward Ansem, "not so nice." The appearances of the nobodies was slightly shocking, it was obvious they had had unfortunate heart transplants from a certain ancient sociopath. It didn't change anything, though. She was still there to help defeat them. Derik and Artorias had Axel and Roxas covered, so... Amina switched quickly to valor form, jumping directly behind Kiru's Firaga aimed at Xion. She could use that as a distraction. Then she focused on her strikes. 'Left up, back down and use that blade to shield and push her opponent away, right stab, both blades diagonal slash, finish it with a spin to gain some breathing room and more space to dodge counter attacks,' she thought to herself as she worked.

And so the group was all back together again. Aello couldn't help but wonder why a bouncywild was following Saki around, but hey. At least it wasn't trying to eat him. Then she started hearing voices up ahead. Normally she would have just run up ahead to see what was going on, but with the mansion incident still fresh in her mind, the Keyblade student realized maybe that wasn't the best idea. "Can you guys here what those voices are saying?" Aello asked the others. "I can't quite make it out..."

It sounds like the traits that I dismissed were actually rather important... My excuse is that four hours of standardized testing fried my brain yesterday. On the bright side, I don't have to take the ACT ever again.I can't wait to see how all those contradictions play out in how he relates to the other SOLs... This is going to be interesting!

If it makes you feel better I do this for everyone, I just don't always organize or share it. But since there aren't even reference pictures for the antagonists yet, I figured sharing any information or decent guesses I had was a good idea.

Alright, I have some time, cause my babysitting kids are asleep, parents don't get home for a while, and I finished all the homework I brought with me, so it's time to micro-analyze! I'm going with Firaga Sensei's SOL for now, as Black hood doesn't have as much info. I will analyze by post. Obviously probably not much of this is true, but I like guessing. 1! SOL starts out hiding in the shadows- obviously contradictory as he is part of a group that hates darkness, but it is a stereotypical ominous villain entrance, so unless it becomes a trend I'll let it pass for now. Also, shows intelligence and experience by observing before acting. Amused by "blissful ignorance"- written almost sentimentally, implies that he considers his past self or someone he used to know ignorant or innocent, probably lost that quality or person a while ago as it is reminiscent but not bitter or hateful... Actually with last writing hint taken into account, it was more likely a character trait that he lost rather than a friend. Jumps down onto the stairs, face concealed except for red eyes- flair for dramatics? Once again, classic villain. I'll ignore it if it doesn't continue. Said assignment sounded boring- probably enjoys a good fight, maybe a worthy adversary type antagonist? Choice of insult "Keyblade loving"- doesn't like keyblades. Interpretation varies depending on whether he uses a Keyblade or not, but I might not know that for a while as an unnamed character dragged Aello out of the room before I could find out. Twice! :I Of course it's possible that he uses one weapon but also has a Keyblade, it would be a nice trick if we thought we had him captured and disarmed... Anyway, the one thing I can think of for both is that a dark Keyblade, whether his own or another person's, took the "ignorant bliss" from him or another person. Either through the murder of loved ones or he blames Xehanort for a friend/ family members death when the worlds fell into darkness or something like that. This could also lead to him joining the SOLs. 2!! Described as cocky and malicious- exactly what it says on the can, but this is a weaker emotion for him than irritation. Maybe not as outright "bad" as he looks? That said, it could also be his composure, which even Saki barely dents. More on that later. The rest of the post basically shows extreme confidence in his abilities bordering on pride as he is insulted at being sort of dismissed. Also, once again, looking for a good fight. 3!!! "That was fast..."- wants to fight again. This time described as sadistic, could be a result of combination of emotions, maybe still irritated at Saki running off, or maybe just for scare/ malicious factor like the appearance last time. Maybe shows experience and skill again, trying to psyche opponents out, thus winning before the fight even starts? "Well, well, well..."- malicious display, see above? Also, classic villain dramatic entrance again. 4!!!! Getting old fast- irritation again, but still mild. Have some fun with- looking for a good fight still, see above for conclusions. Just a front?- good observational skills, experience. Big mistake- here is that confidence again, but it is looking more and more like that might be well earned. Summons dusks- once again, pride. Won't fight someone who won't take him totally seriously from the start. Pride with the mocking as well, another classic villain stroke. Seems excited about finishing off Saki and Aello- might be as sadistic as his smile implied, maybe that isn't all showmanship? Underestimates the excitable duo- prideful again? 5!!!!! Saki sticks his head inside the guy's hood and he is just a pain in the neck?- this is the composure I was talking about. Most characters would have at least tried to shred him by now, by this guy... Woah! That is off the charts control. Notices potential mistakes- not quite as prideful as I thought? Doesn't think himself perfect. This could also play into experience and intelligence, too. Murderous, but still regains composure. Fades quickly back to frustration- see my description on post 4!!!!, awesome control. Also, this might be a pattern, having spontaneous bursts of "evil" emotion and then just irritated. Almost decides to leave- practical, realizes nothing is getting done beside him getting annoyed. 6!!!!!! Keyblade loving again- just take note, it is a continuous thing. 7!!!!!!! Fed up with playing around- irritation= default emotion? Leaves- see end of post 5!!!!! Summary (because super long post is super long)- we have a villain that likes to be stereotypically "dramatic evil." He goes into spontaneous fits of anger or malice when provoked, but quickly fades back to irritation. He is either sadistic and or just loves a good fight, and is annoyed when people don't give him the respect he sees himself as deserving, occasionally bordering on prideful or just very sure of himself. He can also see his own flaws, though, which will make him more dangerous... He is experienced and observes before acting, and makes several very intelligent choices. He also has great self control. Finally, my least stable argument, he probably has trauma in his past having to do with darkness, keyblades, and loss of ignorance. Tell me if you noticed anything else. This is one of the first times I have shared my observations, after all. What do you think?

I got bored and doodled this up during class, in case anyone was wondering what Amina's Keyblade Armor looks like.

Amina was pushed back a tiny bit, but otherwise a avoided damage as the orb hit, and then Rae finished off the cage. "Thanks guys." Amina nodded at Rae and Kiru. "I can talk to the thieves." But first she had to get over there, which was easier said than done with Ansem shooting shadow orbs everywhere. 'Focus. There has to be some sort of pattern.' She looked for a few seconds while darting to the side to avoid an orb. 'Of course. He's shooting where we are most concentrated for now. That gets us to split up and has a higher chance of hitting someone. Clever.' She dodged another orb, making sure that she continued moving towards the cloaked figures as she did so. 'Speaking of clever...' "Would anyone like to come with me? It's likely that Ansem is just being used as a distraction so that the black coated people can steal everything they came for. If that's the case we should focus our attacks on them." Another dodge, this one was closer. She had to duck to avoid it. Better take an arcing path away from the group. Slower, but less risky. After a couple more close calls she was almost close enough to attack the thieves. "I don't suppose asking nicely would convince you to return the raft parts..." She thought out loud. "Oh, and it wasn't very nice of you, throwing oblivion in my way earlier. That could have turned into a nasty mess."

Aello paused in her awesome tree examination when she saw movement in the canopy. And then it started raining Heartless! "Woah!" She exclaimed as she summoned her Keyblade. "Heartless monkey! That is almost as awesome as a heartless taco... In the name of the heartless taco whose awesomeness you are trying to surpass, I will defeat you!" She informed the heartless before jumping into the air, using a quick aero to jump higher. She aimed a few quick slashes at a Powerwild, knocking it backwards as she fell back towards the ground.

'well,' Amina thought as she looked at the cage of darkness forming around her while the red of her valor form faded, 'that could have turned out better.' She quickly summoned her Keyblade armor, figuring that a bit of extra protection couldn't hurt if her plan failed. "Thank you for the option," she said in a polite tone after Ansem had said his part, "but no way." With that Amina started attacking the darkness around her. 'If it can stop me from getting out, maybe it is solid enough to cut.'

Amina used her Keyblade to block the oncoming punch, taking a few steps back to absorb the impact. Where did that thing come from anyways? She glanced backward toward the barrier where she thought the heartless had been before, and saw multiple versions of it attacking the others. If this creature was the one making the barrier work, then... She quickly switched to master form, dodging past most of the orbs moving forward toward Ansem and the guardian, but stumbling slightly as one scraped her shoulder. She quickly executed a diagonal downward slash, using her momentum to spin herself back behind her opponents and strike at the heartless' back, hoping to be able to get a combo in before they turned, but still keeping an eye on the location of the mysterious Keyblade user.

"Before you go," Aello handed Joel a package wrapped in a napkin. "This is a secret weapon! Only give it to Saki if you run into a bad guy who truly deserves to be annoyed to death." She then returned to bouncing around admiring the strange looking awesome trees. She gave Joel both the cookies, just in case.

Amina pocketed the Wayfinder, and then moved as quickly as she could to attack the Dark cloaked figure. Ansem she knew a bit about, but the figure was a complete unknown. If she could get rid of them quickly, this battle would be a lot less complicated. Of course, she would have to make sure she was keeping track of both her opponents until that happened. A diagonal slash followed by a quick stab would do for now, she was just testing the waters.

Aello nodded. "I promise." After Saki walked away to give Master Zion his souvenir, Aello bounced over to the cookies and took two, wrapping them in a napkin and hiding them in a secret pocket for later.

I am guessing one based off of The Emperor's New Groove. But the sky isn't blue because it reflects the ocean, gosh dang it! The molecules and compounds in the sky reflect blue more than the other colors that are part of the white light from the sun, partially because of the angle/ distance traveled by the white light and partially because of their composition, which is why the sky changes colors when the sun sets. The ocean has Nothing to do with it! Ok, I'm done being angry now.
