  1. I'm none too happy about KH3's demo being in an open area at gamescom with no real lines. That could end up in chaos and I don't want to be burried on the massed and have countless people cutting the line again like with the demos of 2.8.
  2. While it's not completely impossible for something to appear there since FFXV did receive a new trailer at gamescom, it doesn't have much of a history for appearing there apart from demos and already published footage. Then again, Paris Games Week didn't really have any news before either and they dropped the opening for 0.2 out of nowhere, so who knows? I'm personally not expecting too many changes to the demo either. Mainly because the demos look fairly good and, apart from the glowing walls and the floatiness, most people didn't take that much issue with it. I'd rather have them focus on the main game than improving the demo anyway. I like that they're taking criticism into consideration, but there's no necessity to go out of their way. 0.2 was a special case because the models really didn't look good and gave an exceptionally bad impression of the end product, so an improvement there was needed more than for KH3's demo in my opinion. Despite this rather bland outlook from me, it would be a lie to say I'm not wishing for something to appear. I always do. But I'm also a realist and try to keep my expectations as low as possible because this way, I won't be disappointed. It definitely has a chance but until proven otherwise, I'll just treat this as another station for their marketing without any news. It's a big event that I'm glad I'll be able to attend, but I also know it's not always regarded as such in terms of big revelations, probably due to its proximity to E3 and being located in Europe, which is not often treated with the same importance as NA or JP.
  3. You're right, it's not, but it's undoubtedly the largest and as mentioned before, SE is located there. I can understand the frustration, but they cannot be everywhere and close to everyone, so they have to choose the location which will benefit both the company and the people the most. And that would be London in this case. Just as it is in other big cities in other countries. It also depends on the events taking place there and what would be most sensible marketing-wise. For example, it's coming to Cologne in Germany and not Berlin, the capital, because of the gamescom taking place in the former city. Since that is an event with a large target audience and both national and international attendees, it makes sense to do it there. I can imagine that a lot of people would like to play jt but can't because of distance. I'm also driving 500km to Cologne (though not solely for KH3), but this type of marketing also costs lots of money so they have to select the places which reach the largest quantity of potential buyers while still covering an adequate amount of different countries to appeal to people who are not so well-versed in English to follow everything online. In the end, London is not only the best choice because of its size, space and reach, but also out of convenience. Traveling far also is a matter of organizing transport for example and the people who get to play mainly receive the opportunity for free. On the contrary, SE often even has to pay for their booths. Marketing is an investment and KH3, while having evolved from a very niche game, is still not as big as other titles which could afford extensive marketing.
  4. For me it depends mostly on the games and whether I desperately want to play them but otherwise, I wait around a year or until the first price drop. If there is more than one game I'd like to play, that is. I only buy consoles when there's something interesting for me to play after all and not just a single game either. Other than that, I like to wait and see if the console is prone to technical problems. I want to spare myself the hassle of exchanges, repairs and lost save data as much as I can. Of course it can always be an exemption at any point of time, but a lot of consoles have shown issues for more than one person in the weeks after their release and while it usually means no monetary loss, it still causes problems I'd rather avoid.
  5. Thank you! Too many firsts this time. I'm cosplaying as Kairi, though as a Red Mage. My friend is doing Aqua as a Black Mage and another Naminé as a White Mage.
  6. Less than 2 weeks until gamescom and I'm only halfway done with my cosplay. That's gonna be close...
  7. As far as I'm concerned, everything is fine now. If someone misreads this or doesn't understand, there's nothing much you can do to make it clearer imo and you'll have to ask the person themself what the issue was. Because right now, it looks like a very defined overview of your commissions.
  8. Perhaps you might also want to add lineart to your offer? A sketch would be what the name implies, a rough drawing with no perfect lines. A lineart is basically an unshaded version but with smooth outlines. That might be a very clear distinction. Though that's up to you.
  9. section completely and just put a manga page as a version or differentiate between colored and black and white drawings. Also specify what details would cost extra, like if an additional person costs more but at a discounted price and perhaps give examples what each category means by using pictures. I have no problem with those deacriptions since they're often used but some people apparently don't get it.
  10. I think most of it is pretty clear, the only thing I don't understand is the difference between Sketch/Full-Colored and the Manga Style. What does Manga Style mean, except for an entire Manga page? From what I can see, most of your art is in a mangaesque style, so that can be confusing. (Because even if manga is usually black and white, colored pages do exist. And everything is called manga as long as it's not animated. I'd explain what the difference is or remove that s...
  11. I'm really bad with shows that are episodic... I somehow can't keep up with them and hardly ever find the motivation to do so, despite missing out on great series due to that. I guess it's also the fear that they'll take forever to finish them and after watching 4 seasons, it suddenly deteriorates or gets canceled. Movies are easier in that regard. I think the only superhero related series I ever watched as a whole was Teen Titans, though that's DC and not Marvel.
  12. Or people are on vacation. It's the middle of summer after all.
  13. Confirmed or not, we still couldn't be 100% sure since it is not the first time these numbers are heavily exaggerated. I remember a similar estimate for FFXV being officially confirmed and in the end it was way below that statement.
  14. Of course there will always be people paying for them but I stopped investing from time to time and even those from my party who've been buying every week have stopped altogether. Even those very invested into the game who've created damage calculators and such have abandoned it and it is quite the worrying development. From a casual standpoint, the game is fine. I don't play several hours per day either because there are more fun things to do.
  15. Which is an understandable mindset. In that regard, I don't take any issue with people giving it a different rating and I won't ever try to persuade someone. Apart from my personal frustration, I am also worried the game is on the best way of imploding or being driven into a wall. Generally f2p Apps without ads like these depend on some people paying for them to keep them running and now people are so angry that even those buying Jewels every week begin to leave the game.
  16. I'm not saying the entire game deserves that rating. But it's a statement because bad ratings and people ceasing to buy jewels cannot be ignored at some point. The game dropped over 0.5 stars in the last week or so because people are legitimately angry. This is not a f2p issue but affects even paying users and so many people are tired of being treated like that where it progressively becomes worse. They could do so much to even it out and still make it worthwhile to buy jewels.
  17. Event medals are almost useless now too and only come around ever so often when they were more common a year and a half ago. If you enjoy it for what it is, that's fine and understandable. But the 1★ rating is justified if there's no other way to communicate with the development team anymore. Complaints are ignored and they only ever fix things that were not in need of fixing. And if massive amount of negative reviews don't work anymore, what other choice is there?
  18. I'm not aiming to get in an argument here since it's really a matter of perspective, but there's not so much to enjoy anymore in comparison to the beginning. Back then we had the Jewel discrepancy, yes, but most egents were still fully doable without a top tier setup. And that includes powerful medals. Now you can barely get through these events with strategy or skill anymore like we used to but it's a matter of who has the most luck and the best medals.
  19. But I can understand your point of view as well. For people just wanting to enjoy the story, this game is fairly easy to beat by now without investing a single cent. In that regard, the game won't have any issues for those players, which is at least something. Even old medals are useful since the quests do not require the newest medals each week so from that standpoint, the game certainly deserves a better rating. It's all a matter of perspective and yours is just as valid.
  20. That is the other choice. I don't condemn anyone for playing and even paying for it. People can still enjoy it for free and it has potential. It's just that the global version in particular is spiraling out of control and many peole very invested in the game have reached the limit of their patience and good-will at this point. Not only because of the differences between JP and global but also because of the increasingly negative decisions which degrade players to cash cows.
  21. It would be different if it was just "money for some things". At this point, you need money for nearly everything except for the story quests.
  22. point, the cash-grab has become too much and it deserves those ratings. The ratings just dropped because players have no other way to communicate anymore apparently. The developers don't listen and even paying users have stopped with this game. The essence of this game isn't necessarily bad, people are just furious how it's handled.
  23. I've invested a bit into this game and find myself hardly any better than a lucky f2p player since the RNG in this game is atrocious. Everything is locked behind luck or money and PVP took the cake in that regard because the paying users get even stronger while the rest is left in the dust and barely can defeat RBs on their own anymore at times. Then the silver tickets have a 50% chance of giving you an essentially worthless Blue Fairy at this point. The game could be fun but at this...
  24. *least for some NPCs and the player, they just let us go through the Disney plot again and again. Japan got the last relevabt story update 10 months ago. Even if it continues after KH3, that's far too long when we know virtually nothing and only ever get fillers. Then there's the whole issue with p2w. I have no problem paying a bit here and there to support the game but 15$ for a discounted pull where you're not even guaranteed to get something good?
