  1. Hey all!

Not too long ago, I mentioned that I was working with a group called the Pixel Mixers on a Final Fantasy IX homage project. Well, the project is finally fully released and I'd like to share my contribution to the project!

The song is called "Depths of Oeilvert" which is based on the location "Oeilvert" aka the place where your magic is locked out x_X. The theme is actually one of many rearrangements of the main theme song, "The Place I'll Return to Someday", but to keep it simple, I just went with a variation of the same name as the OST.

You can download the entire MASSIVE project for Free now. I will include the links to everything below, however you can also find the links in the video description.

    ENJOY!

Composed and Vocals By: Key Jay (After Nobuo Uematsu)
    Mastered By: Ro Panuganti

  2. Hey all,

Hope you all have been well and thanks again for all the love and support for Project Kingdom XIII; it really meant a lot to me.

I'm excited to announce that I'm working on another project based on another Square Enix based property along with a huge community of musicians and producers called the Pixel Mixers. Our project is called "Beyond the Mist", a tribute album to Final Fantasy 9 where we....pretty much are covering the entire OST.

You can read more about it here: https://www.blog.keyjayonline.com/beyond-the-mist-trailer/

And we just released a teaser which you can totally listen to here:

    Thanks again everyone and ENJOY!

  3. Spoiler

-New World(s): Would be a nice addition like everyone else here mentioned, but to add, a world from Square's side would be a nice addition or something from Disney classic archive.

-EVEN MORE KEYBLADES! Though letsbe honest, I'd probably still main the Frozen keyblade.

    -Sephiroth and Cloud again(?)

-Critical Mode (though we're getting that already soon)

-Some kind of expanded info about what actually happened to Sora

-Would have been nice to control Axel and Kiri for a bit on something. So maybe a mini story somewhere?

-If more worlds are planned, then another Gumi Ship area would be nice as well :)

  4. I'm very much anticipating the best for FF77R having played the original multiple times. I've heard no changes about the episodic plan but honestly I'm good either way. The way I see it possibly playing out is similar to how the original three disks were separated with probably the final episode being extended to include maybe more back story (granted, I don't know how much they are blending in from Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, etc....or even if they will at all). Since they pretty much had to start over though, I wouldn't hold your breath to see anything for it this year.

Still excited in any capacity. Given how well executed the KH3 system is (and somewhat the FF15 system), can't wait to see how they tailor it to FF7R.

  5. Hey all,

I want to again take the time to thank this community for allowing me the platform to showcase my work and honestly, a really enjoyable personal project. I've put a lot of heart and soul into this project and I hope the effort has translated to your enjoyment thus far, and that I can hopefully do so again with Part 2 sometime in the future.

That said, if you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm pleased to announce that Project Kingdom XIII is now available on every major music distribution platform NOW including iTunes, Google Play Music, and Amazon Music. [QUICK LINK]

Of course you can find the complete project for free elsewhere such as Soundcloud, Spotify, and YouTube, but if you feel like giving a small kickback, it's very much appreciated and helps in developing Part 2 of PKXIII AND more music productions. And of course, if you want to get fancy with your support, I have shirts and other goodies available in my merch store that helps me out a little, and of course, there's always Patreon :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH KINGDOM HEARTS COMMUNITY and I can't wait to express my hype and excitement with you as well for Kingdom Hearts 3!

    Best Regards!!

  6. Hey all,

First I want to say thank you very much for enjoying Project Kingdom XIII. Pretty soon, all tracks will be up...pretty much everywhere from iTunes to Bandcamp. To finally put a nice bow on Part 1 of this project, I created an special interlude that will be available on the streaming versions soon and on the download versions (not available on YouTube though). Super short, but I really liked how the end came out ^_^

    ENJOY Sora's Promise!
    ONE MORE MONTH TO GO!

  9. Greetings all,

I am EXTREMELY HYPED to finally release this! This video and song is the culmination of literal MONTHS of tireless effort, punctuated by lots of sweat, lots of sleepless nights, research, and a bunch of sessions, etc., FINALLY realized into this beautiful mammouth of a track that honestly, could be one of my greatest works yet. A lot of love and passion went into this one and I can’t thank all the artists, Patrons, and the many people involved enough for making this production a reality. For every Kingdom Hearts fan, this is truly an experience to remember.

Please, sit back and enjoy, “Should I Stay”!

SHOULD I STAY (feat. SquigglyDigg, Out of Pockets, and Cyril the Wolf) by Key Jay releases

    09/13/2018

Please feel free to talk to me about it more on here or on Twitter (@keyjayhd).

    Super excited!

  12. Personally as a newcomer,

Give me Klonoa (Namco) and Axel Stone (Sega) as playables

    with

Wiseman (Sega - Nights), Astal (Sega), and Sir Tongara de Pepperouchau III (Sega) as assists and I can die happy xD.

    ...

Yes I grew up as a SEGA fanboy xD

  13. Definitely an odd choice for sure.

I mean if it's a complete remake from the ground up (if I remember back at E3, it is) then, sure I might be able to understand having the later games downloadable...you know, what with 4K textures, new models, new engine, etc. and from what I remember (it's been a while since I played Spyro), they're just larger games environment wise vs Crash so a bit more info.

Not saying I agree with the decision to make the experience part downloadable, but I don't discount a technical reason for it not being on there either.

Forgive me for also not knowing how they handled the Crash Trilogy, but was all three games put together under the same environment? What they could be experimenting with is smaller runtimes to make the games smaller and less of a hassle to jump into (also with disc to hdd transfer...again, shot in the dark).

It's anyone's guess really imo. Needless to say, far cheaper than shipping a multi disc version of the experience.

  14. Great video, man! Yeah, I can understand how there are some people that would pass on this anime. A friend of mine from back home in Puerto Rico didn't particularly like it, but I've been watching it since it aired! Or, well, to be more precise, like 12 or 13 of the episodes had already aired, but I began to catch up weekly when I binged the episodes that were already there!

Like you said, Asta can turn you off with his constant screaming, but beneath that, or rather, over that, the anime is actually pretty awesome, and there's a ton of epic voice actors, like the mighty Christopher Sabat, who voices Yami! There's a ton of big names in there, and the story gets better and better as it progresses! Right now, the anime is at its 40th Episode on the English Dub, and right now this opening came out for it...and it may help to convince you to give it another chance maybe? :3

My previous favorite intro in Black Clover was the second one, Shape Of Love, but this current one, Guess Who Is Back, has definitely topped as my favorite opening in Black Clover thus far! :3

I'll agree with you, that intro is pretty tops! It definitely has me intrigued on what is going on especially with the larger character they're going up against.

Lol, perhaps I may in the future give it another shot. This series is getting a lot of love in places so it's not a complete fail...I meen like I said, it doesn't work for me based on my own personal showrun study expectations in what I feel a new IP should do, but as something to watch, it might be something I grow into sans Asta voice. Tastes and styles change overtime, nothing in life is forever, etc.

    Fingers crossed ^_^

Thanks again for the awesome reply!

  15. Currently watching them dubbed. :)

Treasure Planet was awesome :D I'm actually doing a Disney Adult rewatch all the back from Snow White working my way up. Currently just finished Sleeping Beauty (fyi, Three Good Fairies = The Real MVPs xD). Getting ever closer to my all time favorite films aka 101, Sword and the Stone, The Fox and the Hound, Jungle Book, etc.

Just so I don't create so many topics on this same series, I think I'll just retitle this post to make things easy since I see some people like it :)
