Who do you guys think will be the next antagonist post-xehanort?

Posted

My guess is that it will be the Master of Masters since his seeing eye is has literally been throughout all of the games. I have a strong feeling we'll be seeing him in the next saga of KH.

Maybe the Character Kugo Ginjo from the Manga/Anime Bleach based like figure, where the villain starts out, as an ally but later on reveals his true colours and intentions, something like that maybe?

Yeah, we're probably looking at The Master Of Masters being our next villain! The way he's been portrayed makes it look like he's this omniscient being, and seeing as how his all seeing eye has been through the entire Xehanort Saga, and given his mysterious disappearance during the events of X, I'd like to believe there's more to him! And also, his personality makes him interesting enough that I'd love to see him have more screentime! Nomura did say that Union X would continue beyond Kingdom Hearts III, so maybe Union X will build up and foreshadow the MoM to be the villain of the next saga! :D

And if not him, then a villain who is obsessed with the light. :3

Either Luxu or someone, maybe will see a redeemed Xehanort perhaps, who knows?

Yeah, Luxu could also be a fair candidate for the next villain after Xehanort. As for Xehanort himself, I don't want him appearing in the future. Kingdom Hearts III will be where his ambitions end, I want Sora to end him, not show him mercy, ya know?

Marluxia. Everyone seems to think he's a member of the True Organization XIII, but him being in the group doesn't fit anything we were told about what constitutes an unfitting vessel. Yes, we have a Marluxia-based Nobody in KHIII, so it's obvious he'll be in the game, but if anything, I think whatever goes on with Marluxia in KHIII will be a setup for him being the antagonist of KHIV.

As for a redeemed Xehanort, I'm sure Young Xehanort will be redeemed and Sora will find a way for him stay in the present. My theory has always been "heart piece from YX is left in the present and the Key to Return Hearts creates a new body for it".

That's not Sora's style, he doesn't END his enemies, if he did, he wouldn't be the likable protagonist that i in my personal opinion know him to be, for sure, i want Sora to defeat Xehanort once and for all but not kill him, if you truly want Xehanort to suffer then you make him live to regret all the things he has done, to reflect on what he's done and take away his Dark powers, in otherwords, he'll be left alive but he will never again have the power to threaten the universe even if he wanted to, after journeying, as a nomad across the galaxy, hopefully he will come to understand what he has done and try to make amends, even if no amends can be made, that's how i think Xehanort should be portrayed after his Saga has ended.

Actually, Sora had no qualms about killing off Marluxia. Remember that by that time, he didn't know that he was a Nobody, and therefore he didn't know that Nobodies could return to being human until Dream Drop Distance. So keep in mind that Sora went in fighting Marluxia with the intent to protect Namine from him, and when Marluxia was agonizing and fading away, Sora didn't exactly seem to look remorseful. So he may be happy go lucky, but even people like Sora have their serious moments from time to time.

And well, while that would be a cool way to develop Xehanort's character, I'd honestly just prefer for him to die. Don't get me wrong, I love the character, but I don't want him to be redeemable, simply for the fact that there are many villains in media that have gone that route, and while it's an awesome route to take, I want Xehanort to remain evil to the core, ya know? If he does somehow survive and lives to regret everything he's done and tries to help Sora and friends in the future, then hey, I won't complain. But after KHIII, I want the series to move on from Xehanort, ya know?

Yeah but i just want to debate that alright, Sora does have his serious moments and may be forced to take certain actions against his enemies but i know for fact that he doesn't intentionally seek them out in order to kill them in the end, only to stop them, it is then that he makes his decision regarding the enemies when facing them in battle, its a living in the certain moment sort of thing, know what i mean?

No Xehanort anymore his saga is done. I say MoM.

Yeah, I get you. We'll just have to wait and see for what happens when Kingdom Hearts III finally rolls around! And awesomely enough, we won't have to wait that much longer! :D

Come November, the 13th hour...

Come November, the 13th hour...

Duuude, I swear that I'm really thinking that November is the most likeliest month we'll get the game! September would also make sense, though, since that was the month the first Kingdom Hearts released in the US! So it'd be neat if it released in September! If not, then November is most likely!

Yeah, VII Lights, XIII Darknesses...

Yeah, VII Lights, XIII Darknesses...

The gathering of the seven and thirteen is nigh! In the fated place, the final clash shall beget the final prize...the X-Blade itself, and with it, the door to the one true Kingdom Hearts, unlocked! It's going to be pretty darn amazing!

This just makes me all the more intrigued for who the next big bad is gonna be!
