In Ventus story, almost in the end, in the last Battle with Vanitas Ven says ''I

That was intentional. There are a bunch of things that Ven says and does that Sora did too (the hands behind the head, the friends thing, etc.).

A lot of lines were repeated. It was alright at first, but then I got a little tired of it.

Yeah most of the lines in the game were intentional.

I liked that, I would always freak out and smile alot when I would hear little repeat lines coming from Terra and Ven....and widdle Sora and Riku. >w< <333

Most every connected character in the series says the same lines over time.

and

when terra gets his heart taken over at the final battle he says that stuff about how darkness is the hearts true essence

Ansem says that in KH 1

How could we not? There are a bunch of lines like this, for example:

 

 

Terra: "Giving up already? Come on Ven, I thought you were stronger than that."

Ven: "I've become a part of their hearts, just as they've become part of mine. My friends are my power, and I'm theirs!"

Terranort: "This heart belongs again to darkness. All hearts begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it. It grows, consumes it, such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came."
