I would be a little more supportive if they did simultaneous or timely PC releases of their games( Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts 3(Better happen), and that Final Fantasy VII Remake) there games are great, unless we are talking about XIII, but yeah timely or simulataneous PC releases will be great Square maybe you should get on that.     Oh and they need to fix their ports and make sure they are working probably on release(XIII), and not barebones(Type-0 HD WTF was that)

I'd consider myself more a Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts fan, because beside those two series I don't think I've played any other Square Enix games yet.

I don't think that will happen. For a PC FFXV I see happening, but I do not see KH3 being on that let alone have all of this happen simultaneously.

Now, as for my fandom, I absolutely love SQEX because their are geniuses when it comes to many of their games, though they do have some that aren't the greatest. They aren't bad though. If there is a bad title like the first FFXIV, they will reboot and fix it. The KH series is hands down the best.

What was wrong with the FF-Type-0 PC Port? I don't honestly play my games on a PC but I am really curious as to what's wrong with FF Type-0 PC.

It was 1080p locked and here's the kicker if you max out the AA the game renders at 4K then downsamples to 10800p, and the game was locked at 30FPS, no matter the setting, for a game like Type-0 HD it's better if it was running at 60+ FPS, granted in some aspects it was better than the inital release of the 720p atrocity that was Final Fantasy XIII(For God sakes how the hell could they think that was acceptable of a release come on), the port of FFTYPE-0 wasn't bad per se it was just barebones, it needed more options.

Not me

After being betrayed by Kingdom Hearts chi(x) and Lightning Returns it'd be unwise to go back to my blind Square Enix fanboyism of pre-2012 that made be into a blind idiot and made me miss on soooooooo many great franchises just because I thought only Square Enix make good RPGs

Sure FFXV is a step in the right direction but Square has a looooooooooot to do to gain me back as a fan

The damage done will take a while to fix and honest to God Hajime Tabata and the FFXIV Realm Reborn team are the only people at Square that I trust

Nomura is dragging Kingdom Hearts to it's grave with each and every new addition to the plot and I can never trust the likes of him to the VII remake after the atrocity that is Advent Children,Motomu Toriyama can go firetruck himself after trashing Final Fantasy's name and turning it into a mockery with the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy

Be wise not to attach your heart to the entire company as most likely they don't care about us core fans........only be attached to the creator\s that shows legitimate passion for their work so that if they one day left the company you'd support them in their new venture

Without Kojima I no longer give a shit about Konami

Without Sakaguchi I stopped giving a shit about 50% of what Square Enix does with Final Fantasy unless Tabata and Ito are working on it

and people like Masahiro Sakurai,Junichi Masuda and Eiji Aonuma are huuuge reasons why I'm still a Nintendo fan

The company as a name doesn't care about you, what cares about you and your feedback are those individuals working in it

Otherwise Square Enix would've been losing money by the motherload if Tabata didn't take the directorial rule from Nomura for FFXV

Rather pessimistic, but hey, your opinion. I don't judge.

Not pessimistic,it's called being cautious

Just because I'm a fan of a franchise or two doesn't mean I should like everything the company does to prove myself as a fan

If a product has a problem I will state said problem especially if it's a continiuous one when someone like Nomura refuse to listen to feedback from consumers

I hear you, Shinobi! Square's an awesome company, and I've played a ton of their games! I've played all of the Kingdom Hearts games, and I've played a great many Final Fantasies, and I've also played Chrono Trigger and Tomb Raider! (Yes, the Square Enix Tomb Raider, mind you!) I've really enjoyed all of these games, as they've provided me with hours of entertainment! I'm currently playing Final Fantasy XV, and am enjoying it to death! I happily await 2.8 and Kingdom Hearts III, and until then, I'll just keep supporting Square!

Next year's gonna be a big year for both Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy indeed! :O

Pretty much

Only that I am also excited about Dissidia, but with the whole BS of Square making such a big deal out of characters in the previous games being in the game, I am getting rather worried.

I Am Setsuna was also pretty fun but it had a crappy story and the limited OST had a pretty big impact on me in terms of getting bored, more than I thought it would.

With Dissidia they're particularly hyping Nomura characters more than others

Notice how not only they're the first one revealed before the other Non-Nomura designed ones........but also that some of them got their own firetrucking trailers like Sephiroth despite not changing his moveset much from what I saw

I'll be excited once a Ps4 version release date is shown but for now..................eh

As for I Am Setsuna, the soundtrack alone was a big reason I couldn't get into it

Don't get me wrong I loooove Piano instruments in my game soundtracks but when it's the entire firetrucking soundtrack alone it gets really boring

As for the story, the characters were boring as they seemed like the typical moping crew that would march in games like Final Fantasy XIII and Birth by Sleep that has nothing to talk about but fate, destiny, light and darkness

Glad to know you're a fan, but you need to know about the corporate side of Square Enix to truly appreciate what a diverse company they are.

If you don't mind dude i like to say I'm both a proud fan of Squaresoft & a proud fan of Square Enix even though i do have other favorite games from other VG developers too as well who knows i might become their fan too as well or i might not become their fan even though i might love some if not most or all of their games & if you like examples when I've said i do have other favorite games from other VG developers too as well who knows i might become their fan too as well or i might not become their fan even though i might love some if not most or all of their games :).

Feel free to ask and I'll gladly give you members some examples only if you want me to i don't mind & give you examples only if you want me to :).
