Hello everyone!

 

 

 We are currently looking for more staff to help contribute and work hard to keep KH13 great! Nothing beats contributing to the success of something you enjoy and love! We are especially searching for people to contribute to the KHX, Social Media,Translators, and News Teams. Joining the Staff has some wonderful perks, like working with fellow Kingdom Hearts enthusiasts who love giving back to the fandom with the latest news and updates, and being among the first to know any details we receive from said media outlets!

 

For News Team:

 

What we're looking for:

 

- Passionate about the Kingdom Hearts series and up-to-date with the latest news.

- Active enough and availability to regularly watch out for news and *respond quickly* when something appears.

- Eagerness to volunteer, contribute, and engage in team work.

- Reasonable writing skills and appreciation for fact-checking and accuracy.

Optional for News but important for KHX team:
- Someone who keeps up-to-date with Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ (Japanese version and International version) would be very helpful!

- Japanese language skills.

 

For Social Media:

 

What we're looking for:

• A big interest in the Kingdom Hearts series.
• Active enough to regularly post on the KH13 Community Twitter, KH13 Tumblr & KH13 Facebook pages.
• Creativity
• Reasonable writing skills.

 

Typical tasks:

• Posting KH13 fan-content (art, videos, discussions, fictions) daily
• Helping to create the Poll of the Day each day.
• Scheduling monthly posts: Kingdom Hearts anniversaries, Disney film/SE game anniversaries, birthdays, music (fan-made and original) & holiday posts.
• Looking for ‘other news’ to retweet on the Twitter page (t-shirts designs, music album/manga/novel releases, podcasts, etc).
• Coming up with ideas for new features or expanding on current ones.

 

 

For Translators:

 

We are currently looking for Japanese -> English translators to help contribute to the KH13 News Teams! We are looking for people who can give us translations of Japanese articles from popular gaming sources like Famitsu, Jump and Dengeki magazines, in addition to updates on the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts Union x[cross]. We will provide the text for you. If you are able to translate proficiently enough to help us understand the main highlights and the essence of what is being said please apply and we can work together on helping keep our fellow Kingdom Hearts fans informed and up-to-date! 

 

•    Experience is not required as we're happy to try out new people, even those who have no formal experience translating things for others

•    We will be taking into account your proficiency level of course, but we encourage people to try out even if they're not super confident - because even if your proficiency is not 100%, we might still be able to use your help in translating short texts for us.

•    You will always be credited for your work whenever your translations are used

I could volunteer to be a part of one of your teams.  I have been deeply into the "'Kingdom Hearts'" Series since 2008 when I first played "'Kingdom Hearts 2'".

I am a Disney Loyalist, and I am studying in the field of New Media.  I am a Digital Storyteller with a Dream to work for Disney.

Since I first played KH2, I was drawn in by the Disney aspect.  Yet, having played some of the "'Final Fantasy'" games Tetsuya Nomura worked on, I have come to have an appreciation for both.

I did take a year of Japanese in high school back in 2010-2011.  I have a LOT of time on my hands, so I am willing to volunteer, if you would like to have me as part of a team here.

I could volunteer to be part of the Social Media team. I've had a passion for Kingdom Hearts ever since I saw the commercial for it on Disney Channel way back when. I grew up with this story and its characters. Having the chance to put out content for this franchise would mean a lot to me. I have experience as a Content Writer and a Freelance Writer and also publishing things on social media, ie Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram etc. This could a good opportunity to learn while doing something that I love. 

I would love to join the news or social media teams. I have been a die hard KH fan for a long time and keep up with everything that comes out.I would love to work with you guys. I am on YouTube Twitter Instagram, and fb with the kh discussion group, and I write a bit. I'm in the middle of writting my own book so writing comes a little naturally.
