As Nomura stated, the team is dedicated on these two versions right now. Still, once the game has been released on these two consoles, Square Enix will consider bringing it to other platforms. What other platforms? Nomura did not clarify but we can safely assume that he’s referring to two: Nintendo Switch and PC.

 

Here is what Nomura had to say about bringing Kingdom Hearts 3 to other platforms (and a misunderstanding that occurred during an interview with IGN who claimed that Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming to Nintendo Switch).

“They misinterpreted the word ‘considering’ as to “it is possible to release” and it spread out. “Other hardware” is not limited to the Nintendo switch, and we will consider all of them after the release of the  PS4 and Xbox one versions.”

Welp this makes me happy hopefully the HD Collections appear on Steam and the Switch as well.

Well, if PC versions end up becoming a thing, then that'd be awesome, because that way, PC gamers could get in on the joy of playing the Kingdom Hearts series, and they could discover the world of awesomeness we console gamers have been enjoying for the past decade!

this game was the only reason I bought a PS4....and a ps3 oh well its still nice to play all the exclusiv titles and watch netflix from my couch

it'll probably come over eventually. Licensing used to be a problem for KH, but I wouldn't be surprised if the HD collection came to PC and Xbox One next year or at least at some point

Tbh if KH3 sells well on the Xbone at least western wise always a chance of the HD collections rereleasing on it along with a potential PC port of them with KH3.

 

Though if the whole KH3 series is on PC the modding community for KH would probably have a giant freakout in what they can now potentially do.

 

That and I'd uh totally buy all the games on PC.

 

Oh my goodness, if they release it for the PC I would absolutely love that! I would buy it and actually play it and love it because I really don't play console games all that much anymore and I refuse to buy a PS4 just for one game. I've got bills to pay, I need that money  :cool:

Honestly, with Final Fantasy XV getting a PC release(and making XII the only mainline title to remain console exclusive), this doesn't surprise me. It would be a good thing if this happens. The more, the merrier.
