  1. Wow, that's AWESOME, Silvia.
  2. So I don't know if I made the right call by picking up KH 1.5/2.5 at GS for $17 apiece when we don't know what 2.9 is going to be yet. Also because I may have a PS4 soon...
  3. Likewise, Sen. I have a furry friend that goes to my college that's been pestering me for the past month or so about dragging me out to see this movie. Looking forward to this.
  4. Ended up taking a break from racing to finish One Punch Man. No regrets, that series was FANTASTIC.
  5. Absolutely loving how well Midnight Club L.A. responds to my G27. Nothing better than shifting a '69 Camaro on the highway.
  6. *like the plague. ...sorry to necro this, but I thought I'd put in my two cents.
  7. Welcome to how nasty that side of the internet has become. It's painful to hear, and even more painful to watch it play out in front of your eyes. Just don't let them bother you and ignore them, that's really all you can do. The Tumblrinas that take shit too far are the ones that need to stop giving the LGBT community a bad name and stop spewing garbage from their shithole that they call a mouth. I try not to let it bother me, and the only thing I can really do is avoid Tumblr lik...
  8. So I'm learning to drive manual on Assetto Corsa in a Lamborghini Miura P400 SV with my Logitech G27 steering wheel. Damn fine car.
  9. Weighing the options if I want to SLI this GTX 970 I have or just go apeshit and sell it, then buy a 980 Ti.
  10. Nothing to eat in the house turned into microwaveable Lipton Noodle Soup. Victory achieved.
  11. Likewise, Sir Luke. *salute*
  12. It's funny, I was in the middle of the fan-translated version of Final Mix (the script translation, since the Japanese version of the game had the English voiceovers) a few years back, but stopped playing for some reason. Now that everything's been released officially for the PS3 (along with ACTUALLY OWNING a PS3 this time around), I'm going to have to pick up both ReMIXes soon and finish that playthrough.
  13. Thanks for the encouragement, my friend Exilra told me the same. It's just a matter of finding one to dive into.
  14. Maybe it's about time I adventured into roleplaying on this site...hopefully I can bring back the muse I lost a year ago.
  15. Trying to get my hands on a custom-printed Freedom Gundam shirt from a Chinese eBay seller, and can't decide what size I should grab, being a US XL. *blink*
  16. I can't bring myself to arrange these in order, so you get a random list of my upper tiers of favorites. 1. Athrun Zala (Gundam Seed) Probably one of my favorite mobile suit pilots (from any Gundam series), I feel like I can sympathize with Athrun. It's difficult to decide what true justice is when you're being pulled into two entirely different directions at once, when all you want to do is follow your heart. You have allies on both sides, they both seem to be firm in their beliefs; where's the compromise? No matter which side you choose, you always seem to be the one in the wrong in some way, to the point where your own best friend can't trust you. His true allegiance is to his own heart, and I think that what reinforces my love of him as a character is his journey to that goal. Pretty deep for a 15-year-old. 2. Ryoma Nagare (Getter Robo Armageddon) ...what can I say about Ryoma? Well...he's a badass, for one. Total badass, and it doesn't even matter what incarnation of the Getter Robo series he's in. Being part of a three man team that controls a giant robot takes courage, determination, and connection between you and your fellow pilots, not to mention being hot-blooded and willing to fight no matter what the cost. What drew me to Ryoma was his insatiable drive to never give up; when things got bleak, he found a way to rise above it no matter what it took. Also, can't forget that he pilots one of the most edgy and awesome mechs in the series. He's...probably an exaggerated image of what I wish I could be: strong-willed, powerful, and above all? Badass. Yep. 3. Yukari Yakumo (Touhou Project) I really have no reason for liking Yukari except for her design and the fanbase's interpretation of her character. She's witty, lazy, and pretty. Maybe that's a way to put it. There's also something I love about her design that I can't describe for the life of me. Her abilities intrigue me: the control of metaphysical boundaries, which can involve the breaking of said boundaries via pocket dimensions. Think Portal, but with the creation of gates to realms where physics and logic may or may not exist. Combine that with the fanon's interpretation that she's a dimension-jumping youkai with a penchant for screwing around with the main cast, and you have an entertaining character. I think the keychains, mousepad, massive wallpaper collection, and plushie explain it better than I can. 4. Reiji Moritsugu (Linebarrels of Iron) Chief of the JUDA Corporation Special Task Force, Reiji's just...cool. Cool's a good word, actually. He's cold, calculating, intelligent, and a damn good leader. I sympathize with his character because of all the hardships he dealt with growing up, from being unable to feel pain to losing his sister at a young age. Sounds like the perfect edge-tier character, huh? Not quite. As a child, he was seemingly the only one of his classmates to believe that justice had to be served, at all costs. No matter what he did to be an "ally of justice," he would always bear the brunt of the pain directed at his friends, to the point where he often got into fights with the bullies; he would always stand up for the weak, by any means necessary. In a way, I can relate to his courage, and the wish to protect the weak. During the anime, he plays a sort of abusive father figure to the main character, Kouichi Hayase. 5. Black Rock Shooter (Black Rock Shooter) Design. I think that's a reason above all for BRS's favoritism. There's also the obvious "THAT IS A GIANT CANNON AND I LOVE IT." Not to mention that she's probably the most interesting of the anime's Otherselves, and shows the most connection with her designated human (Mato Kuroi). It's neat to see how Mato's stress is given form through Black Rock's point of view as she deals with her classmates and her feelings, and the fights are awesome to watch. But yes. The art is pretty, so I'll stick with that.
  17. Made it to disc 2 of MGS. Screw that Hind, seriously.
  18. Naw, you're fine Mr. Arisato. I AM noticing though that I could have gotten away with only watching Metal Gear Awesome/the Hiimdaisy comic dub and then skipping to 2. But the completionist in me doesn't want me to miss out on good old classic gameplay.
  19. I'll get to the others eventually, but no way could I beat all of them at once.
  20. Correct, the big numero uno. Been planning to go through them all for some time now, just haven't had the time.
  21. Finally decided what to do tonight. Gotta finish Metal Gear Solid before classes start up again.
  22. >Includes Xbox One Controller, EVE: Valkyrie, and Lucky's Tale The games are justified, but a controller as well? I smell a controllerless version for slightly cheaper. Maybe not much, but it's something. Kind of expected it to be in the $600 range, after hearing the creator's statement about wanting to deliver a 'quality product, with no shortcuts, which justifies a more expensive price-point than $300.' It better be damn well worth it.
  23. My cousin showed me him at the beginning, I remember wondering if he killed Sora and assumed control as the main character. First vocal reaction was "Wow, he's pretty, I like hi-HOLY F*** HE HAS A SKATEBOARD!??!?" To this day, I do not regret fanboying him. *cough*
  24. Slowly realizing that I'm not as good at Touhou as I used to be. Back to Gensokyo, I guess.
