"Let the X-Over begin..."

 

 

Arc 1: Beginnings

 

 

City Z from One Punch Man (Son Gohan, Gon Freecs, Serena/Sailor Moon, and Killua Zoldyck)

 

An orange stray cat was walking across the concrete ground between a building and a fence. The cat stopped its own tracks when it saw a young spiky haired boy with a purple attire lying against a building unconscious. The cat slowly moved closer to the boy, gently putting its on his face.

 

The boy's eyes started to open. His arm slowly rose which startled the cat, jumping in the air and scurrying off in the opposite direction from where it came.

 

"....Ugh..." The boy's hand rubbed his forehead. "Wh-...What happened?" The boy's eyes awoke only halfway. His vision was blurred upon waking up. He looked around with his vision clearing. From what he could see, it was as bright as day. He could hear people chatting about. He soon got up, stumbling a bit before regaining his balance by using the building wall for a little support. He soon looked to his left and a bunch of people walking about through their daily lives.

"This doesn't look like home...Where am I?" He asked himself.

 

"Hey!" Another young voice was heard. The spiky haired boy looked both ways. Not one soul was there.

"Who's there?" The boy asked, still looking around.

 

"Up here! Behind you!"

 

The boy turned around and looked up, stepping back. Another young boy was there, on top of the roof of the building. He wore green clothing along with a yellow backpack which seemed to have a fishing rod in it.

 

The boy on the roof smiled and said, "My name's Gon. Who are you?" He asked politely.

"I'm Son Gohan." The boy responded.

 

Musutafu, Japan from My Hero Academia (Son Goten, Monkey D. Luffy, the Bobobo Gang, Kotestu, and Barnaby)

 

In a giant city with multiple districts, some of the X-ers here would probably be laying around in an alley, on top of a building, or even on a perfectly clean beach. Or in a tree...That happens. It would still be daylight around here though and tons of people are bustling about.

The sun was just coming up once the X-ers here landed. This would be a quiet town. Not many people are roaming about here. In fact...Barely anyone's around here...

 

A red haired girl lies on a building wearing a school uniform. She seems unconscious...Not even the sunlight has any effect on her...

"A little loud huh?  We know a few people like that."  Bobobo remarked. Don Patch and Jelly Jiggler nodded in agreement.  When Gohan pointed out the Capsule Corp building Don Patch sprinted while shouting:  "Great!  We made it!"  But he didn't get too far as Bobobo snatched him by the legs and slammed him to the sidewalk.  Bobobo:  "You dummy!  Gohan isn't finished yet!"

Gohan made a nervous chuckle at the response by the Bobobo gang. "Though let's not try to barge in and ambush her with questions. This could be pretty big for her too." Gohan explained while walking to the building. "Oh! And be sure to call her 'Miss'. She doesn't like being called something that's close to meaning old." He also explained. Gon nodded to these notes that were presented to him.

 

-Capsule Corp-

 

"Here we are!" Gohan announced. Inside the building, there would be a receptionist desk where a female Capsule Corp employee would be at. Some couches and a table would be on the group's left to wait at.

"Ah, Son Gohan. Back again, I see." The receptionist said. "Yup!" Gohan jumped up and flew over to the desk. "Is Bulma busy right now? This is kind of urgent. We really need her."

 

"Of course. I'm sure she's in the Autium right now. I'll be sure to let her know, okay?"

"Thanks!" Gohan descended down and walked back to the group smiling. "She'll be here in a bit."

-Kotetsu & Barnaby - Capsule Corp-

Barnaby watched Serena. At least it didn't seem she was that badly injured. If anything just a tad bit wobbly. Barnaby kept a close eye on her to make sure she wouldn't collapse where she stood. "I don't think it's lunchtime just yet. We're at Capsule Corps though." Barnaby said. The bruise on her face looked like it really hurt. Maybe they could get some bandages sooner or later for it. Kotetsu looked around. At least the waiting entrance was big enough to contain all of them. "Alright. Let's hope your friend Bulma can figure out about these crystals then." Kotetsu said, still holding his in his hand, twirling it between his fingers as he did so. He turned to Barnaby and Serena. "Barnaby, this is no time for flirting!" Kotetsu cooed, only to receive the full backlash of Barnaby's response. "I am not! She hit her face in the tree!"

Heeding Gohan's word, Franky, Rin and Boruto waited with the others for Bulma's arrival.

 

Barnaby watched Serena. At least it didn't seem she was that badly injured.

 

"Hey, you really got yourself hurt huh?" Boruto asked. "You seem a bit clumsy for someone that was fighting monsters with a tiara, uh... what was your name again?"

 

Rin spoke up. "I think she said her name was Serena."

 

"Really? That's funny. You look more like an Usagi to me."

"You got it!"  The trio replied to Gohan's instructions. 

 

They hop over to an available couch and slouched a bit before relaxing.

"Let's hope she has some answers." Gray replied to Gohan and patiently waited with the rest for Bulma.

 

Luffy on the other hand started to get bored again. He laid down on one of the couches and almost in an instant fell asleep, a snot bubble inflating and deflating in sync with his snoring.

"So this is where Miss Bulma lives?" A curious Gon asked Gohan looking around the area. The Saiyan boy nodded in response. "This is where they make the capsules, little bit-sized objects that can hold a car, a table of food, or even an entire house!"

"Well, not to brag, but my dad's a pretty genius guy when he made these things. To think this pretty face is part of a world changing piece of technology! That's the Breif's family for ya!" A female voice had said. A blue haired woman wearing a purple dress was holding the hand of a purple haired toddler who looked to be the age of 3. He wore a small yellow shirt that said "CATS" in white text along with black shorts. The boy smiled once he saw a familiar spiky haired boy. "Go-Goban!" He spoke. The purple haired boy let go of his mother's hand and walked towards Gohan, holding his hands out. Gohan picked up the boy smiling back at him. "Hey there little Trunks! Heh heh heh!"
"Hello there Gohan. Nice to see you drop by! Trunks seems pretty happy to see you too." The woman said chuckling a little.

Gon looked at Gohan, the baby, then back at the woman as they had their interaction. He was trying to put two-and-two together.

"You must be Miss Bulma, right? My name's Gon Freecs!" He said. Bulma giggled when Gon called her 'Miss' Bulma. "My, you're a sweet boy! Friend of yours Gohan?"

"Yup, though I met him recently. Just today actually." Baby Trunks reached up to Gohan's nose and grabbed it, making Gohan's voice sound funny.

"Trunks, you got my nose!" Little Trunks giggled and let go of the boy's nose.

Meanwhile, Bulma noticed the amount of different people that were in this area. It surprised her a little, but didn't faze her. She leaned over to Gohan and whispered: "Are these your new friends too?" She asked. The boy nodded. "It's a little complicated."

Capsules?  That sounds familiar.  Bobobo thought after Gohan mentioned them.  When Bulma came the trio stood up in unison and said:  "Hello miss Bulma!"  "I'm Bobobo.  These are my buds Jelly Jiggler and Don Patch."  ​Jelly:​  "Nice to meet you miss Bulma."  Don Patch​:  "Ditto.  So, do you have a ch-" Bobobo smacks Don Patch upside the head before finishing that statement.  Bobobo:  "Don't ask stupid questions right now."  Don Patch:  "Alright already!"

Meanwhile, Bulma noticed the amount of different people that were in this area. It surprised her a little, but didn't faze her. She leaned over to Gohan and whispered: "Are these your new friends too?" She asked. The boy nodded. "It's a little complicated."

 

The three got up to greet Bulma.

 

"So you're the inventor lady that the squirts were talkin' about," Franky said, his giant form towering over Bulma. He flipped up his sunglasses and "My name's Franky: cyborg shipwright and ace mechanic. You wouldn't happen to know Dr. Vegapunk, would you?"

 

Rin waved. "My name's Rin! I'm an Exorcist!" His demonic tail waggling around. "Oh yeah and I'm a demon too, but uh I figure that you're used to seeing stuff like that given what I've seen of this world so far." He was about to go on, but then Boruto jumped onto his shoulders to steal the attention away.

 

"And I'm Boruto! I'm the world's most amazing, super ultra powerful ninja!!" He exclaimed.

 

"Hey get off me!" Rin yelled as Boruto struggled to keep his hands' balance on Rin's shoulders as Rin swayed around trying to buck him off. Eventually, Boruto's weight gave in on him and he fell down, taking Rin with him as he landed directly on his back.

- Kotetsu & Barnaby - Capsule Corps-

Kotetsu and Barnaby looked at each other in awe of the explanation of the capsules. A whole house in a tiny capsule? That was amazing! "You hear that, Barnaby? We don't have anything like that back at home, do we?" Kotetsu asked with a sheepish smile. "None at all. Sternbild is advanced for what it is, but we have yet to reach to this level. It's amazing." Barnaby confessed, amused at the idea that one could fit so much in a tiny capsule. If that were to reach their city, it was sure to change it beyond of what they knew it as. Miss Bulma showed up, introducing herself as she held a little boy. As they all began to introduce themselves, Barnaby and Kotetsu found a chance to do the same, walking up to Bulma and lifting their visors to see her better. "Nice to meet you, miss Bulma, or is it mam'?" Kotetsu asked with a smile. "I'm Kotetsu, and this is my partner, Barnaby." "Nice to meet you." Barnaby added. Kotetsu turned to look at Trunks, who was currently in Gohan's arms. "Hello, little guy!" Kotetsu cooed. It made him think of Kaede when she was around that age. She was the cutest baby ever! At least, in Kotetsu's eyes. Barnaby rolled his eyes momentarily, before turning to Bulma once more. "We apologize for...the sudden and unexpected visit. It has been a long day, and we are all equally as confused of the situation at hand. Gohan told us that you might be able to help us out with something, actually." Barnaby said as he took the crystal from Kotetsu, who was too busy cooing over baby Trunks. He then showed Bulma the crystal. "Do you happen to know what these are?"

Luffy was still peacefully sleeping, dreaming of adventures and... meat.

 

When Bulma appeared Gray also introduced himself, just like the rest. "My name's Gray. I'm a magician and a member of the strongest guild in the Kingdom of Fiore. But it looks like magic is not common in this place..." He rubbed the back of his head, still confused but also amazed by all the technology. How can a whole house fit into a tiny capsule if not with the help of magic?

~Capsule Corp~

 

The blue haired scientist chuckled at the introductions with a smile. She knew some bizarre people before, but this batch of newbies just peaked a little higher on her list of strange friends. Although she got invisibly irritated when she heard 'Mam', she smiled through. "Just call me Bulma. And it's a pleasure to meet you all. Heck, any friend of Gohan's is a friend of mine." She said. Bulma then looked at the crystal that Kotestu was holding. The sight of it immediately fascinated her. "Well, what do we have here? I've never seen anything like this gem before and that's saying a lot for me!" She commented.

 

Haru began to go to Bulma to introduce herself as well, but before she could the girl noticed that Luffy was sleeping on the couch. She went towards him and poked on the bubble. "Mr. Luffy, wake up. Ms. Bulma's here." She said.

The bubble popped and Luffy opened the eyes, seeing Haru standing next to him. 

"Huh? Is the food ready?!" He quickly sat up and looked around, but instead of food he saw Bulma, standing in front of the rest of the group. "Ah, you must be this scientist. Nice to meet you, I'm Monkey D. Luffy, the future Pirate King!" Luffy introduced himself, arms behind his head and a huge grin on his face.

Sarada

 

Sarada sighed, embarrassed once again by Boruto's antics. "Why do you have to make a show out of everything you do?" she glared at her partner before turning her attention towards the inventor. "I apologize for my friend's behavior... I'm Sarada Uchiha, his teammate," she introduced herself.

 

Akame quietly watched the others introduce themselves. She felt as though she should also tell Bulma who she was. "My name is Akame," she kept her introduction short and simple. She didn't feel a need to go into any more detail than just that.

~Son Goten~

 

"Bulma!" He laughs as he goes to her. He was happy to see her. "where's Trunks-?" Goten then saw Trunks, but as a toddler. "Trunks? Is that you? Don't tell me you're shrunk too."

The three got up to greet Bulma.

Bulma tilted her head at the question. "Dr. Vega-Who? Never heard of him." She said. The blue haired woman continued to smile through everyone's introductions, even though some confused her. Somehow I'm always ending up with the surreal people... She thought.

 

Gohan, still holding Trunks, then looked at Goten. "Shrunk? This is how this Trunks has always been. Just a little playful toddler." He said. Little Trunks tilted his head and blinked at the sight of Goten. The toddler looked at Gohan and Goten, wondering which one of the two was which.

- Kotetsu & Barnaby - Capsule Corps-

Kotetsu continued to smile as he watched Trunk. Such a cute little toddler! It made him nostalgic of when Kaede was a toddler. However his attention was then turned to Boruto. "No way, you're a ninja? Like the ones from TV or the ones from history books?" Kotetsu asked, standing up and looking over at Boruto. Though in his mind, Boruto didn't look like a ninja. Then again, maybe in another world, not all ninjas wore black clothing. Barnaby kept his attention on Bulma, however, as he watched her inspect the crystal. "We have three of these crystals, each a different color. But all of them seem to have the same effect; for whatever reason, and of whatever power, these crystals were able to teleport all of us into this world. However they were activated of their own accord. We have no idea how to activate them on our own...or what they are even. Do you think you would be able to maybe find more information on them?" Barnaby asked, his arms crossed slightly. 

"Dr. Vega-Who? Never heard of him." She said.

 

"Oh, I see." Franky said.

 

"No way, you're a ninja? Like the ones from TV or the ones from history books?" Kotetsu asked, standing up and looking over at Boruto.

 

Boruto popped up from the ground. "Well, I've never been on TV before, and I do want to be written about in books someday, but yeah, I'm a ninja! I know all kinds of cool jutsu and stuff! I even took down a bunch of monsters all by myself not too long ago!"

 

"We have three of these crystals, each a different color. But all of them seem to have the same effect; for whatever reason, and of whatever power, these crystals were able to teleport all of us into this world. However they were activated of their own accord. We have no idea how to activate them on our own...or what they are even. Do you think you would be able to maybe find more information on them?" Barnaby asked, his arms crossed slightly. 

 

The mention of the mysterious crystals made Franky remember an important detail from their last scuffle.

 

"Oh yeah, and you might want to have a look at this too," He brought out his hand, and from a small hole in his palm popped out the small red ghostly orb that he obtained from Jack the Ripper. "Apparently one of these crystals is connected to this thing somehow. What that is, we still don't know yet..."

Hearing Boruto talk about being a ninja and his jutsus again, Luffy got really excited. "Hehe, can't wait to see you in a battle. And all of those amazing jutsus. Being a ninja must be awesome!"

 

When Gray saw the red orb inside Franky's hand and started at it in awe. "Another mysteries object... I really wanna know what this all is about."

~Capsule Corp~

 

Bulma then gave a confident grin. "Sure thing. With all the gizmos we have, we'll have these beauties broken down in a jiff." She said confidently. "Say, why don't you guys come on down to the lab? I bet there's something around that'll catch your eyes."

 

Gon nodded to the suggestion. "Sure! Sounds like fun!" He responded.

"Sounds like a plan. I can't wait to find out the true meaning behind those stones." Gray nodded.

 

"Ugh, hopefully there's something cool in the lab. But more importantly, do you have anything to eat here?! It's been a while since my last meal, and I couldn't even finish it. Anything would be fine, hehe." Luffy grinned, arms crossed behind his head.

~Capsule Corp~

 

Bulma then gave a confident grin. "Sure thing. With all the gizmos we have, we'll have these beauties broken down in a jiff." She said confidently. "Say, why don't you guys come on down to the lab? I bet there's something around that'll catch your eyes."

 

"Whatever you got, I hope it accounts for weird soul orb thingys. Seriously, I dunno what this thing is actually made out of..." Franky said.

- Kotetsu & Barnaby - Capsule Corps -

Barnaby nodded, smiling at the offer of the lab. "If you would allow us, we would be more than grateful. Heck, maybe we can find something that could help us communicate with our friends back at Sternbild City..." Barnaby hummed, nodding at Bulma. "Lead the way then." Barnaby said. Kotetsu was still paying attention to Boruto while also listening to Bulma. "You took down monsters?! They exist where you come from?! Barnaby and I have never encountered monsters...well there was that one time that this kid began to control a giant statue and made it move and attack and all of this crazy stuff, but I don't think that qualifies as a monster. Remember that, Barnaby?" Kotetsu asked. Barnaby waved from where he stood. "Of course. It was one of our first partnered up missions. It was the first mission you, for once, didn't cause that much of collateral damage, may I add." Barnaby added, much to Kotetsu's dismay, before deciding to ignore him and turn back to Boruto. "I would love to see you use those ninjutsus and skills as well." Kotetsu said before turning to Luffy, softly patting his shoulder. "Luffy, we just ate a few hours ago! Surely you can last for a bit longer! At least until we can figure out about the crystals that brought us here in the first place, hehe."

Luffy looked at Kotetsu like a little child that didn't get his toy. "Okay... hopefully the lab is a bit interesting."

The trio all shouted:  "Yes we will!"  when Bulman invited everyone to the lab.  An excited Bobobo says:  "Alright!  Who knows what sort of stuff is there?"  "Obviously Bulma, but it's much more fun to find out!"  Don Patch answers.  "Whatever is there, must be a whole bunch of it for a place like this."  Jelly added.
