How did Sora knew in kh2 when he came to Hollow Bastion that this world is Hollow Bastion ?

If ur going to say the castle its not true because the castle is deffrint from kh1 to kh2

You act like the castle's been completely demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. Even if they had been remodelling for about a year, for a castle that huge, it's logical that it still retained some of the original characteristics. Also, it's HOLLOW BASTION. A lot of significant events happened there last time Sora visited. It's not exactly easy to forget a place like that.

well isn't the castle at villans vale (darkdephs) the castle sora visited in KH

the castle looks somewhat the same from kh1, they could of remodel it in the time Sora was away

because sora is phycic > no, maybe he just....knows o.o?

first off the thread title should say know and not knew, second the castle is a different from the one he visited in 1 but it looks like the one in the picture in deep jungle.

Hollow Bastion is the most unique Castle Sora has visited (In fact, I'm pretty sure he only other castle he has been to is Castle Oblivion, which, even if he could remember it, has such drastically different architecture that there's not way he could get them mixed up) so I don't think it would be particularly hard to recognize.

Beyond that, we really have no idea what KH characters see when they see a world. Brith By Sleep seems to imply they literally see the representations we see, which are designed to make it clear which world is which.

However, Sora did forget he became a heartless.

Just keep that in mind...

Hollow Bastion is Ansem's castle, which Maleficent took over. Villain's Vale is just a castle Maleficent built there herself afterward.

 

So Sora saw the castle, and remembered that he was just there like a couple months ago, then ran off to see Leon.

actually, now that i think of it for a few seconds, why did they even make a town outside of the hollow bastion castle? enough happened in the castle that i think i would make sense if they kept things in/around the castle. they could have brought back some of the areas from KH1, made some new places to explore within the castle from those familiar places, maybe do something like put a door somewhere in the library leading to ansem's computer lab, stuff like that. i just thought of this now, so sorry if it sounds like i'm just rambling on. just a thought though.

They look sort of similar. If you remember, half of the castle in KH1 is the regular castle, and the other half is the demented pipe/factory castle. And on a side note, does anyone else besides me think that KH1 Hollow Bastion was the best level in the series? sometimes I just play kingdom hearts to just wander around Hollow Bastion and sightsee...odd

Who says Sora can't read? He's not dumb... at least, he's smart enough to get passing grades...
