  1. I could certainly see Xigbar surviving Kingdom Hearts III. Braig/Xigbar has always struck me as a survivor character, one who always plans like 50 steps ahead to ensure his own survival. And I know he died in KH2, but that could have been all part of the plan. So I could totally see him appearing in the KHIII secret ending. I still think it's going to have KHUX connections, though. It just feels like that's where the series is headed.
  2. Axel showed emotions too. In KH2FM just after the Roxas battle, when they're talking on the clock tower, you can see that the tear that fell came from Axel, not Roxas. And even Saix sometimes seemed to have some kind of capacity for emotion.
  3. Day 26 Favourite Kingdom Hearts game for its story. Birth by Sleep, no questions asked. I loved how it allowed us to view the series' universe through three brand new sets of eyes, as well as set the stage for the main part of the series. I loved everything about it.
  4. Could be. I always did get the feeling that Xemnas was withholding a bunch of information from Saix in order to keep him in line and ensure he stayed loyal to him.
  5. HA! That is amazing. Who said video games never help you in life? I don't have any stories that clever, but I can say that my pin number is made up of my top four favourite organization members' ranks (and yes, they're all ranked in the single digits).
  6. The epilogue and secret ending are being released as a patch a day after the release. Japan will be getting it anytime now, and the rest of the world will get it on either the 30th or the 31st.
  7. She clearly didn't bother with the non-numbered titles. That's the problem with Polygon; they only ever do the bare minimum when it comes to these things and as a result their reviews are always completely unfair.
  8. My first playthrough is always on standard, then I follow up with a proud playthrough.
  9. It is a mobile game. I imagine that the connections in KH3 will be easy to follow for anyone who watched Back Cover, as I suspect that's why they released it in the first place. In regards to the series' next big bad, it seems like the favourite fan theory is that the MoM will be filling that role. And if not him, then Luxu. Fingers crossed that they'll show up in KHIII's secret ending.
  10. I played KHUX a few years ago for like two weeks, but it just wasn't able to hold my interest. I deleted the app and didn't go back to it until I saw Chirithy in the BH6 trailer (I think that was where we first saw him). After that, I decided to start playing again so I could be prepared for any KHUX connections KH3 may have. It does certainly look like the series will become intertwined with KHUX, and I could totally see the secret ending involving the MoM and/or Luxu. They're totally going to show up at some point; it's obvious. Otherwise what's the point of introducing them and shrouding them in mystery?
  11. Day 25 Most exciting battle. Without a doubt, I have to go with the 1000 heartless battle in Kingdom Hearts II. So much fun and so epic!
  12. Yeah, they really need to stop putting her in the damsel in distress role. I know they tried in KHII, but having her kill two measly little heartless with a keyblade doesn't fix the issue. Fingers crossed that this gets remedied in KHIII.
  13. That's what I think too. KHUX seems to be more important to the series than anyone thought it would be, which doesn't have to be a bad thing. But if they're going to pursue that route then they need to make UX more accessible, like release a console port of the main plot or something. But if it contains the biggest spoilers of the game then it must contain characters we've seen, but don't expect to see in KH3, which leads me to believe that it's connected to KHUX. If that makes sense.
  14. Nomura said that the epilogue and secret ending contain the biggest spoilers of the game, which I find soooooo intriguing. I imagine it does lead into KH4 (or some other future installment, like with the Gathering/Birth by Sleep leading into KHBBS), because otherwise I don't think he would consider the events that transpire in the epilogue and secret ending to be the biggest spoilers in the game.
  15. Oh, definitely. I just found that it was harder to theorize with the ones including dialogue because there wasn't as much mystery in those ones.
  16. That is a very good question. The only person we've ever seen them put in there is Kairi.
  17. As much as I wish we could get the game earlier, I think this is more accurate to the situation. I imagine an earlier release is possible, since most retailers probably have the copies in now. But I think at this point it wouldn't really make that big of a difference. The game was still leaked, plot points have been revealed, cutscenes are out in the wild. All in all, it's done. They can't undo it, so they'll probably just proceed as normal. Now, that being said I certainly would not complain if they did decide to release the game early.
  18. Maybe we'll get some expansion on that in KH3. If not, then hopefully in a future installment. Axel was a member for years, after all. He must have some freaky stories.
  19. I would say that's a pretty solid theory. Makes sense. I imagine they tried to turn him into a Dusk but he managed to get away from them and went underground until Sora and his friends reached the Betwixt and Between.
  20. I think that's a very real possibility. We never did see anyone get turned into a Dusk in the games, so either it happened before and the whole organization was kept in line, or Xemnas and Saix used it as a threat that was never carried out. Or maybe it's not actually possible and they just led the organization to believe that they could turn you into a Dusk. I really wish they'd gone into more detail on this. It could also be that Saix was going to turn Axel into a Dusk, but for the sake of their old friendship he just roughed him up a little.
  21. That's what I always assumed too. But at the same time, the organization's numbers were so low at that point. Wouldn't they want to avoid that at all costs? Also, I really need to finish the KH2 manga, there's a bunch of super interesting stuff in there.
  22. He probably knew Xemnas was way stronger than him. Probably keeping his head down to stay alive. The whole organization knew that Axel was a wild card, so he probably actively tried to keep a target off his back. Also, remember in KHII in Radiant Garden when Saix told Sora Axel would receive the "maximum punishment" for kidnapping Kairi? Did we ever find out what the "maximum punishment" was? Or if he even received it?
  23. That could very well be. With Axel/Lea's popularity, I imagine we'll be getting some expansion on his past at some point or another. Especially since it looks like he'll be a main character in the series from here on out. There are just so many questions surrounding him and Isa that have yet to be answered. Maybe that clock tower scene we saw in the BH6 trailer will answer some questions.
  24. They were teenagers; teenagers love rebelling, and that includes sneaking into places they're not supposed to go. Like giant castles inhabited by a bunch of mysterious scientists. Plus getting in there would give them bragging rights because, y'know, I'm sure not many people would have been able to say they were able to get in there. Honestly though, I think they were just a couple of mischievous teenagers.Admit it; we all knew those guys in high school.
