I looked up preorder for kingdom hearts 3. Both Target and Amazon came up and they say the game will be released on 12/31/2018. So I don't know if that is the real date or they are saying that because they don't have an answer yet too. Just thought to let everyone know.

It's a placeholder date. Sites like Amazon and Target place 'estimation' dates so they can start accepting pre-orders. They have been doing that since the game was announced in 2013. Once the full release date is announced, then they will be updated.

it's alright, but remember don't trust the release dates on seller sites unless it has been officially announced by the developer.

Its still strange they could just as well Put in a bunch of Xs or zeros that would stop the confusion before it even begins
