I think you got the english release and the ultimania release mixed up. The english release is still January. But on the bright side the ultimania will give us something to look at in the meantime.

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of new artwork for the Ultimanias lately. Days was the last one to get it, and even then, it was already used as the ending screen of the game. But whatever, I'll be picking it up anyways. So thankful for the existence of Kinokuniya nearby ^^

It's a guidebook, and will pretty much tell you everything you want to know about the game plot-wise (assuming you can read Japanese). Well... actually, not every little secret, but most of them anyways. Honestly, if you can't read it, the main highlight would be the concept art and renders ^^

 

You're confusing the Ultimania with the game. The game will be released in NA on January 11, the same day the FNC Conference is taking place in Japan. Re:coded will be released in EUR on the 14th.
