What did you choose? What did you abandon?

Posted

Remember this?

If In KH3 they ask these questions again...what will be your choices?

Will they reflect what you've been choosing since KH1 and KH2?

Or will you go and pick something different?

Just so you know. Please don't Choose and Abandon the same answer option.

I.e. If you chose the power of the sword, you can't abandon the Sword.

I.e. If you chose the power of the staff, you can't abandon the Staff.

I.e. If you chose the power of the shield, you can't abandon the Shield.

I've always chosen the sword and given up the shield, I'll probably do the same in KHIII if the option is there just for consistency's sake. xD

I choose the sword and I think I gave up the staff? Can't quite remember.

I chose the staff and gave up the sword, I'm more of a magic user than a swordfighter.

I would choose the sword and give up the staff, but for a lvl 1 run, I chose the shield and gave up the sword!

Depends. Only chose the staff because I got Stun Impact way early in KH1, along with MP Rage. Whatever has the flashiest move set I'll choose.

The first EVER playthrough I did of KH1 I chose the sword and gave up the shield thinking that if I gave up the staff, I couldn't use magic at all. I spent half an hour on that first area. What resulted was a very rough irst playthrough especially since my path was also in the dead of night xD

KH1: Picked the Staff and gave up the Sword. The sword is technically the worst one to pick and is sort of a red herring.

KH2: It doesn't freaking matter...

I always go for the shield and give up the staff. I play strategically

I love swords so I had to choose it in the first playtroughs of KH and I don't really like magic and I consider using it cheating so I gave up the staff

I chose warrior but gave up mystic. But I forget what happens when you give up something else... What was the point of that part again?

Actually I picked the Staff and dropped the Shield in KH1

Only because I heard that choosing the staff lets you learn certain moves like Stun Impact as Clouded Sun correctly stated.

I also heard that picking magic maxes out your MP when your stats are completely maxed out.

In KH2 I picked the Staff on my first playthrough, but then I chose the Sword on my second (final Mix) playthrough.

Picking the Staff (or at least the Shield)  was the better option in the first game. This is because it gave you an extra MP bar in the game. Something you can't gain ANYWHERE else in the game. The sword & shield stats lost or gained from picking or giving up one of them can easily be replaced with a Power Up or Defense Up. However, a lost in an MP bar has no way of being replaced permanently.

Where as in KH2 picking weapons such as the Staff doesn't mean Sora will learn a lot of Magic Abilities first.

I always choose the shield and give up the staff.  It seems like that is the most balanced way to play.  I hate having to be either the full blown attacker or mage; being both is the best.
