  1. Odyn watched the battle excitedly. He wasn't sure whom to root for because both fighters did their best and honestly it was a sight to behold. He was looking forward to meet whichever of them would succeed and proceed to the next round, and he could only hope that both of would be able to leave the battleground on their two legs. Honestly, he became a bit worried as things turned a bit sour, but he was sure that if the battle would become exceedingly dangerous, Merlin would probably intercept - as he usually did. In the end, everyone watched the two of them with a stunned expression, while the announcer tried to decide what to do. As the hopeless showman struggled to speak his mind, a young male from the crowd entered the ring - he wore plum trousers, a blue shirt and a light-grey overcoat with a cap - grabbed the microphone and declared Lanife to be the winner. After a few silent seconds the crowd basically exploded; they cheered for both fighter regardless whether they've won or lost. They did their best and that's all that mattered. Odyn himself drank for their health (and for his own) then rejoined Merlin, who was making his way towards Yuuki and Lanife, who were escorted out from the fighting arena.
  2. "Da-daddy?!" Goten freaked out even at the thought of this. What will she say if she sees or hears this? I'll be dead! Goten looked around quickly and with difficulty put Yuki back on the ground. Hearing his father's "encouraging" words he wanted to melt into the ground. "Dad, please not here and not now!" "Anyway, it is getting late." Lukai said. "Were should we stay?" she asked her two friends. "Should we head back to the machine or..." "You can stay with us, I'm sure" Goten said. "Good! I'll leave them in your care then!" Pan said and jumped up in the sky. "I still have some things to take care off! Thanks grandpa for the treat!" she said her farewell, and then flew off towards the laboratory.
  3. Lukai saw as Yuki left the building, behind him Goten, Pan and another man she didn't really recognize. "I can't even make plans in peace anymore." Pan pouted. "Plans?" Goten asked. "Oh you still want to go with Goku?" "What is going on here? I'm a bit lost my dear. Who are these people?" Mr. Satan asked baffled at the sight of so many new faces, a young Goku and an almost identical copy of young Goku. "Dad got himself into trouble and turned into a kid," Goten answered part of the question. "As for the rest, I'd like to know myself as well." "I can answer that," Lukai bowed and with a smile began to explain their situation. "Son Yuki, Chie and myself come from the future of a different timeline, where Bulma succeeded creating a timeline machine. Problem is it wasn't completed and now we are stuck un this timeline. Until your Bulma finishes with the repairs, I'm afraid we are stuck here." "And who is Son Yuki?" Goten asked, getting pretty nervous about the answer. "He is your son," Pan patted the boy on the shoulder. "Congratulations, you'll be a father!"
  4. "Yuki!" Pan snapped at the boy. "Be quiet, at least in here in front of all these people! Gosh you act like a five year old!" Goten entered the building and went straight to them, looking at little Yuki with a great curiosity. He set down across him, then turned to Pan to ask her what was going on. "Well... umm... how should I say it. He... he is. He's your-" Just as she was ready to finish the sentence, Mr. Satan cut in and pointed at the street. "Hey, Doesn't that kid looks like Goku as well?" "WHAT?!" Pan and Goten looked outside, and it really was kid Goku along two girls. "Great" Pan hit herself on the forehead. "I guess everyone is here now, so I'll leave the explanation to these three" And she pointed at Yuki, Chie and Lukai.
  5. "Well... we do need to meet up with him anyway, and they would meet one way or another, so might as well be there. Who knows, why might need to restrain them to avoid a catastrophe." She replied with a smile. "Alright Goku, we'll take you to Yuki...if we can find him that is." Not sure what to do, Lukai looked at Chie as if she had the answer to her unasked question regarding Yuki's whereabout. We always get into these sort of situations because Yuki gets lost or... "Wait! He might be hungry! He just had a quick spar, so he's probably looking for something to eat!" Mr. Satan and Pan looked at each other. The latter shrugged and turned her head towards the window, where she recognized Goten, who was still sulking in front of the building. "Goten? What is HE doing here?" she thought out loud. She stood up and went to the window, knocking on it to get a response from the boy. Goten slowly turned and seeing his expression, Pan was pretty sure that it was another date that turned sour for the boy. Pan made a gesture with her hand, basically inviting the boy to the table,
  6. "Do we know each other?" Mr. Satan asked, looking at the boy, still confused. He does look a lot like Goku. But... who is he?! "We are making plans!" Pan replied to Yuki's question. "He is helping me and you better not tell it to Bulma and the others!" She then slightly shifted in her chair and shrugged. "Anyway... order whatever you'd like. Grandpa here will pay for it." "M-ME?!" Lukai was looking at the two suspicious people while Chie and Goku were talking, thinking about what possible relation they could've had with Son Goku. In the end she didn't get closer to solving this mystery, but another one made her slightly more worried. "So... we found Son Goku, but where is Yuki? Don't you think we should look around for him as well? He probably got lost and is wondering around town." the Shin-jin girl said.
  7. "You came here without any Zeni?! Uh..." Pan shook her head. "Well... sit down!" and she pointed to the chair besides her. Meanwhile, Mr. Satan was yanking his head between the two of them, looking uterly confused. "Cousin? What? How? And who? Little angel what is going on here? Who is this boy and why does he look like Goku? And why does he call him Grandpa?!" "Long story!" Pan silenced the man with an angry look. "Son...Goku?" Lukai looked at the young boy. "It is!" She said happily. "Thank goodness we found him first! With this much power, I'm not sure Yuki would've been able to hold himself back. He always gets way too excited!" She stepped in front of Son Goku and bowed to the man trapped inside the body of a boy.
  8. Goten saw the small Saiyan wondering around in the restaurant, while the people were starring at him (and of course his red tail) in disbelief. He (Goten) didn't know what to do. Going inside and dragging him away would be pretty weird - especially if his girlfriend would see him, now that would be super awkward - but he couldn't just leave the boy there, whoever he was. Man, what should I do?! "Who is that boy?" Mr. Satan looked at Yuki and as Pan followed his gaze, she realized who stepped into the buildind. "Yuki, what are you doing here?" she asked. "Weren't you supposed to be at the laboratory with the others?" "Yes I can feel it too." Lukai nodded and stared towards the place from where she felt the enormous power. "Right, let's check it out" she agreed with Chie and followed her towards the source of the power.
  9. "Hmm you might be right!" Lukai agreed and landed atop a building, taking a look around town. "Hmm... well there are lots of powerful individuals... probably Goku's family and friends, I guess? Also, Yuki is out there, so we may eventually find him instead of Goku!" She tried to relax for a bit, taking a deep breath and concentrating on the sources of power, so she could pinpoint it better. "How dare they underestimate my little angel!" someone yelled within the shop... as it turns out, it was none other than Mr. Satan. "Right!" Pan replied still angry. "I just need to show them! Prove that I'm not a child anymore!" she said and took a sip from her coffee - which was apparently far too bitter for her. Not far from the very same building, Goten was still looking for his girlfriend, although at this point he was sure that he screwed up big this time. I'll never get this sorted out... I'm basically dead. Damn... I'd rather fight a dozen of Buus rather than trying to explain this to her - he thought. As he walked past the building, he saw a strange boy entering it. The boy had a red tail and was weirdly similar to he himself, at least to how he looked back as a child. Goten stopped for a second as he couldn't believe his own eyes. In the end he went closer to the shop window to take a look inside.
  10. While the trio - although in different locations - were looking for Son Goku, the inhabitants of this timeline's earth were all doing what they would normaly do. Bulma and the rest were still tinkering with the machinery, Pan went to blow some steam off and Trunks returned to the office to get some work down. Son Goten, Goku's younger son however was out in the streets, looking for his girlfriend who she was supposed to be meeting around now. Unlucky for him, his phone was off and he was a few minutes late, but he was still hoping that the girl would be there. Where can she be?! I hope she didn't leave. Man, why does this have to happen with me?! Goten seemed to be losing hope as he walked on and on, looking towards the left and the right in hope of finding the girl.
  11. "You're probably right." Lukai agreed, then turned towards the others to notify them about where they were going. Bulma and the rest didn't really pay an attention to them though, seems like they were far more interested and invested in the machines in front of them. "Let's go then!" Lukai said and headed towards the exit once again. As they left the building, Lukai looked around as if she was searching for someone. "Where should we look for Goku?" "You probably should go and search for Goku!" Trunks said. "I'm sure the two of you'd love to have a fight! I on the other hand need to go back to the...uhm, office. They're probably looking for me anyways! See you later Yuki!" And with that Trunks bid farewell and flew backwards to the office.
  12. When his attack finally connected, Trunks for a second felt like he was in control of the situation after all, but seeing how Yuki shrugged it off his jaw almost dropped. Before he could react to they younger boy's reaction he appeared in front of him using Rapid Movement. Trunks tried blocking, but he wasn't at all prepared for what came next. Yuki's first kick broke through his defence and before he could regain his ballance another five kicks landed all over his body. In the next couple of seconds even more kicks connected and by then Trunks couldn't even move by himself. Yuki's finisher attack - his red tail - finally went straight into his face and. The power of the hit sent him flying and finally crashing into a building. He'd be a very dangerous enemy... I doubt I could even defeat him! Trunks smiled and flew back to the boy, reaching out with his right, to shake Yuki's hand. "You're very strong Son Yuki. Your father and grandfather must be very proud!" "No, he stayed behind. He found a sparring partner." Lukai reassured the girl. "He'll be back in no time!... at least I hope so."
  13. Trunks was amazed how easily to boy dodged every attack and was slightly getting annoyed, when the boy without any actual difficulty grabbed his fast and with his left made contact. Feeling as if hit by a canonball - a canonball that has the power obliterate the sun - Trunks' eyes widened and couldn't move or even form a word. One direct hit from Yuki - one that had no power in it - and he was hopeless. What sort of power does this boy have?! "You're pretty strong..." Trunks said with difficulty. "But I'm not through just yet!" Increased speed and power, Trunks sent another flurry of attacks towards the boy, hoping that at least some of them will go through. "We'll have to think about this" Gohan said finally. "I'm still not sure about this, but what Lukai said does make some sense. As for what Team X is ready or capable to do..." he looked at Chie. "I'm sure you guys are more than ready for this adventure. Still, I'm not sure it would be the wisest thing to do."
  14. Trunks saw the excitement of the boy and got himself ready for the fight. He was expecting great things from the young Saiyan, though couldn't quite tell how strong the boy can actually be. Still, not even his wildest dreams did he expect Yuki to emit such strength as he did in the next second. His aura alone was shocking, let alone his very fist attack, which barely, but Trunks managed to dodge luckily. He distanced himself from the boy, trying to hide the shock. What the... how strong is this kid?! As he didn't want to be seen like a coward, Trunks steeled himself and prepared to attack. He dashed towards Yuki and unleashed a barrage of punches towards the young boy. Still unsure about his exact power, Trunks couldn't help, but hold back a bit as he didn't want to cause any accidents. Better safe then sorry... for now. Bulma was adamant in her choice not to involve the timetraveling trio in this adventure. Even if they were strong, this wasn't just a quick trip to the moon. This was very serious and very dangerous, not to mention how long it would take them to get home. "This isn't a game, Chie" surprisingly the answer didn't come from Bulma, but from Gohan. "Adventure is a good thing, but I think you guys are way over your heads already, considering the fact that you used a half-complete machine to get here without a way back. You may want to go now, but what if this won't be as quick and exciting as you want it to be? We can't waste our time bringing you back here, because Goku isn't going on a holiday trip!" "I agree," Bulma added. "And I'm pretty sure that my future self wasn't stupid enough to let you three use the machine on purpose, since it isn't complete. You've got yourselves in enough trouble as it is, it'd be the best if you sat down and waited patiently for once." "But you could use our help..." Lukai spoke quietly, as she entered the room. "We've some knowledge about this year, since it already happened to us. While we can't be 100% sure everything is the same... you still have a better chance with us than without!" Lukai's words seemed to have grabbed the adults' attention. They looked at each other, unsure as to how to reply.
  15. "Son Goten? Wow..." Trunks grinned with joy for the first time since they've met. "Not the Goten I know!" He chuckled. "We're pretty strong!" he winked at the boy, and his face lit up in a bit of enjoyment as well. "I know! Why not have a little spar? What do you say Yuki?" Lukai knew that the fight at this point was pretty much inevitable. Son Yuki was just like his grandfather in this sense, and the one to probably defeat the great Goku one day - well at least to Lukai. "I'll go back and join Chie!" she said and left the two boys behind to have their way. "I don't know, Chie. Your place is not even here." Gohan said. "And I'm sure nobody wants to put you guys at any risk, while you are here. It would be best if you stayed with us until the machine is repaired and leave the dragon ball hunt to Son Goku. We don't even know how long will it take for him to find them!" "I agree." Bulma said determined. "This isn't a trip, you kids should let Goku handle it!"
  16. "Fairy Transformation... hmm yes. Magical sunlight filled with energy. Well, Twilight Town is indeed a location where you should search for it, for as you can see, the sun's light here is very special! I've met others who were in search of the energy, in the past! Careful though, child! It is a very powerful source of energy and must be handled with great care!" While they were talking, another battle has ended below them and the man announced the newest fighters: Yuuki and Lanife! Merlin was a bit surprised to hear Yuuki's name, but wished her a good luck anyways. The wizard lowered the bubble and it burst quietly as they landed on the ground. "I'll be watching from afar, Yuuki! Give it your best!" Merlin said, and quickly disappeared amongst the crowd.
  17. "The one and only!" Merlin smiled and winked at the girl. "Now-now, call me simply Merlin! Yuuki, right? Where are you from and what brings you here? Can't imagine that you are here to participate in the Struggle!" The wise sorcerer deduced. "There must be another reason!" "And now ladies and gentleman! Our next battle!" The wizard with another wand movement, raised the bubble above the ground, so they could see the new fighters, entering the pit. One of them was a young lad with two knife-like weapons, and other one was Odyn. He was smiling, waving at the spectators, his hands not even close to the hilt of his sword. He seemed relaxed and happy, as if he was at a party, not a battle. His act confused his enemy who tried to surprise him from behind, but his attack wasn't successful. The knight, still leaving his sword sheathed grabbed the boy's wrists and with an easy twist unarmed him. "Not so fast, kiddo!" he said confidently. "Don't let your enemy confuse you. Learn to make a difference between a trap and a true advantage! "This isn't over yet!" the boy shouted and jumped up, trying to kick Odyn. Luckily he saw through the trick and recognized the small knives fastened to the boots just in time to dodge the attack. With a huge swing he threw the boy out of the fighting pit, making him the victor of the match - something that has been included in the rules of the Grand Struggle not too long ago. "Well done..." Merlin said content with Odyn's victory. "Although he finished the young lad off a bit too quickly!"
  18. "Wait wait wait!" Trunks tried to calm Yuki who seemed to be thrilled by the sheer presence of Trunks. "Son...who?" Trunks was even more confused and with an almost pleading look, he turned to Lukai in hope of some real answers. She chuckled and waved a hand. "Don't worry about him. He's usually like that. He needs a good fight, that should calm him down." "Ah... alright, I guess?" "Your mom in the future done a great job preparing a timeline machine, but thanks to Yuki we sort of got here, and since the machine is not complete yet, we're stuck for now." "I see. So where is the timeline machine?" "At the lab." Lukai explained. "Your mom is taking a look at it right now! Want to take a look at it?" "I..." Trunks almost agreed, but suddenly realized that he should've been at a meeting now, so with a week laughter he declined the offer. "So you are Son Yuki. Who are your parents? You seem to be quite powerful." "A special breed of dragon balls were stolen and used for the wrong reasons. Son Goku was turned into a child, and what is even worse if we can't get ahold of the Dragon Balls in a year, earth will be destroyed!" Bulma explained. "We're making this machine for dad, so he can go and look for the Dragon Balls." Gohan joined the conversation. "Unfortunately these Dragon Balls are not just scattered around the planet, but the entire universe..."
  19. Trunks wasn't all that happy when out of nowhere Son Yuki crashed into him. He was even ready to give him a smack, when he suddenly saw him up close. His resemblance to Son Goku threw him off and could only stare at him with his mouth wide open. "Who... who are you?" he asked baffled when he realized they weren't alone. Lukai didn't make things much more acceptable and a confused Trunks didn't know what to say to either one of them. "Don't worry. We'll explain everything" Lukai sighed and shook her head. "Sound a lot like Goku!" Bulma laughed. "Well this machine is a very advanced. It'll take us some time to get to know it. We can only start working on it after that." "What does it mean?" Gohan asked. "It means they'll be staying a bit longer, than they might want to." Bulma acknowledged.
  20. "Aaaaand we have a winner!" the announcer yelled cheerfully. Odyn looked over towards the fighters to see which one of them lost, but the crowd was just too thick to see through. He shrugged and took a sip from his drink. Just then a girl ran up to them in excitement. "Uh-oh, why of course! I am!" the sorcerer said with a wide grin on his face. "And who might you be?" "An excited fan, as far as I can see," remarked with a smile. "I'll leave you too to have a chat!" And with that, he left the sorcerer and the girl behind. He still had a couple of minutes before his first battle, but it was finally time to concentrate on the task ahead. After the swordsman left, Merlin with the move of his wand created a bubble around himself and the girl, so they could hear each other easier, since they were in the middle of the yelling-laughing-cheering crowd. "How can I help you, young lady?" he asked.
  21. "What? Wait! Yuki!" Lukai flew after the boy. He was right, even she could see the distinctive features of Vegeta's son. The boy didn't see them yet though, he seemed to be having a lot of fun just flying around not caring about anything in the world. "Really? Well, we are working on better ways to fly a rocket, but now this is the best we have! It works quite well, don't worry! But tell me, what happened? How did you three end up here? Did you come here to bring us a message?" Videl asked without looking up from her gadget. "How are things over there? Hope everyone is alright, in the future!"
  22. "Fancy seeing a conjurer around these parts!" Odyn greeted the sorcerer. "Oh, my boy! Long time no see!" the fair haired wizards welcomed the warrior with a warm smile. "You on the other hand, I expected to see you here!" "Wherever the action is," he nodded. "Let's get a drink and watch them kiddos smack each other behind the ear!" he suggested with a wink and was ready to find himself some booze. "Always the battle and the drink! You'll never change, won't you?" "If it is not broken, why fix it!?" the man laughed. Odyn ordered for the two of them, and stared at the fighting pit while waiting for his drink. The two fighters were both wielding swords. They were young and faught recklessly, flunging their weapons right and left without any plans or technique. It was a battle of pure luck, and though one of them would surely be the victor... even he'd be facing defeat a couple of rounds later... of that, Odyn was sure. He watched the battle with mild interest and when he got his drink he returned to Merlin without a moment of hesitation. This was just another battle, that wasn't worth his attention. Hopefully by the next time they'll at least know how to hold a sword. "So, where have you been, Merlin?" the man asked the wizard. "Here and there. Traveling around, visiting old friends!"
  23. "Well... we don't really mind if she stays to look." Gohan said with a smile and returned to finish his work. "We're building it for Goku. He got into trouble as usual," Bulma remarked with a wink, "And we're sort of helping out the best we can!" In the meanwhile Pan shown Lukai and Yuki around. It was quite fast as Pan seemed to be annoyed by something and after taking the two of them on a stroll, she was ready to fly off. "I've got to take care of something. Take a look around, and try not to get lost!" She said and she flew off, leaving the two of them behind. "Well... that was quite fast." Lukai remarked a bit surprised. "Where should we go Yuki? Go back to the others, or follow her or just take a look around the city?"
  24. As took a turn towards the right he could finally gaze upon the vast square which was made into a small-scale battleground for the time being. Around it, there were seats for the spectators and beyond them food and drink stalls. The crowd that filled the steets was colorful and varied. From local families to weird looking travelers from distant planets there were all sorts of creatures. Maybe a drink wouldn't hurt that much... he thought, as the marched through the swarm of people, towards his favorite drink stall. As he passed one person after another, in the distance he saw the outlines of an old friend of his. "Well-well... if it isn't Merlin!" he said with a smile, and forgeting about his drink decided to surprise the old sorcerer. In the mean time the first battles were just about to start, and the spectators cheered loudly as the very first warriors stepped into the ring to try their might! "Ladies and gentleman! I welcome you all tonight-" the announcer started the show and didn't stop for a very long time. Odyn didn't really listen to it, because they were a bit of annoyance. Instead he tried to looking for strong fighters, good drinks and old friends.
  25. Bulma was staring at the Timeline Machine. The sight of the machine made her remember the time, when Trunks visited them from the future, bearing ill news and a great warning. Could these youngsters have brought similar news? No... that wasn't possible. "What should we do?" Gohan asked Bulma. "Want to take a look at the machine? We can finish the other one with Videl." Bulma of course could barely hold her excitement, still she tried to play it cool. She nodded professionally, and turned towards Yuki, Chie and Lukai. "Alright, I will take a look at it. Pan, could you show them around, this may actually take a while." Pan seemingly wanted to protest, but seeing her parents she decided against it. "Oh alright. Come on you three!" she ordered the 'visitors' and headed towards the exit.
