Since Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and the Kingdom Hearts HD ReMix collection (what I call 1.5+2.5) will be releasing so close together I want to ask you guys which one do you think will do better between the two? And not only that do you think the ReMix collection will outsell 1.5 or 2.5 or both?

I'd say 2.8, since a lot of the fans already have the PS3 versions of 1.5 and 2.5.

And not sure about the second question, but I think it may be less.

I would think that 2.8 would do better since that is the one that has a lot more in terms of new content. Maybe hardcore fans and those who missed out on the HD ReMIXes the first time around would go for the 1.5+2.5 collection, but I've seen a lot of people who already bought the PS3 versions say they would skip out since they already have the PS3 version of those collections.

I agree with the comments above. Like I don't think I'll be getting KH1.5+2.5 because I have already played them on PS3 and even gotten all the trophies. On the other hand, KH2.8 will be day 1 purchase by me. xD

I think they'll be a gap between 2.8 and... uhh... NotKH... 4? I dunno' Yeah, anyway, I don't own either 1.5 or 2.5 (yeah, I know), so I'm planning on getting... NotKH... 4... a majority of people already did cop 1.5 and 2.5, so I honestly don't think many will rebuy it, even though the $50 pride is PRETTY tempting. I couldn't blame the timing either, the only notable games releasung are REVII, Horizon and Persona 5; and theyre all like a month apart. Wait... there is the Switch coming out in March too, so yeeeaahhhh...

Hmm. I think 1.5+2.5 will do better. Although 2.8 has 0.2 in it aka the KH3 demo, 1.5 and 2.5 do contain the classic KH games (1 and 2) that most people in the gaming community love and have already played.

People who have played KH but don't follow it properly have either played KH1 and or KH2, so they'll buy the collection to play those. Plus they can catch up on the other games that they may have missed

2.8. Not every fan is goign to double dip for 1.5+2.5. More will buy 2.8 becasue of the new stories. Some won't buy either and will wait for KH3

KH 2.8 is obviously going to sell well because of the fact that it will have a "demo" to KH3. That is, if you want to really call it that.

0.2 is a KH3 demo in a sense, I remember Nourma mentioning that it was orginaly the KH3 prologue section but it became to big for that but to small for its own game so they packaged it in with 2.8

2.8 will probably sell more,I think the people who wanted to play 1.5 and 2.5 already have it on PS3.

Well, if we're talking in terms of sales, I think that both could see equal amounts of profit, but since 2.8 has the most new content, I'm leaning towards 2.8 to be the one that sells best! I mean sure, 1.5+2.5 will have all the other entries of the Xehanort Saga for a reasonable price for the PS4, but 2.8 has 0.2 and Back Cover going for it, and then there's DDD HD, so for those who didn't get to play 3D back in the day can now play it on their PS4! So yeah, I think 2.8 will sell the most!

I'm going to be marathoning Kingdom Hearts like heck next year! First with 2.8, then with 1.5+2.5! That'll keep me distracted as we await for more Kingdom Hearts III news! :D
