The official Playstation Experience site has listed every company attending PSX on December 3rd and December 4th. Square Enix are not on the list. Last year they were on the list and we all saw Final Fantasy 7 Remake News. Jump Festa is now looking like our last shot of seeing the Final Fantasy 7 Remake as well as Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in 2016.

 

Keep in mind that Final Fantasy 15 does release 5 days before this event starts, so showing off games such as  FF7R would take focus away from the game.

To think not so long ago id say, Very Bad. Much sad. No XV.

Not surprising, their western studios have nothing to show currently, and besides FFVIIR and KH3, their Japanese studios don't have anything mainstream to show.  Unless they are going for the element of surprise for the keynote, it is not surprising in the slightest that they won't be their this year.

They have said that it won't be released before 2.8 so no.

The trailer will likely be a storyteller.

Just hope theyre gonna be at PAX this year, already got my tickets

Hmm, these humans over at Square seem to be playing a game of cat and mouse! They're keeping their cards close to their chest, waiting for the right time to pounce and bust everyone up with news on Remake and III! Well, it seems that all of you humans will have to wait till Jump Festa for any news!
