Don't read if you're going to the concert and you want it to be a complete surprise. Anyway, can we discuss the fact that they play Vanitas' theme in the Heroes and Heroines medley (time mark 10:15) in the Kingdom Hearts Concert? Like...WHAT IS GOING ON? Think they're foreshadowing something or is it just because Vanitas' theme itself is a medley of Sora, Ventus and Roxas' themes?

But why would he join the good guys... I mean i wouldn't mind cause Vanitas is awesome and it would be cool to have some kind of Anti-Hero

I always believed that Vanitas will be on the "good" side in the end. Maybe it's just that he will return to Ven's heart, but I hope there is more to that. Personally I would like him to have contact with Kairi somehow. Even Dark Sora could fall in love with this girl. ^^

I don't understand why he would join the good guys either...I actually thought he was one of the 13 darknesses. Maybe he'll go through some "Let me be my own person arc" in the vein of Repliku and Roxas and he ends up joining the good guys. Maybe it means nothing...I don't know.

Him just returning to Ven's heart makes sense. Maybe he'll end up making the right choice and voluntarily going back to Ven just like Roxas did. That would be good.

Yeah I noticed this since the first moment but discarded it as important. I don't want to start thinking too much for nothing. :v

I think it's pretty much because of the fact that his theme is kind of a medley of Sora, Roxas, and Ventus' themes already, he just fits in there perfectly. Besides, if you want to conjure up a scenario, maybe it's meant to evoke an imaginary scene of Vanitas fighting all of the other heroes in the medley. As far is it foreshadowing him joining the heroes...ehhhhh well, who's to say, I personally don't see it happening that soon, especially since this would likely still be the same Vanitas that was first split from Ven and is destined to return to the time where they forcibly fuse together again, so he'd still be evil anyway. But who knows what Nomura has planned. Point is though, pretty music.

Well, Nomura did say that he got to pick the order of the setlists, and he does consider these concerts as important as a production title, so.... X3"

You know, it is strange to hear Vanitas's theme play in a track that's called Heroes And Heroines, cuz last time I checked, Vanitas is no hero! This is very interesting indeed! (But OMG, his theme sounds so frackin godly! Perfect way to close Heroes And Heroines! )

 

If Vanitas were to change sides, I'd love for him to be the anti-hero type of character! Like, even though he'd be on the side of light, he'd still be cocky and have the same personality he has now! That'd be badass to see! :')

Yeah. This is odd. It's Heroes and Heroines, but Vanitas battle themes are played in this!

 

I doubt this because of his behavior, but maybe Vanitas may help out Ventus in Kingdom Hearts 3? Or maybe this has something to do with Sora's ties to people within his heart.

 

Like, I see Sora.

Then going within Sora, I see Roxas.

Then within Roxas, I see Ventus and Vanitas (or Ventus within Vanitas).
