Leveling the drive forms were the most cryptic pain in the butt ever.

I didn’t even know about the special requirements to level up each drive form.

NO COMMONER KNEW HOW TO LEVEL UP THE DRIVE FORMS!!!

It literally says in the menus

Did people not look at the Status part of the menu?

Well I guess if you were a kid

A lot of people did not look through menus

read your menus kids

remember kids:

you dont go to a restaurant and just read the name of an item before ordering

Menus make up an important part of your literacy needs

and then hit Triangle to eat it

It wasn't really high on the priority list to check what things you can get from drive

Where does it show you in the status menu?

Especially since KH2 original didn't exactly push you to use drives

When you go in status

by the exp left to level it up

And then go to drives you can check how many mor euntil you Lv up

I wonder if it was in the manual?

Why would I ever go to the status menu?

Widsom -> Nexel Level -> bottom of screen -> This form gains 1 exp for every dark being defeated
or whatever it said before they changed the text in KH2FM to make it easier
