  1. But we just count the 3 musketeers as one of Mickey's Many adventures. Kinda to remember the life of Mickey before he became King, as if the convoluted time line isnt convoluted enough
  2. Yeah, i feel that, some films have to work around to get a film into place. But as it showed for the last 7 games now, the worlds feel more like a pit stop to level up and fight the bad guys. Thats really it. Hope KH3 fixes that. Though that being said, we will never see a Black Cauldron remake, since the key animators of that film (Tim Burton, Andreas Deja, Glen Keane, Eric Goldberg, etc) and Disney Animation just don't want to be associated with the film or go back thinking about. But again we don't know what Zootopia has to offer till the entire film releases (though ideas with concept art and scenes that i've already seen, seem to open ideas) and i rather have that over Robin Hood (even though i love the film)
  3. Thing is you have to look at multiple occasions for a world. Much like Disney Infinity, there goes a selection progress. And while we do know Nomura has personal favorites, and asks the teams to look for ideas that would be unique, you also have to look at it by a business standpoint and how Disney Animation takes it. As in... Does this world not only gather an interest from KH fans, but the general public as well Is it worth advertising scenes of the game with x type of characters from x film. I say that cause Disney Animation has personal thoughts on their own. You can bet we won't see The Black Cauldron because its considered as one of Disney's Worst Films and "That one Disney flick that lost to the CareBears movie". Sometimes films just don't have what its necessary to make it an interesting world. You might see bits and pieces of stuff from films like the Package Era (Saludos Amigos-Ichabod and Mr. Toad). I would love them to see a behind the scenes where they go to Disney Animation and have these meetings. Speaking of Zootopia, (don't read the Power Disc info for Disney Infinity, cause they spoil the ending to the film)
  4. I seriously don't understand what are all of you saying that of not being sure on Wreck it Ralph. There are 4 locations (5 for the cut Simslike world) Fix it Felix Jr, Hero's Duty, Sugar Rush, Game Central Station and again the cut Sims like world. Thats enough to have original characters walk around. Look at Roger Rabbit, that film references so many Cartoons, yet go to ToonTown at Disneyland, its all original characters. The film is not about the cameos (the cameos stop showing up 25 minutes in, and then its 1 or 2 more in the middle and 1 big group cameo at the end). Again, Both films are well into production (and Zootopia Post production). Don't you guys remember the Playstation Access video, Nomura has the honor of seeing Disney films early to get ideas. Heck Zootopia has a better chance than Robin Hood by the looks of it.
  5. Disagree with that Statement because remember, Nomura and the KH team are allowed to see films that have not yet been released. Zootopia is very well into heading to post production, as from the footage shown at D23 this past week.
  6. I for one do think that Zootopia will show. Reasons: Its in post production and its cross promotion at release (same can be said for Moana). I really dont think we are getting a Robin Hood world. Zootopia actually has the better premise and better conflicts. Its a city based on Habitats. Seeing the footage at D23, There is a lot to take in, You have Deserts, Sahara's, Polar Ice Caps, Rainforests, and an entire District run by tiny animals that reminded me of that Timeless River challenge where you're basically a giant. Seeing an Anthropomorphic Sora while Donald and Goofy kepping the same look. Nomura does see Disney films early to get ideas. If anything you should expect to see Nick and Judy as well as Moana and Maui as summons.
  7. I chose Tron for the reason that we could see it again in Radiant Garden, or even in the inclusion of a Wreck it Ralph world. Have a new take on the story just like how Tron Uprising had with the show (RIP) And Pirates as the Second, because of its clear symbolism and Dead Man's Chest was the only good sequel out of the 4. I really believe that most worlds are going to be current films, but as a third choice, the continuation of Deep Space shares a high interest of mine.
  8. I actually think we will see Jungle Book. Robin Hood, not so much. I have a feeling that Zootopia will be that one that has the upper hand. The film is already heading into post production, and it would be a great way to advertise the film. Note only that the different locations already in the city, plus seeing Sora as an Anthropomorphic Lion would give that reference to his original design.
  9. Again, if you're not going to explain something realistic to look forward to, what was the point of this thread? People have given you points because of new hardware, open worlds and ideas from concepts that weren't even touched on in the film. Let people imagine the possibilities. If you keep saying everything has to be grounded, then this thread should have died before it was even made.
  10. What i hope is that when we are seeing the struggle of the guardians vs the vessels, we see the struggle of the worlds we have been in. With Heartless/Nobodies attacking their worlds to showcase that its not just a smaller matter but one that affects the universe. With the characters of each world not giving up but can see the Darkness overtaking the worlds. And we see the after math when Xehanort gets defeated.
  11. I would say this, go read The Art of Big Hero 6, there is a bunch of beautiful artwork that they have made for the film, specifically the city. Not just that but also other character designs, cut villains and how lighting effected the film.
  12. What if the city had a destructible standpoint. As in Heartless, and you along with the 6 caused damage in the city? Just like what happens in comics/films and stuff. The only other world we saw have a remote aspect of that was Land of Dragons at the campsite.
  13. I didn't contradict myself with Tron. A lot don't remember the original Tron, the casual audience does know Tron Legacy, cause it was a blockbuster and people remember it for its visuals and its soundtrack (and popular it was cause you saw the uproar of the cancellation of Tron 3). And Pinocchio isn't forgotten because Disney still uses the characters in Merchandise and Theme parks (Let alone it has the most important song of Disney's Legacy). Your argument is saying that you want them to branch out to the classic era when they have pretty gotten the ones that have been used in others and are completed. And some films are better portrayed as just summons or characters in an original world (Dalmatians, Bambi, Dumbo, etc). Outside of what Disney categories have been used, the eras left untouched are the Package Wartime era (Saludos Amigos-Ichabod and Mr. Toad), the Dark Age (Aristocats-Great Mouse Detective), and the Recession (Dinosaur-Bolt), which are these that Disney doesn't like to push at all (which is they don't sell Merchandise and advertising forgotten films is a disadvantage. Epic Mickey was the exception because forgotten is the ground foundation of that game).
  14. They can live in Radiant Garden/Twilight/Traverse Town. If the Final Fantasy characters don't have a specific world, why should TWEWY
  15. Except Treasure Planet was a box office bomb, and its reception is mixed. No one saw it in the domestic box office and unless you know someone who mentions it, then it comes to attention of the casual audience. and just cause it aired on Disney Channel doesn't mean that it was popular, if that were the case then Every Disney film from the 90's would've played multiple times on the channel when in fact they don't. The argument of saying that KH has worlds that fit in is misleading to the fact that all of the choices of worlds are films that people actually remember. Even Tron Legacy, a film that a lot of people say they don't remember, ended up being a success, especially in the international market (hence Tron ride at Shanghai). The term of it being "Alien" is ridiculous. Just cause Hero or the rest of the revival era films have a different way of story telling doesn't mean anything. I'd guarantee that if Disney Animation continued to films like they did in 2000's, they wouldn't be here. Not everything can be a musical like the 90's and not everything can be the same way of "story telling" it was in the 2000's, remember Disney wasn't a filmmaker driven studio at the time from the 70's-2000's, they were executive driven.
  16. Exactly, I remember at the Discussion of Big Hero 6 at the Academy Arts of Motion Pictures, Don Hall (Director) said that Callaghan was healed. But He was healed in a more painful way of that being that he might never see his daughter again.
  17. Because People want to see something different. Most people know that Big Hero 6 is literally a world that Disney that is unique when comparing it to the other 57 films they've produced/ing. I know since I saw the film back in November, that i wanted to see this film in KH3. Whether it was flying with Baymax, going to fight Yokai with the other 6, or traveling through the entire city and going through each division (San Fransokyo has the layout of San Fran but has the amount of traffic and exaggeration of Tokyo). Also noting people who talk about this world have a point in making it full of life. That is the point of a city. Seeing a world with NPCs walking, driving, selling and running away from heartless. If the city isn't as detailed as the art shows it to be, then it would be a ghost town (which we already seen it with Notre Dame and The Grid or hearing the cheers of dead souls at the Olympus Colosseum.) Or how about going to battle with the entire Big Hero 6. They are not the Big Hero 6 if there are team mates missing, which Disney Animation has said themselves when the film was in press tour. Or what about having Sora trying to understand the topic of death in a down to earth situation, cause he hasn't experienced a death of a person of importance. And if you're just making this thread because you don't like these modern films, keep in mind thats an opinion. The fact is that Disney Animation is in a Hot Streak that hasn't been this good since the 90's. Since The Princess and the Frog, they've been making success both in critically and financially. Frog, as well as Tangled, Ralph, Frozen and Hero in Disney's eyes are considered as Walt Disney Classics, and they seem to not stop with Zootopia, Moana coming next year as well as Gigantic in 2017. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick and Judy (Zootopia) as well as Moana and Maui (Moana) appear as summons. You want to know which movies Disney doesn't consider classics? Fox and the Hound, Black Cauldron, every film from 2000-2008 (with exceptions of Emperor's New Groove and Lilo and Stitch). Hope i could explain at least one thing.
