"Let the X-Over begin..."

 

 

Arc 1: Beginnings

 

 

City Z from One Punch Man (Son Gohan, Gon Freecs, Serena/Sailor Moon, and Killua Zoldyck)

 

An orange stray cat was walking across the concrete ground between a building and a fence. The cat stopped its own tracks when it saw a young spiky haired boy with a purple attire lying against a building unconscious. The cat slowly moved closer to the boy, gently putting its on his face.

 

The boy's eyes started to open. His arm slowly rose which startled the cat, jumping in the air and scurrying off in the opposite direction from where it came.

 

"....Ugh..." The boy's hand rubbed his forehead. "Wh-...What happened?" The boy's eyes awoke only halfway. His vision was blurred upon waking up. He looked around with his vision clearing. From what he could see, it was as bright as day. He could hear people chatting about. He soon got up, stumbling a bit before regaining his balance by using the building wall for a little support. He soon looked to his left and a bunch of people walking about through their daily lives.

"This doesn't look like home...Where am I?" He asked himself.

 

"Hey!" Another young voice was heard. The spiky haired boy looked both ways. Not one soul was there.

"Who's there?" The boy asked, still looking around.

 

"Up here! Behind you!"

 

The boy turned around and looked up, stepping back. Another young boy was there, on top of the roof of the building. He wore green clothing along with a yellow backpack which seemed to have a fishing rod in it.

 

The boy on the roof smiled and said, "My name's Gon. Who are you?" He asked politely.

"I'm Son Gohan." The boy responded.

 

Musutafu, Japan from My Hero Academia (Son Goten, Monkey D. Luffy, the Bobobo Gang, Kotestu, and Barnaby)

 

In a giant city with multiple districts, some of the X-ers here would probably be laying around in an alley, on top of a building, or even on a perfectly clean beach. Or in a tree...That happens. It would still be daylight around here though and tons of people are bustling about.

 

Karakura Town (Akame, Haru, SHUN, and Giorno)

The sun was just coming up once the X-ers here landed. This would be a quiet town. Not many people are roaming about here. In fact...Barely anyone's around here...

 

A red haired girl lies on a building wearing a school uniform. She seems unconscious...Not even the sunlight has any effect on her...

West City

 

Bobobo and Don Patch stopped when Gon just yelled.  "Hunters?"  The two of them asked.  "I'm guessing it's not the deer or rabbit kind of hunter."  Jelly added  Bobobo stands up and says:  "Well the three of us are Wiggin specialists."

 

"Sounds good to us."  Bobobo replied to Kotetsu's question.  Don Patch crossed his arms and thought:  All kinds of tech?  I wonder if there's a churro maker over there.

Gon's eyes widened when they asked what a Hunter is. "Y-You mean none of you know? How couldn't you know??" He asked in bewilderment. "A Hunter is a person that gets to travel all around the entire world for not only things that are rare and valuable, but to also protect people and nature!" Gon started to explain. "There are Hunters that go out and discover ancient artifacts to restore, hunt down dangerous criminals, track down rare ingredients to make the best food out there, and of course hunt for treasure." Gon explained. "My dad's a famous Hunter himself. I never got to know him early on since he abandoned me and all to be a Hunter, but I did get meet him recently!" He said smiling. He then looked at Boruto. "Now about Nen. It's not a type of Chakra. It's actually a really powerful energy that takes a lot of time to get the hang of. And Nen is necessary to become Hunter. It's really complex at first. First are the 4 basic techniques: Ten, Zestu, Ren, and Hatsu. I would explain them to you, but that would take weeks to explain. Heh heh!" He said, chuckling and rubbing the back of his head. "Anyways, that's the type of energy me and Killua use. Your energy is completely different. Same as Gohan's Ki."

 

Haru then jumped up at the suggestion to go to Capsule Corps. "Haru would like to go!" She said. "Haru wants to know more about herself, so maybe this can help Haru!" She said out loud.

"Never heard of a Hunter either..." Luffy tilted his head, thinking hard. "But it sounds like you have many great adventures, hehe! And the treasure Hunters sound kinda like pirates to me." He chuckled, wondering what exciting kind of places a Hunter gets to see.

 

So many strange people here... Pirates, ninjas, a robot, assasins, then this boy whose hair turned yellow for no reason... and now a Hunter. And none of them seems to know anything about magic... or maybe they just use different terms for it? Well that doesn't matter right now. First I need to find out where I actually am, Gray thought and then turned to Gohan. "Sounds like a plan. Hopefully she can tell us how we got here, and also find a way for us to get back."

~Son Goten and Serena/Sailor Moon~

 

~West City~

 

"What do you mean? I'm always like this. I wanna know how you got younger? Last time I saw you, you were bigger." He said. Goten was confused about his older brother, wondering how he's got younger. Not as young as Goten. Serena gets up and walks towards the others, wanting to know where they at. "So where are we?"

"Hmm... sounds the same to me, but whatever," Boruto shrugged.

 

"So where are we?"

 

Boruto asked. "Oh hey. You were that girl I saw fighting the monsters earlier. But uh, I guess you decided to change out of that weird costume you were in..."

 

"More new faces, eh? Seems like they're cropping up everywhere we step." Franky said, then answering her question. "We were just deciding on heading to some place called 'Capsule Corp'. I guess we'll be able to gather more info on what we're supposed to be doing there."

Shun and Killua found were transported again, this time by the mysterious stones.

Killua wasn't fond of arriving to the new location: Great, now it is overcrowded with people...I didn't even get to know the other kids who joined us earlier!

Meanwhile, Shun inspected the area and the others around him

Gon then yelled out loudly, gaining both Killua and Shun's attention.

When Gon mentioned that someone in the group looks like an assassin, Killua immediately rushed to her and tried to start a conversation: "Yep, you are an assassin, alright. What techniques do you use? 

Shun replied to Gon's question :"Well, I was hunting other duelists once..."

Shun then agreed to go to Capsule Corps: "I agree with Haru, we don't have a better lead anyway. "

Gohan nodded in agreement with a smile. "Alright, it's decided. We're going to West City and straight to Bulma's!" He said. "And maybe we can get to know each other along the way." He added on.
Gon smiled at the suggestion of heading to West City. He always loved exploring places that were unfamiliar to him. The boy took another look at the city from afar and noticed the type of land that he and the others were all standing on. He grinned and walked towards the edge. "Hey Gohan! Killua!" He called out as he turned his head around with a smile. "Race you!" He then jumped down, causing Gohan's eyes to widen. "GON!" He yelled as ran towards the edge. "You can't learn Ki like tha- Huh?"
 
"YAHOO!!" Turns out the kind of land they were standing on was a large hill and Gon was taking full advantage of it. By rolling down the hill. "Hah hah hah hah!"

 

Haru watched and was immediately eager to try it. "Haru wants to do that too!" She then jumped and started rolling down on her sides. "Wheeee!!" The fun these two children were having by just rolling was immeasurable. The joy was as pure as it could be. Once they made it to the bottom Gon and Haru may have stopped rolling but couldn't stop laughing. "Hee Hee Hee! Haru enjoyed that! Hee Hee!"

Gohan felt the urge to roll down as well. Of course, he slightly preferred flying there but...

"Here I come!" He said jumping and rolling down like a ball. "Waaah!!" Looks like he took the fun option. "Woah woah wooooah!!" As Gohan made it to the bottom, unlike Gon and Haru, he didn't stop rolling. Instead, his path was halted by hitting a tree while upside down on his head. Once he fell over again on his front side, the young Saiyan sat up and rubbed his head. "That..." He turned his head around with a bright smile. "Was awesome!! Heh heh heh!"

The trio watched as Gon, Haru, and Gohan roll down the hill everyone was apparently on.  "Race you guys to the bottom!"  Jelly shouted as he ran and leaped over the edge. 

 

He morphs into a ball and rolls down at a decent speed.  But Don Patch, on a skateboard, quickly caught up with him.  Don Patch​:  "You're not gonna win with me around!"  Jelly​:  "We'll see about that!"  "Neither of you chumps will win!"  Bobobo shouted while sliding down on a pair of...snow skis? Anyway the trio were neck and neck.  Not one could gain a lead on the others.  They were so caught up with each other that they didn't notice the large boulder ahead of them and crashed into it.

 

The trio latch off the rock and all shout:  "Yeah!!  That was great!"

Seeing the others running down the hill and obviously enjoying it, Luffy couldn’t just stand still anymore.

“This looks like fun, hehe.” He chuckled. “But wait till you see me coming! Gum Gum Balloon!” He then inflated himself rapidly through his mouth, making his body resemble a balloon.

“Hmm…” Luffy tried to get over the edge but the new shape of his body made this task quite difficult.

“You need some help?” Gray noticed Luffy’s dilemma, walked behind him and smoothly kicked his butt, sending him over the edge and down the hill.

After bouncing for a few seconds Luffy kept rolling down the way, gained more and more speed and was heading straight at Gon and Haru, all the while getting dizzier and dizzier.

“I-I-I ca-ca-ca-can’t st-st-st-st-stop-p-p-p!!!!” He shouted, hoping someone would stop his rolling.

Watching the whole scene Gray simply shook his head. “Geez… he should’ve seen that coming. I guess he will come to a halt, somehow.”

Gray then also wanted to make his way down. Using his ice magic he created an icy way along the hill. In the next moment he created some ice-skaters and put them on.

“This should work.” He said, feeling kinda excited now, and then began to ice-skate down the hill.

Barnaby quickly shook his head, blinking at Rin. "Was...just curious. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable. I promise that I will avoid on pulling it!" arnaby said as he suggested for them to follow behind Gohan. "Where I come from, we have people who are born with supernatural powers called NEXT. But I've never seen a NEXT ability that would cause the user to develop a tail. Then again, you're not a NEXT...you're very different from what Kotetsu and I are used to." Barnaby said, forming small talk as they followed to the Capsule Corps. Kotetsu followed, and his instincts quickly kicked in when Luffy began to roll out of control down the hill and straight at Gon and Haru. Kotetsu hurried over. "H-Hey be careful!!" Kotetsu called. As he hurried to try and reach Luffy, he slipped on the ice that Gray had created, falling forward as it forced him to run even faster down the hill to avoid actually falling. Which of course only made it worse, because as he reached to help Luffy, the pull only caused for Kotetsu to fall and roll down the hill along with Luffy, screaming on his own accord.

Akame - West City

 

Akame was a bit surprised when a couple kids seemed to instantly tell that she was an assassin. How could they tell so easily...? She kept the thought to herself. "Techniques? I often make use of stealth and speed. My blade helps as well," she said as she held up the sheathed Murasame. "The Teigu Murasame. It infects opponents with a cursed poison after the slightest scratch," she explained. It didn't seem to work as well as usual, though... "Are you an assassin as well?"

 

Suddenly, everyone began to leave for the city. The boy, Killua, was called over by Gon. "It looks like we might have to continue our conversation later," Akame said. I am curious to learn more about what he can do... he looks young, but I get the feeling that he's talented. Akame followed the others to West City, keeping out of harm's way as she moved along.

 

 

Sarada - West City

 

Sarada sighed. "He just goes for all the attention, huh...?" she muttered to herself. "Boruto, we should go with the others. Don't want to fall behind..." She ran off in the direction everyone else seemed to be heading in. It seemed like complete chaos already, with people rolling and going out of control. Sarada avoided the areas that seemed like trouble and stuck to the more open areas in the crowd.

Noticing the direction Luffy was heading, Gon quickly got up and held both of his hands out. Once Luffy made contact, he moved back just an inch upon impact. But Luffy would stop immediately once Gon's hands touched him. "Gotcha!" He exclaimed.

Haru giggled and then looked back up at the others that were still on top of the hill. "Come on everybody! You have to roll like Haru and Mr. Gon! Especially you Mr. Shun!" She yelled out.

Kotetsu followed, and his instincts quickly kicked in when Luffy began to roll out of control down the hill and straight at Gon and Haru. Kotetsu hurried over. "H-Hey be careful!!" Kotetsu called. "Oops... sorry about that!" Gray shouted when he saw Kotetsu slipping on the ice he has created and rolling down the hill.

He was about to use his ice magic to help him, but then noticed that Kotetsu was heading straight at Luffy, and about to slam into the soft, balloon-like body of his.

That should bring him to a halt...

~Son Goten and Serena/Sailor Moon~

 

~West City~

 

He smiles as he joined the fun as well. He jumped off and begin to rolling down the hill. He laughs while rolling. Serena stand too close to the edge. She then slip and begin to roll as well, screaming fearfully as she rolls. "HELP ME!!!!!" She goes faster and faster until She ran into the tree, faceplam against the tree.

"Huh... guess we're doing this now. Oh well. Time for FRANKY TANK!" Franky exclaimed.

 

His metal legs then transformed into a pair of long treads.

 

Rin's eyes lighted up. "Whooooa! You just get cooler by the minute! C-Can I ride with you?!"

 

"Sure thing! Hop on!" Franky said. "How about you, little ninja bro?" He said to Boruto.

 

"Eh, I'll pass," Boruto said.

 

"Suit yourself. Now let's RIDE!" With Rin sat on his right shoulder, Franky moved forward, starting off slow but then picking up speed. 

 

They cried "WHOOOOHOOOOO!" as they started going faster and faster downhill.

 

"Boruto, we should go with the others. Don't want to fall behind..."

 

"Yeah, well, I got my own way of travel." Boruto then blew through a set of hand seals, ending it by slamming his hand on the ground. "Water Style: Flowing Watertrail!" From his hand produced a huge amount of water that flowed down over the edge of the hill and ran down towards the bottom, creating an artificial water slide.

 

Boruto then pulled out a plain white waveboard with the Uzumaki symbol plastered on the front. "See ya down there, Sarada!" He said as he jumped on the board and slid down the trail he made, slipping and swerving around the space of the trail.

 

"Now this is how ya do it! Hahahaha!"

Once every one made it down, Gohan jumped up and faced the city before the group. "We're on our way! Guys..." He pointed in the direction towards the futuristic location.

West City. A bustling sight filled with hovering cars, large buildings, people, and anthropomorphic animals. Mostly cats and dogs. So it wasn't really any surprise that these guys didn't stand out too much...Unless they flew, which one of the was. Gohan to be exact. He was just gliding above the ground facing the group as they were walking.

 

"So let's see...

Gon, Killua, Haru, Serena, Boruto, Sarada, Goten, Kotestu, Barnaby, Rin, Shun, Luffy, Franky, Grey, Akame, Bobobo, Don Patch, and Jelly Jiggler. Is that right?" He said, trying to remember everyone's name. Haru happily nodded. "Uh-Huh! That's Haru's and Mr. Shun's names!"

-Kotetsu & Barnaby - West City-

Kotetsu's landing was softened by Luffy's balloon like body. "Sorry, Luffy." Kotetsu hummed, quickly standing up. As they reached the city, Serena had slammed her face face first into a tree after falling off the hill. Barnaby was quick to hurry over to her aid, helping her up as he took one of her hands gently and had another around her shoulder to help her stand. "Are you alright?! That looked like it hurt...a lot." Barnaby asked as he looked at her worryingly. Hitting face first against a tree was certainly...not good, and by all means, very painful. "You're not bleeding, are you?" Meanwhile Kotetsu looked up at Gohan, who was happily flying over the group. "Oh man. Reminds me of High Sky...except more controlled." Kotetsu chuckled, glancing around the city. This place seemed more relaxed despite the city like atmosphere, and the fact that they didn't stand out as one would expect, made it all more interesting to him. "Is this friend of yours, what was the name again, Bulma, correct? Is she an engineer? Or a scientist?"

The trio nod when Gohan mentioned their names.  "You know, actually being in this city has a bigger feel than looking at it from outside."  Don Patch comments while folding his arms behind him.  "Yeah.  Now I get why you think it's sort of like Cyber City."  Bobobo adds with both hands in his pockets.  Jelly looked all around and thought:  ​I wonder if there are any jelly stores around here. 

Luffy didn't even notice that Kotetsu slammed into him, still dizzy from all the rolling. Slowly but steady his body regained its normal shape, at the same time Gray reached the end of the hill and removed the ice-skaters.

As they walked into West City, Luffy's eyes went wider and wider and a huge sparkle appeared in them. "This town looks AMAZING!!" Luffy has never seen such a futuristic city before, so it all really amazed him. The same went for Gray, who stared at all the hovering cars with an expression of fascination. "Quite interesting... and I don't feel any presence of magic here, I wonder how that works."

 

"Hey! Those cats and dogs are walking on two legs!" Luffy shouted excitedly, pointing at all the anthropomorphic animals. "And they're wearing clothes, just like Chopper! Wish he was here to see this, hehe." He chuckled, eager to see more of West City.

When Gohan mentioned their names Gray nodded "Yeah, that's right", while Luffy was too distracted by his surroundings to hear the question.

Stealth and speed uh? How fast is she?

Killua's eyes widened in excitment when Akame explained about The Teigu Mursame. "Cursed poison? Sounds cool. I wonder how sharp that blade is." Killua said that despite just hearing that it is poisoned, not because he got reckless from excitment, but because he was immune to poison.

"Yeah, I am an assassin too."

 Killua was dissapointed when the conversation was cut short by Gon. Just when it was getting interesting...Oh well... "Yeah...see you at the bottom." Killua shouted to Gon: "I am coming!" Killua then rolled down the hill, all the way to the bottom.

Shun however, just prefered to fly to the bottom. He summoned Rise Falcon and flew to the bottom, even though Haru invited him to roll down.

While Gon said everyone's names, Shun nodded and smiled to confirm, while Killua was interested about the assassin's name: Akame? So that's her name.

-Kotetsu & Barnaby - West City-

After Barnaby Help Serena up, her face was red and has a bruise while her eyes were swirling comically. "ohhh.... is it lunchtime yet, mom? she groans and begin to wobbling.

Franky and Rin made it down the hill to the others. Meanwhile, coming to the end of his man-made water slide, Boruto braked to a stop on his board, splashing some water forward onto Sarada.

"Yeah, nothing too strange here. Except for maybe the animals, but hey, I'm not one to judge," Franky said.

 

"Same here," Rin said.

 

Gon, Killua, Haru, Serena, Boruto, Sarada, Goten, Kotestu, Barnaby, Rin, Shun, Luffy, Franky, Grey, Akame, Bobobo, Don Patch, and Jelly Jiggler. Is that right?" He said, trying to remember everyone's name.

 

"That's right! Boruto Uzumaki at your service!"

 

"Yep, that's me. I'm Rin!"

 

"I'm Franky all right, but not just Franky!" The eccentric shipwright began dancing and doing poses once more. "I'm the most happenin', straight-shootin', ass kickin' shipwright you've ever seen in your life! SUPER!"

Sarada

 

Sarada made it to the bottom without any issues; however, she was unfortunately not safe from the chaos thanks to Boruto's antics. The wave of cold water was a surprise, and she turned back to her old teammate and glared at him. "Did you have to splash all of that at me, too?! This isn't a time for your jokes, Boruto," she lectured angrily before turning her attention back towards the city. Just like the Hidden Leaf, it was huge. It was filled with all sorts of crazy technology that she'd never seen, too. "Wow... this place is incredible," she muttered.

 

Akame

 

Akame nodded as Gon listed off her name with the others. The city the group found themselves in was certainly interesting; it seemed peaceful, too. This was a relief to her. After spending so long in the corrupt Imperial Capital, it was nice to arrive to a place that was doing well. The technology, however, did confuse her.

The wave of cold water was a surprise, and she turned back to her old teammate and glared at him. "Did you have to splash all of that at me, too?! This isn't a time for your jokes, Boruto,"

 

Boruto stuck his tongue as he grinned sheepishly. "Aw come on, a little water never hurt anybody!"

Gohan smiled at the reactions everyone gave and nodded back. "Good to know I got it all right. Heh heh!" He looked at Kotestu who asked him about Bulma. "I'd say she's a little bit of both actually. She's pretty amazing when it comes to technology and stuff like that. Though she can be a little loud and even scary." He said rubbing the back of his head.

Gon looked around with a sense of amazement. The flying cars and walking animals surprised him a bit. They almost reminded him of the Chimera Ants except they were more peaceful. He even saw some people having dinosaurs as pets! "Wow...What a town." He commented.

Haru looked at Franky for a moment. "Mr. Franky really likes to show-off, doesn't he?" She whispered to herself. The sights she saw didn't faze her due to her amnesia. Haru wasn't sure what was weird or what wasn't weird.

 

Gohan then descended down, seemingly leading the group. As they continued walking, the spiky haired half-Saiyan spotted a round building with the C.C. symbol on the front. He pointed at the house. "That's it! Capsule Corp's right over there!"
