We obviously are going to have a war of 20 people so I wondered how long will this go on? 1 hour or 2 and I wonder what forms Xehanort has prepared with those horcruxes or will we not fight 13 people... Because 13 people does get boring to me.

They could do a lot of cool things with the final battle to make them more interesting. I'm not worried. There's a popular idea that's been floating around forever now, as you probably know. The idea is swapping between the different guardians of light throughout the final battle. That would lead to different gameplay, as each character arguably has their own specialities. I really like the whole character swapping idea.

I hope that the final battle will be kinda like the final battles of each story from BBS. We had them all on the Keyblade Graveyard, fighting together first (in the cutscenes) and then have their own battles. I hope that in KH III it'll be similar to that, just a bit bigger with more people of course!

That would be the best In my opinion but it could also be like when we help the FF characters during the million heartless battle but I'd much rather like if we got to swap characters

...waiting for the Lingering Will to make an epic appearance during the conflict O.O

I think these confrontations would be epic, Aqua vs Terranort, Riku vs Ansem SoD, Lea vs Saïx, Ventus vs. Vanitas, Roxas vs Xemnas and Xigbar, Sora vs Xehanort and Young Xehanort I don't know who Kairi could be fighting tho since she doesn't have hatred for any particular character (let's hope they work on her character in KH3) if only this could happen but there's gotta be a twist since theres 13 darknesses and 7 lights

This is going to be the final battle that brings forth the end of an era. The Kingdom Hearts series as we know it presently will change forever after the end of the Xehanort Saga, so as such, I'm sure that the final battle/battles will be appropriately epic and large in scale! Nomura knows the expectation and hype that is surrounding the confrontation of the seven and thirteen, so I'm sure he won't disappoint!

 

Like other members have mentioned, we should fight as the different characters for their respective battles. Cuz I wanna live the emotion of Lea Vs. Isa by me using Lea, not just seeing it in a cutscene, ya know?

 

As for old man Xehanort, I expect his battle to have a few stages, just to amp up the difficulty!

The final battle will be on a monumental scale that's for sure. I would love to do battle with all 13 darkness', but I feel like the main fighting will be centered around Xehanort for the Final boss fight. What could happen is that as we progress through the battlegrounds we encounter each member and defeat them along the way to fight Xehanort. Or maybe for some reason, by the time Sora arrives the fighting has already begun and as he go through, we join up with each guardian of light and assist them with their battle before moving on.

 

As much as I'd love to play as each guardian of light, I don't really think Nomura wants to do that, he doesn't seem to be on board for another playable character, but then again he is a man with many secrets.
