Does your Level on KHUx influence your damage at all?

 

I recently thought it wise (not) to try my hand against a lv 200 Armed Warrior

I myself am level 150 something.

Without buffs, all my medals (>5 stars, all fully maxed out for level) deal 1 damage.

 

And even with full magic buffs (i.e. +3 magic buff) and fully debuffing the monster (i.e. removing its status buffs and casting +3 magic debuff against the monster) against magic attacks I still do *drum roll* 13 damage. Its ridiculous.

 

This guys has more than 1 HP bar btw. Just wanted to know if my Level influences my damage output in any way.

 

Nope, level actually means nothing but the amount of lux you have collected.

Yeah, I think it just depends on you medals and Keyblade level. I'm level 220 and I'm having all the same problems you are. (This is a gacha game, after all. They want you to dump money into it to get rare/good medals.)

I threw everything I had at this heartless and it literally bounced off it

At certain levels you unlock avatar boards which gives you additional HP, Cost, AP, certain items and cosmetics. Although I'm sure you already this. That's...All that levels do for you. Unlock Avatar Boards, that's it.

 

Those enemies can be avoided easily tho in the recent daily challenge if that's what you're doing as they are optional.

As others have said, your lux level doesn't matter. The only levels that matter when it comes to damage are your Keyblade's level and your Nova level. For these guys, removing that x3 defense buff is the first thing you want to do. Boosting your own strength is next, which should be doable if you have a DiZ, KH2 Aerith, Vivi, Piglet, Pooh, Ill. Kairi, Sebastian, or Ariel & Flounder. Finally, you can try boosting your magic strength or lowering the enemy's defense (lowering defense is hard).

If none of that works, you might need to level up your Keyblade more so that you can get a bigger multiplier boost. If your attack strength is below a certain level, your hits won't do anything. For example, a medal doing 5000 damage won't do jack to a lv. 200 enemy, and probably still won't do much when boosted. With those Keyblade multipliers, you should be able to get your medals' attack high enough to do some damage.

 

(Maybe you should post a photo of your setup, and what your Keyblade multipliers look like.)

No, Lux Level does not determine your strength. It's your Keyblade and Medals that determine how strong you are in the game! I face these same problems when I face off against real tough opponents, which is why I opt to avoid them and fight ones that I can actually defeat! And this is coming from a guy who has really good medals! I need to raise my Keyblade's level though, cuz I need my medals to do more damage! X_X

Damage scales reeeally weirdly in this game. You neeeed the Strength boosts to deal damage, and you need the guilt too. Save support medals, I've resorted to basically only using guilted medals near 100%, cuz the others don't do nearly enough damage for me. I keep most of my support medals 5*, like Piglet, Minnie, Bell, Namine. I mainly only use Piglet tho, and I use it on basically every keyblade. 

 

Those medal deals that gave you medals preloaded with 3 dots were like my favorite because they gave you easy guilt if you managed to pull two of the same.

 

And yeah the level is really misleading. Back when I was doing the EXP quests when I started out, I didnt challenge the ones higher than my level. But levels of Growth eggs are super misleading because they always deal like 1 damage and they literally cant kill you
