It is that time of the year, when people such as me start anticipating E3 eagerly. Here are my predictions for each company:

Bethesda: Shows teaser for Elder Scrolls VI, announces The Evil Within sequel for 2018. Fallout VR shown, Quake Champions release date revealed, Doom sequel announced, Wolfenstein game announced releasing this fall, and last but not least, Fallout Shelter coming to PS4 and Switch.

Microsoft: Project Scorpio shown with fall release, State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, Forza Motorsport 7 and Sea of Thives announced to be releasing this year. Halo 6 (2018) and Onimusha reboot announced. Cuphead, Vampyr and We Happy Few shown, coming Fall 2017. Farcry 5 trailer shown. Hololens possibilities shown, and Oculus confirmed to work with Scorpio. Lots of VR and Augmented Reality games shown. Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer shown, releasing 2018, better visuals and performance on Scorpio. Middle-Earth: Shadows of War gameplay on Scorpio shown. Closes with Cyberpunk 2077, coming only to Scorpio, not Xbox One.

EA: Star Wars Battlefront 2 (releasing fall 2017), sports games, Plants vs Zombies 3, Star Wars from Visceral Games (RPG game) and indie titles. Shows off new Bioware game, revealed to be a new franchise inspired by Star Wars.

Ubisoft: South Park 2 (pushed to fall 2017), Assassin's Creed Empire (Egypt), Farcry 5, Just Dance 2018 focused. New Splinter Cell revealed to be a massively big open world game. The Division expansions shown.

Square-Enix: Extended gameplay from Microsoft conference for Kingdom Hearts. Demo available to be playable at their booth. Nier remaster in the works. World of Versus/Omen expansion for FFXV revealed. FF6, 8, 9 coming to PS4 as 30th anniversary celebration. FFVII trailer shown. Lightning Trilogy announced for PS4 and Xbox One. Avengers project shown. Dissidia for PS4 and Xbox One also shown.

Sony: opens with The Last of Us 2 gameplay, releasing 2018, followed by Sucker Punch new IP, a new open-world game which shows us Apocalypse in our times (with environmental disasters and war). Uncharted The Lost Legacy shown, Q1 2018 release. Assassins Creed DLC exclusivity revealed with trailer. Destiny 2 shown. Shenmue 3 trailer shown, with Shenmue HD collection in the works. Both releasing 2018. Street Fighter V DLC shown. New characters for Marvel vs Capcom revealed. Call of Duty 2017 (Vietnam) and Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay shown. WILD (Michel Ancel) trailer shown, releasing 2018. Sly Cooper movie re-announced with a game, Ratchet and Clank-style. Will be a soft reboot developed by Sanzaru Games, coming 2018. New remasters for Medievil 1 and 2 announced. New AAA PSVR game shown. Death Stranding shown. Detroit releasing this year. Days Gone releasing 2018. Closes with God of War, flagship title for 2017.

Nintendo: Mario Oddyssey, Smash Bros for WiiU/3DS, Mario Maker and Pokken Tournament, on Switch this year. New Metroid and Animal Crossing for Switch shown. Xenoblade 2 and Fire Emblem shown, Xenoblade coming in December with a Xenoblade X port. FFVII port confirmed for Switch (original, not Remake). Lady Layton (3DS) and Pikmin 3DS shown. Luigi's Mansion 3, Skyward Sword HD announced for Switch. Virtual console announced for Switch, with Gamecube as their flagship new inclusion. Mario Sunshine, Smash Melee, MGS: Twin Snakes, Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing all coming to it. Mother 3 on VC also announced to be localised. Mario X Rabbids game announced. Animal Crossing Mobile shown. Beyond Good and Evil HD and 2 coming to Switch, the latter being exclusive. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 ported to Switch. Closes with new mainline Pokemon game coming early 2018 with GSC Virtual console releases this fall, all on Switch.

Half of them are actually confirmed LOL. It's not a too far fetched list imo. There are some crazy predictions, yes, but I think my list seems kind of plausible for this year's E3.

That's some serious stuff that you're predicting there. Many of these seem plausible, though I'm going to be a little surprised if FF7 would make it to the Switch. It has been an incredibly long time since a major FF title made it to a Nintendo console. I believe there were parties of Nintendo and the Final Fantasy team that didn't get along, but I might be mistaken on that point. It would be fantastic to have Final Fantasy on Nintendo again, but I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet.

 

All this list needs is Golden Sun 4 and it would be pretty perfect.

well, last year we got ffxv in their conference, so it's kind of plausible. And phil spencer said that he was looking for a japanese game for their conference, so kingdom hearts 3 seems like the best bet for it.

This all seems cool. There are only a few things I want to comment on:

-KH3 at the Microsoft conference? That's... interesting. I know FFXV showed up at their conference last year, but that's different. Final Fantasy has been on X-box machines before, KH hasn't. Is a Microsoft audience really where a KH trailer should be shown?

-There won't be anything about the Marvel/Square Enix game. The video said more info in 2018. So it's a no go.

-I still think it's a little too early for The Last of Us 2. I would guess wait until the next Playstation Experience.

i would have never guessed ffxv at the microsoft press, specially after so much playstation marketing from the game, so dont let your guard down. About avengers, yeah its just wishful thinking, and finally with the last of us, uncharted 4 showed gameplay one and a half year before release. I think tlou2 seems likely to be a fall 2018 game, which makes it the perfect fit to show some gameplay. After all, they have been working for more than a year and a half on it. Just remember what i say, tlou2 will be sony's opening game for the press.

i doubt we'll see anything from TLOU2 outside of maybe another concept trailer. i was under the impression the game had just begun development.

 

and i'd love for a sequel to The Evil Within that fixes the weird issues the first one had and has a stronger story.
