WTF people i heard there is not suppose to be any family stuff in KH but i also heard that Ienzo(zexion's somebody) is ansem the wise's son can someone explain that

Even if there were family ties, who would be his mother?

Ienzo's parents died, and Ansem took care of him after that

Maybe Ansem found him in an orphanage, that could explain why they look completely different.

It's not that family doesn't exist; it's just that it's not very important. BBS especially overloads on family compared to the rest of the series:

 

- Ienzo being Ansem's adopted son (his parents died and he was taken in)

- Kairi and her grandmother

- Sora and his invisible father

- Eraqus and Xehanort having a brotherly relationship (or used to)

- Eraqus and Terra having a father-son relationship

Family does exist in KH, but it doesn't have any importance. Ansem the Wise adopted Ienzo since Ienzo's parents were dead

There's family in the games, it's just not important to the story. I think what Nomura meant was there's no twists to the story like MX being Riku's grandfather, Sora and Ven being long lost brothers, and stupid things like that.

lol did you know the voice actor of Sora's mom was the same gal who did Dexter's mom in Dexter's Labratory (that old cartoon network show)

They all have families in the game, but I don't see why they would go into detail about them unless it was necessary to the plot, and its not.

Families do exist in KH.It just that they pay more attention to the fact of friendship then they do to the fact of family.

I think they just didn't want to show him. When they show Sora standing on the dock talking to someone in the raft, there's no one in the raft, so they probably just don't want to put faces to Sora's parents.

The same reason there are invisible crowds in Olympus raining down confetti, or why Prince Charming is apparently hated by the various other females of his kingdom.

 

Eh, I guess it would've been rather time consuming to include them (iirc, on average, a person is given a week to model and texture each, uh, model). Or, maybe Sora's dad is just hiding somewhere.
