I mean yea but

people want to beat the game with the worst stats possible but complain about the damage being too low

if you want more damage level up maybe???

Well that doesn't necessarily mean they want to do no dmg

I guess they're used to KH2 which lets you do a lot of damage even at lvl1

kh2 lvl1 is dumb

Well it offers a higher challenge if you just have the lowest stats in magic and hp and no extra abilities

And strength too but you still want to be able to do actual damage otherwise it would just be tedious

I just think people want to wear the "crit lvl1" badge but without facing the consequences a lvl1 run should have

Well they definitely want to wear the badge but I don't think it should be like that if you are going to make it a playable option in your game

but what's the point of a leveling system then

I mean you get more than strength from lvling up

idk it's like complaining that lvl1 dark souls with base dagger is too hard??

It's not the difficulty that's the problem

It's just tedious

Nobody would be wanting to play crit LVL 1 if it was like that

I guess people are looking for a live fast die young rather than a long fight each time. For me personally I would never do level 1 because I expect t it would be tedious

no one wants to sit there doing a couple of pixels worth of hp when the boss has 10+ health bars

you can make level 1 challenging without boring the player to dwath

then adjust your leveling up to suit your preferences

I started a lvl1 proud to substitute critical

They don't want to LVL up at all

I went up to lvl5 bc I was doing too little damage
