Should Kingdom Hearts 3 get a Animated Series?

Posted

Hey wassup guys, I haven't posted here in a while and thats due to me being busy with school and stuff. But I recorded this video the other day because it was just something that popped up in my mind like What if Kingdom Hearts 3 or Kingdom Hearts in general got its own animated series similar to Final Fantasy Brotherhood. It's a concept that I thought was pretty interesting so I decided to make a video on it xD. Well i'm not gonna explain to much here if you wanna hear my full thoughts on the topic I put a link to the video in this Topic. Anyways Thanks for your time hope you enjoy! :D :D :D

Nice vid, man! If there were an animated series that leads into Kingdom Hearts III, like Brotherhood does to Final Fantasy XV, I could definitely get behind that! It'd hype us ever more so for Kingdom Hearts III! :D

No.  :/

Brotherhood FFXV has been generally terrible and boring, while the Persona 5 OVA was utterly pointless.  Just leave the games be!

No. Knowing this series, it would probably be Canon and Necessary To Understand The Game. A game needs to stand on itself, not depend on backstory something outside of the game gave.

Hasn't stopped the last few titles like X and 2.8, soooooo....

Anyway, if it were something like Brotherhood, I guess I could get behind that. It really depends on what you can cover with stuff like that. I guess you could always base the episodes on plot points that were never expanded on and don't get covered in Unchained and 2.8, like what specifically Mickey and Riku were doing during the year of Sora's slumber, or how the other Organization members formed, maybe coverage of Terra and Aqua's origins and how they grew up training under Eraqus (mostly just want to see cute kid versions of Terra and Aqua though ^3^ <3 ), actually adapt that chapter about Vanitas from the BBS novel, and maybe even a goofy shenanigan episode around Mickey, Donald, and Goofy for the heck of it (I personally am interested as to how they are animated as an anime. I mean, I imagine that they would draw them rather faithfully, but I mean like in subtle things like movement and expression and such).

So yeah, I certainly think there's enough material to work with to make a short Brotherhood-like series with Kingdom Hearts. And while I realize that it wouldn't necessarily appeal to everybody (apparently that's the case with Brotherhood I guess...loved it by the way), it would definitely be something meant for the more devoted fans of this series, those who welcome any new addition or entry to the series with eagerness and intrigue and would really appreciate the lore-building.

I'd be down for that, Disney was in the process of doing that once the first game came out, however, now that the KH lore has been fleshed out, I can really see an alternate take of the Kingdom Hearts franchise through an anime.

Wow! Those are things I never even thought about. The ideas for episodes you gave are great, and it just makes me want this to happen even more :D Thanks for the comment!
